Rationalization of the production system at Boltjes International spol. s r.o.
Kavanová, Barbora ; Svobodová, Hana (advisor) ; Poprach, Ivor (referee)
This work focuses on the issues related to improving the manufacturing process effectiveness in the company Boltjes International spol. s r.o, based on the principles of lean manufacturing. It mainly comes out from the theoretical principles of the Toyota Production System. Based on the analysis of the organisation of the manufacturing system of the company Boltjes the graduation theses describes problematic areas. The paper establishes their priorities and submits practical proposals and recommended solutions in the direction of higher productivity of the complete manufacturing process. The paper uses for these solutions a method of a qualified significance tree and the mapping of the manufacturing flows. The paper deals with stock management, organisation of the manufacturing system and with management of human resources.
Lean Enterprise
Trnovská, Lucia ; Klečka, Jiří (advisor) ; Košturiak, Ján (referee)
In the recent years, the ever changing economic conditions, be it on a global or local market, have caused an increasing amount of interest in management approaches. The new trend seems to be the implementation of so-called lean systems, and it is exactly the theme of a lean enterprise that this bachelor's thesis strives to delve into. The first part of the thesis focuses on portraying the historic events that led to the creation of the concept of a lean enterprise, its characteristics, basic principles, methods and elements that this enterprise applies in its functioning. It also delves into economic aspects that the process of leaning includes. The practical part focuses on analysis of lean elements implementation in the production company OMS, spol. s.r.o. This company is one of the largest producers of luminary products in the Central and Eastern Europe. In the recent years, it has realised a number of projects and changes in the area of leaning. Many of the systems have already been incorporated into the company, or are being prepared for that very purpose. This part also mentions certain problems that have occurred while implementing the lean elements, and possible solutions to these problems.
Application of the lean manufacturing methods with the special focus on Total productive maintenance method at the company BAEST, a.s.
Novotný, Jakub ; Kislingerová, Eva (advisor) ; Kulovaný, František (referee)
This thesis is focused on the suggestions for the application of maintenance department optimization concept -- Total productive maintenance, in the context of wider concept of lean manufacturing, in the BAEST company. The content of the thesis is to get acquainted with the theoretical background of the lean manufacturing and maintenance, analysis of the current state at the company's maintenance department reflecting the described theoretical background, identification of the potential for improvements by comparing the current state with the theoretically ideal state and coming up with individual recommendations for improvements of the maintenance department in order to make it better and more effective and efficient.
Lean enterprise
Gmenta, Marian ; Klečka, Jiří (advisor) ; Svobodová, Hana (referee)
The content of this thesis is a set of approaches that lead to a leaner enterprise. Besides the basic lean methods that are described in the theoretical part of this paper, the most attention is devoted to total productive maintenance (TPM). The practical part of this paper primarily focuses on a complete analysis of the maintenance system in Parker Hannifin and then on a project designed to implement the basic elements of TPM in the above mentioned enterprise. At the end of the piece, the project is evaluated and further ideas and recommendations for the future development of TPM in the enterprise are proposed.
Application of pull system in lean production
MAREŠ, Lukáš
The main target of this study is analysis of production system in organization which has implemented philosophy of the lean production into its management system and examination of variants that lead to the increase of organization flexibility to fluctuation in the customers´ orders. The sub target of this study is to properly describe a lean production system, which on the basis of integration of the individual tools and empowering of each employee to the company interest, profits from synergic effect of all elements of organization that draw this management model.
Organization and production management of assembling parts for cars
NEKOLOVÁ, Jitka
Possibilities of organizational structure, operating and production management, production process and logistics are described in the theoretical part of this work. It was taken as a base for practically part of work, where is writen about company fuctioning, description and avaluation of organizational structure, operating management, description of new concept of production management, which was implemented in practice and description of logistics input and output with improvement suggestions.
The possibility of increasing productivity and improving business processes using methods and tools of industrial engineering and systems implementation of lean manufacturing
KOTTOVÁ, Jitka
This diploma thesis concerns the possibility of increasing productivity and improving business processes using methods and tools of industrial engineering and systems implementation of lean manufacturing in the company Schwan-STABILO ČR, s.r.o. The concept of lean production is known from the 50 of the last century and was first applied to the Japanese automaker Toyota, which due to its production system (Toyota Production System) was able to produce faster, cheaper and above all to a higher standard than its Western competitors. The main objective of this thesis is an analysis of the current state of the process and drafting of the required state of the process so that waste can be eliminated and productivity increased. With the implementation of lean methods and tools of production has been achieved the following improvements: - reduce the number of operators from the current 9 to shift to 5 operators in the shift, - increase the overall efficiency of facilities by more than 10 %, - reduction of machines from an average of 83 minutes to 22 minutes, - reducing the continuous production period of 59 days (74,14 days that for 15 days), - decreasing of the stock material, semi finished products and finished products from 404 790 pieces to 82 350 pieces.
Analysis of aplication potential of the Lean manufacturing principles in the selected industrial company
ŘÍHA, Karel
The basis of lean manufacturing is to minimize the inventories to reveal the disfunctions of the production system and to optimize process to avoid every kind of wastes. Lean systems are characteristic with smooth pull production system with one piece flow and just in time supplements of inventories. The layout of the line is transformed to the U work cell and the material is ordered by using kanban tickets. To receive the potential of implementation of the lean manufacturing principles we can use indicators IE - industrial efficiency and PLT - pruduction lead time.
Process improvement of logistic in the production
SUCHÁNKOVÁ, Hedvika
My diploma work is focussed on the organisation of materials flow in a selected enterprise. In the frame of the studied enterprise I devoted special attention to the flow of packaging and manufacturing materials demonstrated on the operations of a particular manufacturing hall. Based on the implemented analysis the enterprise management decided to optimise the unsatisfying state of processes in compliance with the principles of lean production. The described re-structuring was aimed at a decrease in the stock of finished products packed in boxes and in an increased efficiency of responds to potential client requirements, further at specification of rules and setting responsibilities in the fields of logistics and manufacturing. The concluding section of the diploma work is focussed on potential improvement measures which could be taken within the studied enterprise.
Lean company
Prášilík, Zdeněk ; Klečka, Jiří (advisor) ; Krejčí, Filip (referee)
Lean company could be characterized with high effectivity of internal proceses and sustain elimination of waste. Lean company uses several methods, which are aplicated on many proceses along whole value stream of the product. This essay includes most known and used methods such as: just in time method, kaizen improovement philosophy, based on systematic improovement activities iniciated by employees. Also systems of autonomation in production - jidoka, improoved logistic methods and pull-system using kanban, nivelization of the production flow by heijunka method, error proofing systems poka-yoke, systems of organizing office and workplace 5S. All of it summarized in economic results. In analytical part, trying to find out, whether lean systems take effect in services. Using comparison of two real estate agencies, I have find out that lean systems really exists even in services. Moreover there is a big difference between company that uses, and company which do not.
