The open mobile phone platform
Malinčík, Ondrej ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this work is construction of mobile phone which can be build using com- ponents that are widely available. The concept allows control of mobile communication in GSM network on AT commands level. Energy saving is emphasised and alternative power source using solar cell is examined. Manufacturing data and docummentation is available for user.
Low Energy GSM/GPRS Module for Sensoric Applications
Pál, Tamás ; Mráz, Ľubomír (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This project deals with the problematics of self-powered universal GSM/GPRS module which is used for sensorical applications. The first part analyzes features of mobile networks and applying energy from the environment. The second section expalins the various parts and characteristic of their associated components together with some fundamental functions of the technology for possible realization of sensoric module. The third part describes plan for system realisation and fourth parth illustrates achiaved results.
Renewable energy souurce in Czech Republic
Sojka, Jiří ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Moskalík, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focusing on exploration of various renewable energy sources used in mass-energy in the Czech Republic. The first half of this thesis is focused to brief description of each renewable energy source. In the last part of this work was selected energy from biogas as the source of renewable energy to be more detailed described.
Energy from renewable sources and its storage
Navrátil, Ondřej ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Škvařil, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with renewable sources of energy and storage options. It is focused on electricity generation. There are presented types of renewable resources suitable for electricity production. The second part is an overview of all systems used for energy storage. In the conclusion is an assessment of renewable sources and a comparison of methods of energy storage.
Solar heating tap water
Kracík, Petr ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the heating of hot service water by means of solar energy through solar collectors. At the beginning the author describes the most frequent methods for heating of service water in Czech houses with the help of electrical energy, fossil fuel, gas and central heat supply, including the input expenses for buying equipment. The author describes a solar system and his basic elements and suggests two variants with supplement heating by means of electrical energy, which compares with electrical heating of service water. The overall thesis is conceived as a review of possibilities of heating hot service water in households with economical budget at the end of the work.
Heating and domestic hot water preparing in family house using solar collector
Langer, David ; Bečvář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Subject of this banchelor's thesis is to design a solar cell - warm water heating systém, which would be used for heating of water and of a family house. Summary of basic options of alternative resources for heating is included. The assesment of economic backflow, when using solar system in combination with other types of energy systems will be as well covered
Project of solar cell warm-water heating system for family house heat-water-supply.
Číp, Vojtěch ; Kermes, Vít (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
Subject of these work is project of solar cell warm-water heating system for family house heat-water-supply. Summary of basic improvement solar energy is included. There have been several possilble variants for water heating in house. Examination economic return after instalation solar system will be compare for these individual manners of heating.
The Business-Related and Logistical Challenges of Entering the African Solar Market. Illustrated on the Example of Solarity.
Widauer, Philipp ; Vinš, Marek (advisor) ; Kolář, Petr (referee)
The thesis evaluates the principal business-related and logistical opportunities and risks on the African solar market which is often associated to offer the last unexploited economic opportunities on this planet. For this purpose, the author examines three major African trade unions and reviews the strengths and weaknesses of each regional coalition. It becomes obvious that each respective trade bloc contains one dominant player, in this case Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. The practical section starts with an analysis of the appropriate entry market for the Czech solar wholesaler Solarity. Subsequently, the author identifies South Africa as the best fitting market primarily because of good infrastructure, high purchasing power and a similar business culture. The author recommends that Solarity should apply an exporting entry mode due to its size and inexperience on the African market. Secondary research, first-hand experience and close cooperation with Solarity support the author in his final conclusions.
Effect of changes in legislation on the profitability of business in solar energy
EIBLOVÁ, Pavla
The main goal of my bachelor work is the characteristic of photovoltaics (solar energy) and its legislation. In the first part I have studied information about photovoltaics in Czech Republic and information about the operation of solar power plants and its types of supporting. The main theoretical part of the thesis is the collection of all laws related to solar energy, including the interconnection of individual laws to others, especially to the standards set by the European Union. Furthermore, I will describe the development of legislation during the years 2010 - 2012, which will be viewed in chronological order and actually collected from various sources in the form of short messages or selected passages of law and adapted to an effective review. The goal of the practical part of the thesis is to introduce the concretely selected photovoltaic power plants and to determine the impact of the "solar tax" on their business. I have used the chosen methods of financial analysis, value and bankruptcy models and profitability to analyze the impact caused by the changes in legislation. Last part is dedicated to review the achieved results.
Současnost a budoucnost fotovoltaiky v České Republice z pohledu velké energetické společnost
Burianová, Eva ; Jaklová, Martina L. (advisor) ; Kubín, Petr (referee)
Goal of this thesis is to analyse sequence of events that led to current situation on the solar market in Czech Republic. Based on this analysis, current situation and scenarios for the near future from the point of view of large power utility company are described. For this aim, analysis of macro-environment is employed and focuses in detail on legislative and technological factors. Definition of possible scenarios starts with the description of current situation of saturated market. Solar power plants are then presented as reasonable equity investment from the point of view of large power utility company. Assumptions and entry data are described and the investment is evaluated using the net present value evaluation tool. For chosen entry parameters, sensitivity analysis is performed. This thesis then defines the situation when electricity produced from solar irradiation becomes competitive with other conventional sources.
