Single-dose food supplementation of creatine (5 g of creatine per day), commonly used by sportsmen, affects their metabolism of thiocompounds and of some compounds in blood and in urine, the metabolism of which is connected with the synthesis of creatine or with its usage in the body. In blood the levels of folates, vitamin B12, homocysteine, triacylglycerols, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and HDL cholesterol, uric acid, cortizol, and testosterone were followed. In urine the changes in levels of creatine, creatinine, thiodiglycolic acid (TDGA), and pH were followed. The results were accomplished by data of bioimpedance measurements (body mass, muscle mass, body fat, intra- and extracellular fluids, total body water content, protein content, fitness score). It was found that according to the changes in creatine levels before and after administration of creatine in course of one month, it was possible to divide the subjects under study into four groups.

MACÁLKOVÁ, Dana
This bachelor thesis deals with humanitarian aid provided to people in emergencies. It concerns a short-term material and logistical assistance provided from humanitarian sources. The basic objective of the assistance is saving human lives, providing basic human needs such as food, shelter and sanitary conditions. There are several forms of providing humanitarian assistance. The usual form of such is of a material nature. Among the best known providers are Administration of State Material Reserves, central storehouses of Firefighters Corps, assistance from regions and municipalities, non-governmental, non-profit organizations and assistance from business people and individuals. In order to receive a material aid, we have to be adequately prepared for it. Another from of assistance is of a financial nature which is the most attractive; affected communities buy material they really need. The goal of this thesis was to devise a system and procedures during receipt and distribution of humanitarian aid in communities affected by an emergency situation. Questionnaires sent out to municipalities with extended powers in South Bohemia region served as a methodology for processing. The aim of the questionnaire was to find out the conditions for securing the acceptance, distribution and storing humanitarian aid in relevant municipalities, securing alternative or emergency accommodation for inhabitants from municipalities affected by an emergency situation. A concrete proposal was suggested in the municipality of Veselí nad Lužnicí where I devised a safe location for storerooms and a base for humanitarian aid. Space serving as a storage place is designed in a way to meet all conditions needed for both personnel in charge of receipt and evidence of humanitarian aid, and for proper storage of material and handling equipment. The obtained results showed that the relevant municipalities are sufficiently and materially prepared for receipt and distribution of humanitarian aid and they have an alternative accommodation ready for affected inhabitants.

PILZOVÁ, Jana
Loss of vision or a severe sight injury means a very significant change in the life of the affected person. Compensatory aids play in important part in incorporating thus handicapped people into all varieties of social life. Nowadays people with serious sight handicap can choose from many compensatory aids, optical and non-optical ones. A guiding dog is one of many possible compensations of visual defect or seriously injured eyesight. For a guiding dog to become an approved compensatory aid according to Act n. 100/1998 Sb. further specified by regulation 182/1991 Sb. two basic conditions must be fulfilled. Firstly, the dog must pass a special training with a final test and secondly the applicant must be eligible to using a dog as a compensatory aid. The paper aims at providing an illustrative outline of the most typical situations concerning owners of guiding dogs in South Bohemia. During the research the author encountered many difficulties. One of which was the lack of unity of provided services by individual organizations dealing with training of guiding dogs. The greatest differences occurred in the service when handing over the dog (the extant and details concerning documentation of the dog, the health card, the extant of information for the future owner) and in the following service when a problem arises. To fulfill the aim of the present paper a Form for semidirected interview was created, which contains 4 fields (identification data, acquisition, possession and the use of the guiding dog). The semi directed interviews were aimed at the owners of the guiding dogs. There are 27 guiding dogs in South Bohemia. The greatest number of guiding dogs is in the district of Jindřichův Hradec. The author presumes that this paper will help potential clients to orientate themselves in claiming a compensatory aid-the guiding dog. The paper is further conducted as an orientation aid for administration workers of municipal authorities with extended powers.
