Methods: The general part of the thesis provides a summary of the anatomy, biomechanics, theoretical knowledge about elbow injuries and total elbow replacement. The special part of the thesis provides the case report of a female with radial head replacement, which was prepared in the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu during the period from January 6, 2014 to January 31, 2014, under the supervision of the physiotherapist Mgr. Jakub Hoskovec. The thesis further includes the baseline and final kinesiological analysis, describes the individual therapeutic sessions, and evaluates the effects of therapy and the respective physiotherapy techniques. Results: The objectives set at the beginning of therapy have been successfully met. The treatment resulted in reduced swelling and pain in the right upper limb, especially in the elbow joint, increased range of motion of the right elbow and forearm,...
Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis of fracture of the distal radius

Title Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of fracture of the distal radius Aim of the thesis The aim of the teoretical part of this thesis is to familiarize the reader with the knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology of the upper limb and to approach the problém of fractures of the forearm with a focus on fractures of the distal radius. The aim of the practical part is to describe the physiotherapeutic care of a patient with a diagnosis of the condition after a fracture of he distal radius by means of a case report using the techniques, methods and knowledge acquired during the study of physiotherapy. Methodology The theoretical part of the thesis is elaborated in the form of a literature search. It describes all the important data related to the themes of the practical part, namely anatomy, kinesiology, hand function and grip. The traumatology side discusses possible fractures in the area of the forearm, the possibilities of treating the injuries and the most commonly used physiotherapeutic methods and the means for subsequent rehabilitation. The practical part is a case report of a patient diagnosed with a distal radius fracture, description of the whole therapeutic care, input and output kinesiological analysis, description of the individual therapeutic units and...

Stress-strain analysis of internal plate fixator of distal radius fracture
Hussliková, Veronika ; Hájek, Petr (referee) ; Marcián, Petr (advisor)
Distal radius fractures are one of the most common fractures. In case of a complicated fracture, it is necessary to proceed with surgical treatment using an internal plate fixator. The aim of this thesis was to perform a stress-strain analysis of an internal plate fixator attached to the distal radius using bone screws. Computational modeling using finite element method was used to assess the mechanical interactions among the individual elements of this system. The stress-strain analysis was performed for three different types of fixation in geometry models including a distal radius fracture and a healed distal radius and for three different types of loads. In the evaluation of the results, the influence of the type of load and the influence of the healing of the bone tissue were assessed. For the bending load, which was the most critical, the yield strength was not exceeded in the plate or in the bone screws, and therefore irreversible plastic deformation of the material did not occur.
IEEE 802.1x for LAN network admission control
Čuhel, Radim ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
This semestral work deals with the control of access to current local networks using IEEE 802.1X protocol. At the beginning of the thesis are the basic concepts of network access control and possible standards and protocols that are used today. The practical output is the implementation of an authentication server in the form of a virtual server in the laboratory, creating a sample network configuration and a laboratory task in which other students will be able to learn the IEEE 802.1X protocol.
