Smékalová, Petra ; Řehula, Milan (advisor) ; Špaček, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis deals with the characterisation of a specific compression process by monitoring the viscoelastic properties of pressed material. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the substances - microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate. It also describes methods for the assessment of tablet viscoelasticity using the force-displacement diagram and factors influencing the viscoelasticity of tablets. The aim of the experimental part of the work is to characterise the viscoelastic properties of microcrystalline cellulose as well as a mixture of microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate lubricant of various lubricant concentrations using the force-displacement diagram and calculation of tablet relaxation. Tablets were pressed from a mixture of aggregates of microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate lubricant using a T1-FRO 50 machine at 11 molding pressures in the range of 1,9 -113,0 MPa with lubricant concentration in the range of 0 % - 2,50 %. The height and diameter of each tablet were measured immediately after pressing and the measurements were repeated 24 hours later. Measurements determined viscoelastic parameters E1, E2, E3, Elis, and P1, and the volumes of the tablets, both at time 0 and after 24 hours. The result of the study was to determine the effect of...

Analýza akciového titulu ČEZ
Prokop, Martin ; Veselá, Jitka (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to briefly describe the principles of fundamental analysis and, at the same time, to provide a simple guidance to be used by investors when assessing the shares. Within the framework of global analysis such individual macroeconomic quantities are defined that can influence the development of the ČEZ Company. The power of their impact on the shares is calculated by way of correlation coefficients. In sectoral analysis the position of ČEZ Company is described not only on the Czech but also on foreign markets. Attention is also focussed on different types of regulations and provisions that are characteristic for the energy market. In this part individual methods are described and the information items and data defined that are necessary for the assessment; at the same time these data are used for the calculation proper of the internal value of shares.

Nucleation of quantum dots
Kulveit, Jan ; Polák, Karel (referee) ; Demo, Pavel (advisor)
Quantum dots are increasingly important in many fields of science. Aminy other methods, quantum dots can also be formed by nucleation processes. In present work we study early stage of nucleation in NaCl and KCl crystals doped with PbCl2. Defect energies of small Pb clusters were calculated using numerical lattice methods. In NaCl-Pb system most stable small clusters have planar structure in {1; 1; 1}Na host lattice plane and intermittent planar phase nucleates. In contrast in KCl-Pb system small clusters with Suzuki phase structure are most stable and Suzuki phase nucleates. Formation of Suzuki phase hinders further transition to stable structure. These results of computer simulation are in agreemend with experimentally observed differences in KCl-Pb and NaCl-Pb systems behavior.

Renovation of municipality office
John, Josef ; Klubal, Tomáš (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the reconstruction of the Adamov municipality, based on a solution of barrier-free building use, overall improvement of the energy performance of the building and creation of new office spaces in the form of a loft. The object is located on a building site in the town Adamov. The object is currently connected to a III. road, parking space and utilities. It is a building with three above-ground floors and one basement floor. The ground plan of the municipality is rectangle-shaped, the maximum outline dimensions of the rectangle are 28.38 x 16.70m. Existing vertical supporting constructions are mason made of fired bricks. The roof frame structure is made of wood, construction framework stagnant stool, fired tiles are used as roofing. Floor surfaces are formed by ceramic tiles or vinyl. The entrance part is covered with a flat roof. The entrance area will be redesigned as a barrier-free, with a connection to the elevator that goes through the entire object. The sanitary facilities in the first and in the second floor will be renovated. Newly created attic floor will be – except for the lift - connected to the interior of the building by a new steel staircase and the walls on this floor will be of a light type. Holes fillings will be changed in the perimeter walls. A thermal insulation of the entire object by a contact heating system will take place. This thesis consists of preparatory work and studies, implementing documentation, text reports, calculations of the thermal technical assessment and fire safety solutions. Project documentation is made in accordance with currently valid laws, regulations and standards.

Possibilities of thorium utilization in current NPPs
Svoboda, Josef ; Praze, Jan Prehradný, ÚE FS ČVUT v (referee) ; Katovský, Karel (advisor)
Nuclear power plants provide about 11 percent of the world's electricity production. For fission process is uranium fuels used with varying percentage of enrichment 235U for most of nuclear reactors. Uranium reserves are reducing and their mining cost increases. Therefore, the thorium fuel is discussed as revolution fuel for current and future nuclear power plants. This diploma thesis deals with possibility of thorium fuel utilization at various types of nuclear reactors with a focus on light water reactors. The practical part of the thesis is focused on simulation and calculations of various uranium dioxide and thorium dioxide layers at the fuel rods. Model of WWER 440 reactor was developed for the calculations with the addition of thorium fuel. The model simulates burning out of fuel for 5 years, with monitoring of fuel behavior and tracking changes of each material. The thesis tries to define the suitable ratio and parameters of layers combination of uranium and thorium fuel. For these ratios and parameters the thesis tries to give sufficient amount of computational analyzes.

The spatial examination of indebtedness in European companies in a year 2006
Wiedová, Zuzana ; Marek, Petr (advisor) ; Makovec, Martin (referee)
The content of this work is the spatial examination of indebtedness in european countries in a zdar 2006 and also zdar 2005 on purpose of reciprocal comparism.Used indicators of financial analysis are: debt ratio, interest cover and average period of maturity of credit. They are calculated for an individual industry, state and the European union. The values of indebtedness indicators founded in the European union are on the standard level. The comparison between years 2005 and 2006 revealed the improvement of each indicator except from average period of maturity of credit, the value of this indicator grew up because companies took more credits. The most indebted states are Italy, Spain, Greece, on the other hand the lowest indebtedness is in Sweden, Poland and also in the Czech republic. The best industry is CA - Mining and quarrying of energy producing materiále and the worst is B -- Fishing. The hypothesis of dependence between the averadge indebtedness of companies and the deficit/GDP of native state was improved.
