The Influence of Modern Passive Safety Features in the Protection of a Vehicle's Occupants
Vostrejž, Jan ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
Thesis in the field of passive safety problems, traffic accidents and health outcomes of participants in road traffic accidents is aimed, inter alia, to create an overview of modern passive safety elements especially cars. The work deals with elements of the passive safety system and the impact on the crew vehicle. It describes the principle of operation, especially airbags, safety belts, belt pretensioner and it includes solution of limiters tensioning force in the safety belt and other elements that have the task of reducing the consequences of a traffic accident. The use of modern elements of passive safety provides increased protection for the crew and eliminates the formation injuries crew. The technical issue is therefore closely related to the healthcare industry and in particular the Court of medicine in the field of personal injury in relation to the types and characters of incidents, or by applying of the safety elements. There are also shown the actual road accidents in which were killed or injured members of crew with an analysis of the mechanism of injury with the use or non-use of safety elements.
Case studies quantifying property damage through no fault of the carrier after a car accident
Svozil, Milan
The injured party is entitled to compensation for the overall financial damage which has been caused due to accidental traffic accident. Škoda presents any loss of property. This is not only true for the damage (the amount by which the value of assets decreased), but also lost profits. The injured party must realize all the damage and property losses to him in a traffic accident occurred and must be quantified and demonstrated. These damages are liquidated liability insurance of motor vehicles participant who caused the accident. In most cases, the injured party seeks, and consequently they are satisfied only with compensation for damage to the vehicle, where appropriate, the costs of recovering and towing the vehicle to the nearest workshop. Further compensation, arising from accidental traffic accident has damaged usually required, although these damages are often many times higher. For a complete liquidation of such damages no unified methodology and for this reason there is a problem situations in their quantification. Problem situations that may occur in the quantification of property damage carriers are addressed in the paper by illustrative case studies and presents a complete procedure for quantifying the overall carrier of property damage that may occur as a result of total damage to the trailer and damage to cargo carried.
Wind shear as a dangerous fenomenon in aviation
Novozámský, Adam ; Jebáček, Ivo (referee) ; Krška, Karel (advisor)
This thesis is about wind shear and its influence on aviation. There is wide theoretical description of wind shear and it’s implemented into aviation practice. There are also methods of observation, forecasting and reporting, for both pilots and meteorologist described. In this thesis, pilots can find useful recommendations for dealing with wind shear during the flight. Every reader can also read about famous aviation accidents and look at models of weather that caused those accidents. At the end of thesis there are analyses of a rawiosonde measurements related to wind shear reports. This whole thesis is focused on increasing awareness of wind shear in aviation from angle of view of both pilots and aviation meteorologist.
Human Factor in Aviation
Vaňourek, Jiří ; Chlebek, Jiří (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
Diploma work includes summary of aeroplanes accidents, incurred by human factor malfunction in general aviation and in ultralight aeroplanes category on Czech Republic territory since year 2000. It analyses accidents enclosures with a view to discover similarities near particular accidents. From ascertained lockworks ared proposal created for possibly steps, how prevent rise of these accidents. Part of this work are also attachments (formularies, etc.).
Automatic detector of vehicle road accicents
Žurek, Jan ; Morský, Ondřej (referee) ; Dostál, Otto (advisor)
This master‘s thesis treat of car safety. It includes an introduction into already existing active and passive safety systems and briefly describes their basic principles. It also includes a description of basic principles of car electronic systems. It will acquaint us also with elementary calculations in the area of car crashing into a solid obstacle. On base of this information was developed and consequently realized development module of an automatic car accident alarm that transfers information using SMS messages to a cell phone. The message contains date, time and GPS coordinates of the accident and acceleration sensor readings in three axes.
Road-accident investigation and evaluation critical places on urban area Brna
Holoubek, Vladimír ; Mika, Otakar Jiří (referee) ; Mašek, Ivan (advisor)
At first, the work focuses on the statical description of the condition of the highway and railway system in Brno and the South Moravian region. Above all, it focuses on the statistics of the accident frequency, the intensity of transportation and the trucking traffic flows. In its analytical parts, it computes, from the available statical datas and the condition of highways, frequent sections of the accident frequency, dangerous places and the most used routes of the freights of dangerous chemical substances and detergents. The work evaluates the jeopardy for the inhabitants and the environment.
Risk analysis working environment in tutorial chemical laboratories
Křištof, Adam ; Mika, Otakar Jiří (referee) ; Mašek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is aimed at the risk analysis and following of statutory rules valid for work in the training chemical laboratories Faculty of Chemistry Brno University of Technology. For assessment I have used own judgement based on the work during concrete laboratories, and at the following study were used guidance documents.
Risks connected with the release of radioactive substances during transports to nuclear medicine workplace.
HELEŠIC, Jiří
This thesis deals with analysis and evaluation of risks associated with the release of radioactive materials during the transport, eventual accidents and radiation load handling throughout the all transport chain to nuclear medicine workplace in relation to current legislation and technical support for the transported substances. The theoretical part is focused on describing the current state of these issues, the reasons for using the radionuclides in the Czech Republic, their transport and description of legislation associated with that all. The research part shows the analysis of the health risks of people who might come in contact with the release of radioactivity. Then the analysis solves such consequences. In this work we mapped out the production and use of artificial radionuclides, modes of transportation and its technical security and handling of radionuclides during the transport. We also present the research in some possible accident during the transport. As well as emergency readiness and procedures of the Integrated Rescue System. In discussion there are throughout the commentary compared the following: determined state laws transport safety, radiation burden and risks of transports. In conclusion we found out that the level of legislation and the radiation burden is at an acceptable level. The work comes with its own proposal for improving transportation safety of radionuclides in the Czech Republic and that is to introduce the rights-of-way to vehicles described above.
Analysis of the causes of driver error negotiations leading to the emergence of an accident
ŠORTNER, Milan
This thesis is the current stat of research on Czech roads. The main task was to find the major cause of errors in the drivers` conduct of operations. The analysis is focused on the impact of 4 categories: environmental impact, the impact of the car, the influence of work on human behavior and influence the very man to his work activities were the cause further specified. In my research is also included a questionnaire, whose job is to summarize the views of drivers, both men and women of the current situation. The analysis of individual factors were designed as field measurements, with emphasis placed on selected offenses against the rules. This was particularly aimed at measuring the impact of work performed by humans in these respects: respect the maximum speed limit, failing to stop at places where it's due to traffic signs, and use of safety belts by the driver of the vehicle. The influence of environment was tested, as well as the suitability of sites dealing with traffic, especially pedestrian crossings. The influence of people itself is then characterized in the next section. The analytical part has the task to summarize and compare data obtained from measurements, which are listed in the Experimental section. The conclusion is a list of recommendations for individual areas, which should bring improvements to the current situation.
Analysis of Man as Element of Accident System in Traffic
