Dissertation thesis deals with possibilities of incremental compiler construction. It represents the compiler construction possibilities for languages with a fixed set of lexical units and for languages with a variable set of lexical units, too. The methodology design for the incremental compiler construction is based on the known algorithms for standard compiler construction and derived for both groups of languages. The part focused on incremental compiling of common programming languages is based on a published methodology of incremental parser construction. The method uses syntax-directed translation scheme. The part focused on incremental compiling of languages with a variable set of lexical units is engaged in incremental compiler construction for on of the typical representantives, typographic system TeX. Unline the frontal compilation it is necessary to adapt the semantic actions to the incremental environment and bring additional information for their links to the appropriate location in the grammar rules. The thesis discusses the problem of the storage of information about current lexical units categories during the repeated compilation and it offers solutions. The thesis also describes the application of proposed methodology in the web application that is used for teaching the course Theory of programming languages at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno.

Mechanisms underlying the development of insulin resistance in liver steatosis
Papáčková, Zuzana ; Cahová, Monika (advisor) ; Macek Jílková, Zuzana (referee)
We tested the hypothesis that triacylglycerol (TAG) accumulation in the liver induced by short-term high-fat diet (HFD) in rats leads to the dysregulation of endogenous TAG degradation via lysosomal pathway and is causally linked with the development of hepatic insulin resistance. Lysosomal lipase (LAL) is stored in qualitatively different depots (light and dense lysosomes). In contrast to dense lysosomal fraction, LAL associated with light lysosomes exhibits high activity on intracellular TAG and prandial- or diet-dependent regulation. On standard diet, LAL activity was up-regulated in starved and down-regulated in fed animals. In the HFD group, we demonstrated elevated LAL activity, increased TAG content, enhanced production of diacylglycerol and the abolishment of prandial-dependent LAL regulation in light lysosomal fraction. The impairment of insulin signalling and increased activation of PKCε was found in liver of HFD-fed animals. Lipolysis of intracellular TAG, mediated by LAL, is increased in steatosis probably due to the enhanced formation of phagolysosomes. Consequent overproduction of diacylglycerol may represent the causal link between HFD-induced hepatic TAG accumulation and hepatic insulin resistance via PKCε activation.

Credit policy of Maxmilian II. (1564-1576) with special view to Bohemia
Chmelař, Jiří ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Šimek, Eduard (referee)
The Credit Policy of Maximilian II. (1564 - 1576) with special view to Bohemia is an overlooked theme. A1so whole personality of the emperor is in the shadow ofhis more known relations, the father Ferdinand 1. and the son Rudolf II. A last work, which was specialized in an economic and a credit policy, is over sixty years oldo Therefore I have to use foreign studie s, which are linked with the intemational project named A Financial and Economic Policy of the first Habsburgs. I have chosen this theme, because I had written a study about the king's credit policy in 1574 and 1575 in 2005. This study is divided into five parts, An Introduction, The Survey of Sources and Literatures, The Financial and Economic Policy, The Campaign in 1566, Eliška z Landštejna na Tuchorazi and Magdalena z Brodějovic as Examples of Creditors. The first expert chapter is The Financial and Economic Policy. In this issue I would like to introduce an administration of Maximilian' s revenues and expenses. I have given consideration to offices and officers, chamber' s possessions, credits, fiscal systems in the second part of the XVI.th century, a phenomenon of loan. I would like to give notice of elaborate lists of loans and creditors and a new detected chamber's instruction at 12. January 1571. The second chapter is based on a...

The Shared Steps of Lincomycine and Pyrrolo-benzodiazepine Biosynthetic Pathways.
Jiráčková, Petra ; Fišer, Radovan (referee) ; Janata, Jiří (advisor)
Lincomycin and its semi-synthetic derivate clindamycin are therapeutically used antibiotics inhibiting protein synthesis in sensitive bacteria. Their structure is composed of an amino-sugar and an amino-acid moiety, which are linked with an amide bond. Some time ago the sequence of lincomycin-production gene cluster was established and functions of the most proteins coded from gene cluster were proposed on the basis of a comparison with known proteins and gene-inactivations. For a long time it was clear that the amino-acid moiety of linkomycin (propylproline) is related to a dihydropyrrol moiety of pyrrolo[1,4]benzodiazepine (PBD). Both of these moieties are derived from L-tyrosine and they undergo the same biosynthetic pathway at first. But other biosynthetic steps divide. It is believed that a transfer of genes from the PBD-production gene cluster to the lincomycin-production gene cluster could modify the structure of propylproline and improve traits of lincomycin e.g. increase antimalaric effects. The most effective antibiotics are alkyl derivatives, their chemical synthesis is very complicated, but they could be prepared via genetic engineering as so-called hybrid antibiotics.

Effect of climbing ability on energy expenditure of climbing
Kodejška, Jan ; Baláš, Jiří (advisor) ; Malý, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of the study was to evaluate the relation between climbing performance and energy demands while climbing through a specific submaximal test. The sample consisted of twenty-six climbers (age 26,8 ± 3,3 years, weight 70,6 ± 6,2 kg, height 177,6 ± 6,5 cm). Climbers were deliberately chosen so that their performance covers as much scale difficulty of UIAA (Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme) as possible. The performance was given by the climbers currently the highest ascent in the style of RP (Red Point). Performance of these climbers ranged between 4 to 10 degrees UIAA. Climbers were subjected to submaximal climbing test, which lasted three minutes in one slope. They moved at a constant speed of 25 movements. min-1 on climbing route, already known in advance, the slope after 3 minutes changed from 90 ř to 105 ř. VO2 (oxygen consumption), SF (heart rate) and VE (minute ventilation) significantly correlated with climbing performance of RP (90ř, VO2, r = - 0,82; SF, r = -0,66, VE, r = - 0,77; 105ř, VO2, r = - 0,84; SF, r = -0,78; VE, r = - 0,80 ). Respiratory rate during submaximal climb was about 25 breaths. min-1, which refers to a link with a climbing speed. VO2 during submaximal climbing can be used to evaluate the economy of movement. Keywords sport climbing, submaximal test,...

Language and National Identity. The Case of Language Policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Kimáková, Barbora ; Barša, Pavel (advisor) ; Gladkova, Hana (referee)
The main objective of the thesis: "Language and National Identity. The Case of Language Policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina" is to demonstrate how language has been used as an instrument of national identity formation - ethnic or territorial - on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is achieved by the description of laws, foremost constitutions, concerning the use of language and by putting these laws into the context of the debate on the relationship between language and national identity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the principal assumptions in the thesis is that this debate is closely linked to a similar one which was developing in former (socialist) Yugoslavia and even in the 19th century. The thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter one introduces the theoretical framework for the description of the language-national identity relationship. It defines the concept of nation, nationalism and national identity, their division into ethnic and territorial and describes the influence of language on development of such identities, especially in the case of language-based ethnic nations. In such cases, the difference between the "Abstandsprachen" as "Ausbausprachen" and between the communicative and symbolic function of language are stressed. Finally, the concept of language policy and language...
