Synthesis and characterization of AibB8LysB28ProB29-insulin to study T a R conformations of insulin
Kosinová, Lucie ; Stiborová, Marie (advisor) ; Flegel, Martin (referee)
According to the International Diabetes Federation, there were 285 million people in the age from 20 to 79 years suffering from diabetes on the planet in 2010. This means diabetes has become a global epidemic so the importace of insulin research is still growing. Insulin is a protein hormone that plays a key role in regulating blood glucose level which has a widespread impact on the whole metabolism. Insulin acts through binding of its monomeric form to the insulin receptor. At present, however, the active monomeric structure of insulin is still unknown. It is clear that insulin monomer must undergo structural changes upon binding to the insulin receptor as the residues crucial for the interaction are burried within the native form. According to studies of highly active hormon analogs there is an ample evidence that the C-terminal part of the B-chain is a dynamic element in insulin activation and receptor binding. Probably, there is also great importance of the B-chain N- terminus and the transition between T and R conformation. However, the exact significance of the T and R states of insulin remains unclear. In this work, a new insulin analog AibB8LysB28ProB29-insulin was prepared for the purpose of studying significance of the T and R conformations of insulin and their relationship to the active...
Controlling of programmable analogue circuit
Sobotka, Josef ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This work deals with the design of the control software for the programmable analog circuit adjustable by means of a computer via the serial interface for the computer, as well as for programming the microcontroller. In addition, analyses the internal structure of programmable analog circuit on which it is proposed to further control, design of printed circuit boards for final programming and test equipment and measurement of the basic parameters of the circuit (transmission and phase frequency characteristics of parts and units).
Digital audio effects in FPGA chip
Dula, Přemysl ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of digital effects processor. Each chapter describes the distribution of analog and digital effects, the principle and description of effects that are implemented in the FPGA, the description of AD/DA converter and description of the program and its individual parts. The conclusion work contains a summary of undergraduate work.
Modernization of the master clock for slave clocks controlling
Pokorný, Jiří ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes modernization of the master clock HN 50 created by company ELEKON, s.r.o. Master clock can be used for controlling of analog or digital slave clock or for switching school bells. Exact differences between old and new version of the clock are described and ways of synchronization and controlling of slave clock are explained. Main goal of modernization is applying the SMT technology for automation of production. Another problems and shortcomings of previous version are developed, such as new power supply structure, selection of a new microcontroller and usage of several different displays. Every problem is developed and new solutions are chosen. Last part of the document describes the software which is clarified on several flowcharts. Outputs of the thesis are complete schematics, printed circuit boards and 3D models of the modernized device.
Signal and data logger
Borsányi, Tamás ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
The goal of this project is to design a signal and data logger, which captures analog and digital signals with very long record time. The device supports multichannel complex triggering, a real-time oscilloscope-like mode and an offline mode for analyzing of previously sampled data. This project contains detailed analysis of the topic, description of hardware and software solutions and used methods. The thesis also contains verification tests and measurements. This device will be mainly used for hardware debugging of microprocessor based applications.
Electronic system of language education laboratory
Skoumal, Martin ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
This work deals with the creation of electronically controlled audio system for the language classroom. Possible solutions compares analog and digital form. Furthermore, describes the final system that was designed. The resulting system is implemented by analog amplifiers and analog crosspoint matrix. Hardware control is realized by microcontroller and that is controlled from the computer.
Analog I/O card with Ethernet
Pelikán, Radek ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of my master‘s thesis was design of analog measuring card with generator and Ethernet interface, based on RCM3200 Rabbit Core module. I described this module, introduced the conception and the design of the measuring card. In appendix I stated design of schematic, design of board. I tested functionality of the measuring card.
Communication assembly for optical cableless linking
Kapuš, Martin ; Kovář, Jan (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Graduate Thesis is about communication module for optical wireless network. This device read data from RS232 port and two analog inputs and sends it through internet to a remote Computer. Furthermore allows voice communication between local user on module and user on remote computer. Device allows communication with standard headphones and microphone, or with Bluetooth handsfree. Basic part is microprocessor MCF5223 and Bluetooth Ezurio BISM II module. Control program has been written in C language. Printed circuit is created by EAGLE program. This device is managed via web interface and settings have been stored into EEPROM memory. Work contains description of separately parts and blocks, source code of program, description of source code and printed circuit designs.
Analýza modelu řízení železnice
Krénar, David
The text describes the management system model railroad. The work contains information on the technical management solutions, elements which are components of both the management and the model railroad. The work also contains information about the communication between these elements. The aim is to evaluate the current state management model railroad and propose any new technical or communication elements that could improve the model and create a simulation model railroad management in program Control Web 6.1.
