Dušan Foltýn ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis reviews the history of the borough Byšice in the last two centuries and attempts to assess the importance of the various epochs in the development of the community. The main body of the thesis examines its own history of the borough, the side lines represent the cultural history and the history of the village school in Byšice. All events are processed gradually in a chronological order. The role of various social groups in the history of the town is being examined, as well as the conversion of the urban village in the city. Name of the work: Religious Teaching Institute in Chrudim and its contribution to the girl's education in the years 1894-1942 This work describes girl's education in the Czech lands during the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century with emphasis on teachers' education and girl schools conducted by religious orders. The work contains a brief outline of the history of the Congregation of the School Sisters of St. Francis and its educational activities. Special attention is paid to one of its institutions, Teacher Training School in Chrudim, including its history, teachers and educational methods.

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of education in Hluboká nad Vltavou in the years 1897-1945 in the light of chronicles. The introduction outlines the history of the town and the history of education in Hluboká nad Vltavou. Considering the complexity of this topic, thesis is focused only on girls' primary school in Hluboká nad Vltavou. Individual chapters are in detail focused on the life at a girls' primary school in pre-war, interwar and war period. The work specifically describes the teaching staff and the head teachers, who worked at the school in that period. It also deals with the pupils and their school teaching related to this specific time period. In this thesis are also listed important events which in some way interfered with the running of the school. The last aspects, which the work deals with, are regular school events, special school events, celebrations and events arising from a certain time. This bachelor thesis is mainly based on school chronicles and chronicles of the town.
Educational system in Borovany in 1918-1948 in the light of chronicles

This bachelor thesis describes development of education and training in Borovany between 1918-1948. The work is divided into five chapters that follow each other chronologically and include a description of the development of education in Borovany by information from school chronicles. These chapters are further divided thematically. At the beginning of these thesis is described the history of the town and its schools, which serve the general view on this subject. The next chapters that are aimed directly at some specific period in which it is mapped events that affected education in Borovany. This is especially the period after the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia, World War II and the postwar period. The work should contribute to the mapping of education in Borovany in the period 1918-1948.
Postpedagogical work of Schoenebeck and its roots in the history of theory of education

The work deals with the work of the German theorist of education Schoenebeck. At first examines how his theory evolved and what principles reached. Then look into the history of theories of education from Comenius to the present. It examines the bases of various theories and compares them with the bases of Schoenebeck, to reveal what causes disagreements in the debate about them. Finally, is looking for basis, which can now stand against those of Schoenebeck.

The present work deals with the development of elementary school in Svatý Jan nad Malší in 1880 - 1945. The work is based next to the professional literature on archival sources deposited in the State District Archive in České Budějovice in the fund Archive of village Svatý Jan nad Malší (partially processed), the parish office of Svatý Jan nad Malší, Local School Board of Svatý Jan nad Malší, primary school in Svatý Jan nad Malší (unprocessed). The thesis is divided besides standard introduction and conclusion into six chapters. The first and the second one close to the village and parish of Svatý Jan nad Malší. The third chapter on the basis of literature describes the development of primary education in the Czech lands. The remaining three chapters then provide space for the school itself. The fourth chapter is devoted to the school building, the organization of the school year, celebrations, deals with the local council and school aids, the six chapter focuses on teachers and pupils. Part of the work is pictorial and text attachments.
Administrative organization of the elementary education and its operation in the Třeboň region from the beginning of the 19th century to 1868

This work contributes to the history of the administration of the elementary education presented on the example of the Třeboň region in the period between 1774 and 1869. The study is focused on the development, organization, information exchange and operation of institutions of the school administration and competencies of its particular office workers. The introductory part presents the basic literature related to the topic and evaluates the level of research, as well as the complexity of the source basis. The first fundamental chapter introduces reformatory efforts of Maria Theresa and Joseph II in the field of education including a series of other legal amendments and liberal school laws from the years 1868 and 1869 which enabled a system of general schools to be established. As a part of this chapter the agenda of particular office workers of the school administration, their competencies, tasks and mutual relations are described. The attention is also brought to the school visitations. The second chapter describes the extension of the Třeboň school region and its particular parochial schools. The image of the lower education in the observed period is depicted by three chapters devoted to teachers, pupils and schools in the Třeboň region These chapters are devoted to required education of the teachers and detailed analysis of their salaries based on the school financial statements, introduce some significant personalities among local teachers but also social background of the pupils, taught subjects, questions of the patronage, language aspect, length of a school year and so on. The total summary is given in the conclusion.

Presented master thesis deals with description of the gradual development and positions of the church schools in CR during the last 20 years. These schools are then complemented by the schools of theology at CR universities. This thesis is in a certain way a continuation of a bachelor thesis, successfully defended in 2007 at the School of Education of Charles University. The thesis describes in brief the history of education and pedagogy in general, church schools including. Then there are specified all the pertinent valid legal regulations for operation of church schools based on experience of the author from a managerial position of such a school for many years. The role of the general management and management of human resources on one side and the theological reflection of the church schools on the other side is discussed. In detail, the equipment of the facilities and their economy is analyzed as well as the goals and calling of these schools. In a wide spectrum of opportunities open to church schools in 21st century their potential can be used through new and fresh methods for evangelizing, mission and pastoral care.
