Czech and Moravian wines and their import and export

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to analyze the Czech and Moravian wines and describe their position on the Czech market. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter contains basic information about the wine (history, wine distribution, factors affecting the taste and quality of the wines and procedure for assessing the quality of wine). The second chapter deals with the main wine regions in the Czech republic. In the last chapter is analysed foreign trade in wine. This part provides information mainly about consumption and wine production and evaluation of the import and export.

PaedDr. Eva Šotolová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: Our aim is to introduce Romani as a language which should obtain a firm position at a school area. To define its functions in a connection with acquired status, which as valid arguments will even strengthen its position. We will acquaint with successful projects for the support of the endangered dialects of Romani realized in Finland, Austria, Romania, with the support of the variety of Baltic and Russian Roma, but also of the Spanish Para-Romani variety called "Caló". Another aim is by the way of studies of specialized foreign literature, systematical search and analysis of documents and following analysis of obtained data describe particularity of educational approaches in individual countries with regard to the culture specificity of heterogeneous groups of Roma. To highlight approaches which would be possible apply to different cultural background, to provide a source of inspiration and valuable experiences with the realization of supporting projects and measures in education of Roma, finally to express general principles, indispensable for its successful realization. Perspecitve of Czech-Vietnamese economic relations with looking on cultural differences

In the first chapter basic information about Vietnam such as natural determinats, population, history and economic situation is described. Next chapter contains detailed description of political, economic and cultural Czech-Vietnamese relations. The conception of export support for years 2006-2010 is clarified in chapter three. The next chapter analyses Vietnamese enterprise environment and atmosphere for foreign direct investment. Last chapter describes Vietnamese culture and bussines negotioations between Czech and Vietnamese partners.

Trends and role of foreign direct investment in the world economy: change the position of the EU?

The thesis discusses the roles and trends of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the world and in the European Union. Refers to the changing trends in FDI in each peri-od, describes the size of volumes and dynamics of FDI, territorial and sectoral structure and finally deals with finding the influencing factors. The work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the theory of direct FDI, the second chapter describes the flows of FDI in the world and the third chapter in the scale of the European Union. The last chapter deals with flows of FDI in the world in 2012, including the outlook for the future in the medium term and current investment strategies of the European Union.

CIENCIALA, R.: Extending arbitration clause on third parties in (international) commercial arbitration - selected issues in comparison of international arbitration practice and Czech law; doctoral thesis ABSTRACT The purpose of my doctoral thesis is to analyse in the context of the (international) commercial arbitration whether at all, and if so under what conditions can an arbitration agreement be extended on third parties as its non-signatories - i.e., parties who have actually not undersigned the said agreement. The thesis is based on a critical analysis thereof by evaluating the selected and relevant case-law, both judicial and arbitral, and the key legal jurisprudence in comparison of the international arbitration practice and Czech law. The thesis consists of nine main chapters. After the introduction of the subject-matter (first chapter), I focus on a fundamental basis thereof - i.e., the doctrine of separability of an arbitration agreement from the underlying contract (second chapter), followed by a thorough analysis of a selected theoretical conceptions concerning the extension of arbitration agreement on third parties (third to seventh chapter). Historical Overwiev of F1 Chassis and Engines Evolution

This thesis is focused on the overwiev of main periods in the area of race car construction development. In the first chapter, main attention is dedicated to Formula One cars, attending races since 1950. In spite of this, there is briefly noted the technological development before FIA Formula One Championship. Next chapter is dealing with technical restrictions and regulations restraining construction of Formula One car. Data are situated in the table, ascending sequenced according to the year. Next part refers to the actual Fia Formula One Championship season 2008. There is abstract of technical regulations and the list of actual Formula One teams, their cars and drivers. There is some pages acting with one of the Formula One team. In the last chapter some of technological experiments are presented.

More specifically, the thesis focuses on the categorization of jazz music and appreciation of jazz music. The text contains a detailed analysis of selected award-winning instrumental jazz albums, history and development of the genre of jazz and its influence on popular music from. In the last chapter of the thesis concerns the difference between the American and European jazz and also contains a detailed list of awarded jazz instrumental album.

Application of linear and nonlinear volatility models for Czech open-end-funds and shares analysis

Cílem této doktorské práce je analýza chování vybraných českých otevřených podílových fondů a akcií. Podílové fondy si od druhé poloviny 90. let získávají v České republice stále větší oblibu. Do konce roku 2006 dosáhl objem investic do podílových fondů 150 miliard korun. Empirická studie se věnuje třem typům podílových fondů: akciovým, dluhopisovým a peněžním a akcie. Denní hodnoty cen byly získány z internetových stránek správců fondů a RM-systému. Sledované období začíná 1.1.2001 a končí 31.12.2005. Akcie a podílové listy mají odlišné principy formování ceny. Zatímco ceny akcií se vytváří interakcí nabídky a poptávky na akciovém trhu, u podílových listů je cena odvozena z celkové hodnoty aktiv fondu. Vliv trhu není u podílových fondů významný, protože nabídka podílo-vých listů je téměř neomezená. Navíc jsou aktiva podílového fondu tvořena řadou rozdílných investičních nástrojů jako jsou české a zahraniční akcie, dluhopisy, pokladniční poukázky, instrumenty peněžních trhů atd. Zjištění, zda časové řady fondů mají i za těchto předpokladů stejné vlastnosti jako řady akcií a zda je pro jejich modelování vhodné použít modely vytvo-řené pro akcie, burzovní indexy nebo směnné kurzy, je hlavním tématem této práce. Pozornost je věnována nepodmíněnému rozdělení výnosů logaritmů cen podílových listů. Metodou maximální věrohodnosti jsou odhadnuty parametry teoretických rozdělení a poté je testována jejich shoda s rozdělením výnosů. Další rozdělení zmiňovaná v souvislosti s nepodmíněným rozdělením finančních časových řad jsou zmíněna v teoretické části. K mo-delování podmíněné střední hodnoty je využito modelů typu AR, k modelování podmíněného rozptylu pak lineárních modelů ARCH, GARCH a GARCH-M a nelineárních modelů typu GRJ-GARCH a EGARCH. Další modely volatility jsou popsány v jedné z úvodních kapitol. Skupina nelineárních modelů je do analýzy zahrnuta za účelem hledání ?pákového efektu?. Lineární model GARCH-M popisuje přímé působení podmíněného rozptylu časové řady na její podmíněnou střední hodnotu. Vzhledem k prokázané nenormalitě rozdělení reziduí, ne-jsou splněny počáteční podmínky modelů časových řad. Vhodnější modely lze získat změnou předpokladu o rozdělení nesystematické složky na GED nebo Studentovo t rozdělení. Na zá-kladě porovnání prostřednictvím informačních kritérií a u příbuzných modelů testem věrohodnostním poměrem je pro každou časovou řadu nalezen nejvhodnější model, který slouží k popisu jejích vlastností a v praxi může být využit i k předpovědi dalšího vývoje, v analýze Value at Risk nebo k popisu vývoje rizikovosti fondu. V závěru jsou popsány zjiš-těné společné a rozdílné vlastnosti podílových fondů a akcií a doporučení pro modelování těchto časových řad.
