Analysis of radiation control in the storage of spent nuclear fuel at NPP Temelín
PAPAN, Juraj
Problems of dealing with radioactive materials, especially burnt out nuclear fuel, are a delicate and discussed topic in the Czech Republic and other advanced countries nowadays. In this work, the realization of radiation control of warehouse of burnt-out atomic fuel of nuclear power plant Temelín is analysed. Step by step there are stored packaging files filled with burnt-out fuel which is produced by the running of atomic reactors. In the introductory chapters individual packaging files are described. The shielding of stored burnt-out nuclear fuel and prevention of release of radionuclides beyond the protective casing of packaging files depend on their quality. Further the lo-cality of nuclear plant Temelín, where the warehouse of burnt-out nuclear fuel is placed including manipulations which are carried out with the packaging file, is described. The emphasis is placed on monitoring technological parameters during the storage of pack-aging files. The target of this work is to analyse the radiation control of warehouse of burnt-out nuclear fuel, precautions of radiation protection valid for this object and con-sider the possibility of optimalization of used measuring devices, suggest the adjustment of the way of carried out monitoring. For meeting the goals of this works it was neces-sary to carry out monitoring the current radiation situation in the storage boat which is partly filled with packaging spaces when according to the following calculations I ap-proached to the prediction of the level of radiation situation during the maximum filled storage boat. These calculations are at the same time the background for the proposal of adjustment of regime precautions in this object with the aim to optimise the professional radiation. One of the basic strategic targets of the operator of nuclear plant Temelín, company ČEZ a.s., is to ensure a safe operation of the biggest Czech nuclear plant, one of the basic conditions for meeting this target is to ensure the radiation control and pro-tection in the required quality. The results, which are the output of this work, will be given to the department Operation of radiation protection for other practical usage, pos-sible adjustment of a current operation documentation which solves the radiation control of the storage of burnt-out nuclear fuel.

The suggestion of educational trail around Třešť
LÍBALOVÁ, Lucie
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create a draft of educational trail. The central issues are the remains of this local mining activities, which were and are almost forgotten. The sense of create this draft of two educational trails was to remind visitors that this region has mining history, which was overshadowed by mining city of Jihlava, and also to provide them diverse experiences. In this thesis is described the history of region which the educational trails dealing with. The first of educational trails is a circuit which provides the visitors information about various kinds of mines and ore treatment. This circuit is physically less demanding and is therefore suitable also for smaller visitors. The second educational trail offers a lot of experience but it is also more demanding, this trail provides the information about mining water works. The processing of this trail is original and modern, with GPS navigation visitors passes the recommended stops. Visitors choose the route to these stops completely alone. In the GPS navigations are also the information about stops so we don't disturb the landscape with the building of information boards. The both of educational trails contain also stops dealing with living nature which is very preserved and protected in this part of Vysočina. Transport accessibility to the initial stops the both of educational trails is good due to that the initial stop of the circuit is in Jezdovice where the connection is done by trains or buses. In this place is also area suitable for parking cars. The initial stop of the second educational trail is near Lovětín where can the visitors come by car or by bus. This suggestion of educational trail also includes elaboration of financial demands and also possibility of financing. In this thesis are also mentioned possibilities of propagation. Realization of this suggestion at the time this thesis was finalized wasn't possible because of political leadership of Jezdovice.

The Role of a Nurse and Specific Nursing Care for Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery Procedures
BENDOVÁ, Miroslava
The overall development of scientific and technical disciplines has enabled the introduction of minimally invasive surgical techniques in cardiac surgery practice. Implementation of minimally invasive cardiac surgery brings many positive effects for patients and healthcare. At the same time, however, it requires for the nurses to have appropriate knowledge, skills and experience to effectively provide comprehensive nursing care. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. A total of four objectives were set. The first goal determines the specifics of nursing care of the patient before and after minimally invasive cardiac surgery. The second mapping the differences in nursing care in minimally invasive cardiac surgery from heart surgery classical approach. The third objective determines the role of nurses in patient awareness of minimally-invasive cardiac surgery. The fourth objective is focused on the needs and feelings of patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac surgery. The results of qualitative research showed that preoperative and postoperative nursing care for minimally invasive cardiac surgery is similar to nursing care before and after cardiac surgery by standard median sternotomy approach. Nurses often wipe away differences associated with nursing care of standard and minimally invasive surgery, differences arose mainly after analysis of the data obtained. The differences include shorter hospital stay, shorter duration of mechanical ventilation, lower incidence of postoperative confusion, differences in invasive inputs, rehabilitation and awareness. For the majority of respondents from the ranks of the patients minimally invasive heart surgery technique had clearly positive impact on their mental condition.
