Modelem řízená realizace prezentační vrstvy softwarových aplikací
Kryštof, Jan
In recent years, several approaches dealing with modeling of user interfaces and related interaction have been proposed. These model artifacts can, in some cases, be used for further development and therefore they can be utilized in both design and implementation phases. Model data are recorded in a graphical or text representation which also determines possibilities of a consequent utilization. Several criteria can be used to judge model notations suitability. Focusing on the criteria of interoperability can highlight that most approaches do not reach satisfactory level. The optimal level is reached by the approaches based on graphical notation of UML. However, the usability of those models is rather low in the implementation phase, where text based notations are more appropriate. This thesis deals with the contemporary notations for modeling graphical user interfaces in software applications and introduces a new approach which employs the UML in order to create models. These models are appropriate for both the design and implementation phases. The center core of this work deals with a proposal of an interaction model, which can be used as an alternative to current approaches based on text notation and can be utilized for tasks of code generation for an arbitrary presentation framework. The interaction model consists of a presentation model and a task action model. The presentation model can be used for generation of containment hierarchy and layout of user interface components, while the task action model enables to generate XML compliant descriptor for dynamic flow control. This work also deals with a construction of MB-UIDE, which is realized as an extension of an adaptive UML compliant modeling tool. This way of obtaining the MB-UIDE represents an easy and cheap way how to manage the interaction model and support its integration with models of another layers in software architecture.

Utilisation of EU Funds to Finance Project: Providing Access to Brno's Underground
Sedlák, Tomáš ; Zezulková, Marie (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is dealing with utilization of EU funds to finance a project Providing access to Brno’s underground. Possibilities of utilization EU funds are written in theoretical part. Present situation of Statutory city of Brno is found in practical part. As the result, the alternative way to finance this project is proposed and recommendation for city of Brno is made at the conclusion.

Angular velocity measurement with fiber optic interferometer
Skalský, Michal ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with general theoretical description, design and construction of sensor of angular velocity based on Sagnac interferometer, or interferometric fiber-optic gyroscope. The theoretical part is focused firstly on explanation of basic principles and finding important formulas. Secondly, some state-of-the-art configurations of the fiber-optic gyroscope and their differences are analysed. Limiting factors and parasitic effects are also described. Attention is also paid to properties and suitability of particular optical components. The practical part especially deals with an utilization of common low-birefringent optical fiber in an fiber-optic gyroscope. Firstly, some basic properties of components and the simplest configurations of gyroscope were tested. They provided an important knowledge for design of final solution working in an open loop configuration with phase modulation. Further, specific components used in this demonstration sensor and its construction are described in more detail. Designed gyroscope utilizes all-fiber components made of common low-birefringent fiber so this solution is unexpensive. It uses an unpolarized light and depolarizer to ensure stability. Another specificity is a light source using spontaneous emission of erbium-doped fiber. Finally, some basic parameters of designed gyroscope acquired by measurement as well as record of calibration are stated.

Rainwater-treatment and rainwater utilization
Štefek, Miroslav ; Kárník, Jan (referee) ; Štigler, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is developing searches which are focused to treatment with rainwater and it's next utilization. We can find general information about situation in Czech Republic in this work and we can also read about products for rainwater treatment which are available in the market. There is a calculation for house too where we can see if it is advantageous step if we'll purchase rainwater treatment products.

Utilization of Complex SW Products during Preparation and Construction of Building Object
Popílková, Kateřina ; Aigel, Petr (referee) ; Hanák, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the master´s thesis is to analyze the current state of software products used in construction. The thesis is specifically focused on software products to support the preparation and realization of building object. Specifically, the thesis deals with software: KROS plus, BUILDpower, GALA. Analyzed and compared to their complexity, functionality, and that the resulting strengths and weaknesses.

Utilization of ARM GCC toolchain
Ledvina, Jan ; Matěj, Zdeněk (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to study the existing development toolchain for the microprocessor LPC23xx in course MPOA. Main goal is to explore the feasibility of new development toolchain, based on the GCC. The outcomes of this thesis are demo applications with the microprocessor LPC2378 and the GCC. Parts of the outputs are also tutorials for the students, how to implement these demo applications. The demos include basic applications, RTOS and Ethernet

Possibilities of Drawing the Grants from the Funds of the EU and Their Realization in Selected Communes in the South Bohemia - a Case Study
REISCHLOVÁ, Kateřina
This work includes a basic outline and introduction into the EU regional policy problematic. This theoretic background is then transferred into the practical part of this paper, where the author presents an overview of grant systems (both the EU´s and national programs) and their utilization in two south bohemian cities ? Český Krumlov and Hluboká nad Vltavou. First, the cities are shortly characterized and later a comprehensive briefing of the national and EU´s grants is described, especially within the 2004-2009 period. The collected data clearly show the fact, that during the whole period, Hluboká nad Vltavou managed to acquire 6 mil. Kč more from the EU´s resources, than Český Krumlov did. This conclusion is highly interesting, since Český Krumlov is by far a larger city, compared to Hluboká nad Vltavou. This proves that the acquisition of the EU donations is significantly dependent on administrative or project skills of the given cities. The difference in these skills has projected in the grant-success percentage of both cities, while Český Krumlov received only 30% of requested donations, Hluboká nad Vltavou reached almost 60% rate. Based on this outcomes of the two cities and their EU donations, it is evident, that the 2000-2006 period was fairly poor, while this trend has started to change significantly between 2007 and 2010. This work concludes that the rate of grant requests is rapidly increasing as the EU moves towards the closure of the second program period in 2013, which mean the end for the grant system whatsoever.

Construction and Realisation of Function Generator and its Application
CHALOUPEK, Pavel
This work contains problems of generators of a waveform signal. There is described a principle of a generator of a waveform signal, its circuits, its principle, a signal shaping, and its eventual utilization. Then there is created a design of a circuit of a realized generator and subsequently a practical realization of the generator of a waveform signal, its construction, its activation, its setting up and a measuring of output parameters. In conclusion there is mentioned an utilization of the realized generator in a laboratory work and an application of this work including a setting and a resolution of the laboratory work for pupils of secondary schools.

The Utilization of the European Social Fund in the Czech Republic
