Indoor Detection of People Based on Vital Sign Sensing
Meter of pulse frequency variability
Starzyczny, Radek ; Lutera, Ondřej (referee) ; Strašil, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and construct an autonomous module for receiving and processing HRV (Heart Rate Variability). The device is made as an extension board for development kit STM32. For receiving HR signal is used sensor RMCM-01. The device allow calculate and display the heart rate and its variability and some more parameters from collected data.
Heart Rate Variability Measurement Device
Süss, Ivo ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Strašil, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to develop a device that will receive the signal from sporttester belt and then that signal will be processed. The meter is based on development kit STM32 Primer 2. To receive signals from sporttester belts uses sensor RMCM-01 Polar. The meter allows measurement of parameters of heart variability, recording on a memory card and work with the measured data from the memory card.
The heartbeat counter
Malínský, Zdeněk ; Dlouhý, Jiří (referee) ; Švrček, Martin (advisor)
Heart rate variability belongs to basic and most frequently interpretation of physiologic statement in medicine. The pulse rate serves as an indicator of the heart activity. The subject of this diploma thesis is projection of the heartbeat counter. The work describes electrocardiograph and separated waves, ways of calculation heart rate, characteristics mechanism for measuring and other necessary information about heart rate measuring. This master thesis fixates on heart rate-calculation from including R-R intervals. Here is described whole project of heartbeat counter, properties of separated blocks and calculation of useful parameters. Further there is noted software resolution for the microcontroller and program for the calculation of heart rate frequency including unwinding signal preprocessing and detection of separated QRS complexes. The products of this diploma thesis are the circuit including the board circuit and codes of separated programs.
Detection of atrial fibrillation in long-term ECG records
Imramovská, Klára ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Maršánová, Lucie (advisor)
The thesis deals with problems of automatic detection of atrial fibrillation in long-term ECG records. The preface of the theoretical part describes the electrophysiology of the heart and the principle of atrial fibrillation. Furthermore, it introduces methods of automatic detection of atrial fibrillation. In the practical part a method which uses the symbolic dynamics and a calculation of Shannon entropy is implemented in the MATLAB software environment. The method is tested on signals from the MIT-BIH Atrial Fibrillation Database and the Long-Term AF Database. Lastly, the accuracy of the classification is compared with methods described in different papers.
Ultrasound fetal detector
Mackových, Marek ; Čech, Petr (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the design of simple fetal detector, which can obtain information about fetal heart rate during pregnancy. The work includes theoretical description of Doppler systems and custom systems design detector.
Surrogate data analysis for assessing the significance of interaction between cardiovascular signals
Javorčeková, Lenka ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Svačinová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to get familiar with methods to generate surrogates and how to apply them on cardiovascular signals. The first part of this diploma thesis describes the basic theory of baroreflex function and methods to generate surrogate data. Surrogate data were generated from data, acquired from the database, by using three different methods. In the next part of this diploma thesis, coherence significance between blood pressure and heart intervals was calculated by using surrogates. In the end two hypotheses were defined and tested by which it was detected whether the orthostatic change of the measurement position has effect on the causal coherence change and baroreflex function.
Correlates finding of heart rate changes in fMRI data
Jurečková, Kateřina ; Gajdoš, Martin (referee) ; Bartoň, Marek (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with problematic of correlates finding of heart rate changes in fMRI data. The first part describes principle of fMRI, creation of BOLD signal, data acquisition, their pre-processing and analysis. The next part describes heart rate variability and its impact on fMRI data. The following section is dedicated to pre-processing of heart rate time series to the form, which can be used in correlates finding of heart rate variability and fMRI data with generalized linear model. The process of statistical testing and its result with discussion can be found in the last part of this thesis.
Face-detection based touchless measurement of heart rate
Chmelíková, Lucie ; Potočňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
This thesis deals with the study of contactless and noninvasive methods for estimation of heart rate. Contactless measurement is based on capturing person faces by video camera and from sequences of pictures are estimated values of the heart rate. The theoretical part describes heart rate and methods that are being used to estimate heart rate from color changes in the face. It also contains testing of tracking algorithms. Practical part deals with user interface of program for contactless measurement of heart rate and its software solution. Thesis also contains statistical evaluation of program functionality.
Application for heart rate estimation using smartphone
Šara, Kryštof ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
This student work deals with the issue of heart biosignals, their processing, the possibility of their acquisition using conventional and smart devices, and the regulation of mobile devices in healthcare. The work also includes the design of a mobile application, which can be used to a quick estimation of the human heart rate (HR). The optimized functional application algorithm was tested on a sample of independent subjects and a mean deviation of 0.74 beats per minute (BPM), relative to the ECG reference record, was reached.
