Establishment of a community center, preparation of an application for a support from EU funds and it's difficulties

This diploma thesis deals with the problem of community social work in a small town and the planning of new social services to be convinient for the real needs of the community. The thesis also deals with possible difficulties which the municipality can encounter to as applicant for a grant from the Integrated Regional Operational Program (call no. 74 Development of polyfunctional community centers infrastructure). It also focuses on the topic of sustainability of the project. The aim of this diploma thesis is to theoretically define the community centers and community social work and to describe the possibilities of drawing funds from the EU fund and the process of preparing the application and its difficulties.
Fighting Corruption in Misuse of Financial Funds from European Union: Case Study Regional Operation Programme North-West (ROP Severozápad)

This thesis is focusing on corruption and misuse of financial funds from European Union. It primarily analyses Regional Operation Programme North-West (ROP Severozápad), which ended with massive corruption affair. The affair lead to the suspension of payments from the European Union, change of assignment of projects in the next programme period, but also opened the question of current trends in corruption in the Czech Republic. The main aim of the thesis was to identify the most dangerous spots that lead to misuse of European funds, connect the corruption affair with current corruption trends in the Czech Republic and suggest basic activities that could prevent the misuse of European subsidies in the future. The aim was achieved via analysis of the operation programme, that ran through the years 2007-2013. It was discovered, that the system was purpose-built so that the local politicians could manipulate with the order of winning projects and thus unfairly distribute the financial funds from the European Union.

The aim of the thesis is to describe possible ways of financing construction investment from the investor's perspective. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of the implementation of the construction contract, it's suitable financing option through credit and subsidies, and the overall evaluation of the method of financing.

The theoretical part of this thesis describes the entities that are active in the construction market and how the construction orders are divided. The thesis is focused on the public procurement and the public contracting authority and the objective is to analyze the financial situation and financing of a particular construction contract and propose alternative ways of financing.

The Bachelor’s thesis approaches the possibilities of project co-financing using the financial resources from EU funds. The introductory chapter deals with the concept of EU regional policy, further there are particular European funds presented and connection to the Czech system of programme documents. The Fundamental, practical part of the thesis concerns with the selection of a suitable operational programme and the processing of materials necessary for the completion of the Grant Application Form. Particular steps that the applicant must accomplish before his application is passed are also mentioned as well as the conditions for the recipient of the grant.
Implementation and Absorption Capacity of EU funds in Tourism

The thesis aims to analyze European funds promoting tourism in the Czech Republic, and to assess the extent to which the Czech Republic was able to take advantage of this support. The intention is to introduce current possibilities of using EU funds and analyze how effective implementation was. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to regional policy and the instruments through which it is implemented. The second chapter deals with the Implementation process of EU funds at European and national level. The last chapter analyzes data focused on financial support to the tourism development in the period of 2007-2013, and 2014-2020.

This thesis deals with the investment project financing non-manufacturingorganizations from European Union funds. The theoretical section applies to fundsof regional policy and its objectives, as well as the regional operational program, based in NUTS II. Practical part includes an analysis of real project. The designpart is concerned with the problems that arose during the project, but who would have been prevented in the future. This section contains my own suggestions and recommendations.

This bachelor´s thesis deals with issue of unemployment in the District of Breclav and its solution through the use of financial resources from the European Social Fund for active employment policy. The theoretical part of the work focus on knowledge of the European Union and on issue of unemployment. The analytical part is devoted to research unemployment in the District of Breclav, retraining and further target groups in active employment policy. Proposal part of work deals with the questionnaire survey, to assess the effectiveness of retraining. The result of bachelor´s thesis are proposals to improve the situation regarding unemployment and retraining.
