The effect of changes in the character of social benefit childbirth on development of natality in 2007-2012

The subject of the thesis is "The effects of changes in the character of social benefit childbirth on development of natality in 2007-2012". Childbirth is state social support, which is provided to women who gave birth to a child or who have taken child into kustody replacing parent´s care. Natality is demographic indicator that indecates the numer of births in a given period in a population. The theoretical part drala with history and development of childbirth and natality. This section was prepared on the basis of legislation, scientific literature and internet resources. Is explained here position of childbirth within the social security system and within the state social support, described legislative changes in character of social benefit childbirth from its introduction to present, economic costs to the childbirth. There is also described definition of natality, population policy, development of natality in Czech republic and prognosis of development for the future. In the practical part of the study, quantitative research was conducted, the task of which was to confirm or refute the pre-defined hypothese. On the the selected techniques of the research was the analysis of documents, and in its context, a secondary data analysis. There were used legislation, the statistics of the Czech Statistical Office and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs CR. The second technique was a questionnaire. There were 237 valid response. The results were analyse and processed using tables and graphs. Research has shown that natality in the Czech Republic in the years 2007-2012 responds to changes in the amount of the childbirth. A questionnaire survey did not meaning that the amount of the childbirth is higher with decreasing income families.

Financial Analysis of the company Pivovary Staropramen, a.s.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to assess the financial health of Pivovary Staropramen a. s. and see how the company was working from 2007 to 2009, which is based on methods and indicators used in financial analysis. The theoretical and methodological part provides basic information about the financial analysis, its resources and users. Furthermore, this section explains the different parameters and methods used to evaluate its management. Based on the formulas given in the theoretical and methodological part, the practical part evaluates and comments on the different parameters needed for evaluating the overall financial situation of the company and also the results are compared with those achieved by the competitors. The conclusion summarizes the results of the indicators and comments on the overall financial situation of the company and its management.

Evaluation of the Technical State of Water Treatment Plants

The subject of this thesis is to create evaluation criteria of technical condition of water treatment plants. The thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part of this thesis are presented evaluation systems by performance indicators drinking water treatment plants, which are then applied in real time. There are detailed descriptions of individual performance indicators. Each evaluation conducted certain period of time. After the expiry of the period under review was to evaluate and create charts to display results. In the next chapter the thesis focuses on the identification data. First, it was necessary to find out all necessary information about the water treatment plant. Necessary information means information relating to building construction, human resources, mechanical parts, technological equipment and other entities with links to the operation of the water treatment plant. All these data were sorted for better overview and facilitate setting evaluation indicators. The third part of this thesis is focused on the development of indicators that are used to determine the current status of the water treatment plant. As a first step was established 19 indicators used to evaluate the condition of the entire water treatment plant. Followed by a description of the individual indicators and then determine the individual evaluation criteria. In the last part of this thesis was carried out by the proposed criteria on selected water treatment plants. They were selected three water treatment plants located in the Czech Republic, which held a personal tour of each water treatment plant. This was followed by an overall assessment of the technical condition of water treatment plants.

Evaluated the utility of prestice black-pied pig

Objective of this work was evaluate the reproductive utility qualities of the sows of prestice black-pied pig of basic herd, respectively nucleus herd reared at the farm Mladotice and these indicators compare with other breeds in the Czech Republic. The main endpoints were the number of all born piglets, number of alive born piglets, number of weaned piglets and milk production in twenty days of age piglets. Special attention was dedicate lines of representation boar. The paper describes the characteristics of prestice black-pied breed with reference on its typical breed character, such as tilted ear and typical black-pied coloring without defining body parts for white and black. The study also introduces emergence of breed, prestice black-pied regeneration process where were used breeds of mirgorodské, livenské, wessex saddleback and essex. Regeneration process led to establishing lines Aron, Vojta, Střelák, Filip, Ríša, Flak, Silar and Titus. After the regeneration was performed improvement, above all pietrain breed. The work describes prestice black-pied breed´s utility. At reproductive utility is paid attention to great maternal qualities, at productive it is quality of the muscle. The study give an account of genetic resources conservation with summarising numerical status of prestice black-pied breed in the Czech Republic since 2002 to 2014.

Experience with Using EIR for Research Evaluation

This post introduces basic applications of electronic information resources for research evaluation in terms of bibliometrics, ie quantitative methods of data analysis. Current research information systems (CRIS) and commercial citation databases contain information useful for evaluating individual scientists, scientific institutions and organizations, but also the entire scientific disciplines or regions in the global comparison. Information obtained by the analysis of stored data – bibliographic records or citation relationships between them can say something about the evaluated unit rated in terms of numbers of scientific impact and partly quality (measured by citation rate) of various kinds of scientific results and their share in domestic or global production. The most interesting information can be provided by citation data. It is also possible to focus on research field or current topics by keywords analysis. We can get a view on international network of scientists by analyzing the author's cooperation.

Návrh a implementace finančních ukazatelů v retailovém bankovnictví

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám návrhem a implementací ukazatelů v retailovém bankovnictví. Mým hlavním cílem je vybrat a implementovat ze širokého okruhu ukazatelů v retailovém bankovnictví ty, které mohou přispět k co nejefektivnějšímu plánování a rozhodování v bance. Práce vychází z oblasti Business Intelligence a zabývá se konkrétními ukazateli, dimenzemi a jejich vazbami na principech multidimenzionality. Na základě interních a externích zdrojů a požadavků jednotlivých oddělení retailové banky pak navrhuji datový model. Pomocí nástrojů MS SQL 2005 je pak tento model implementován. Následně postupně vytvářím a naplňuji Data Mart, procesuji OLAP kostku a zobrazuji výsledné reporty pomocí příslušných nástrojů. Smyslem této práce je přispět ke zvýšení důvěry v měsíčně generované ukazatele a jejich využívání při taktickém a strategickém plánování a rozhodování. Data Mart je dále možno využít k provádění ad hoc dotazů. Spolupráce na návrhu ukazatelů pak vede mezi jednotlivými odděleními v bance k efektivnější komunikaci. Data Mart zároveň sjednocuje data do faktové a několika dimenzionálních tabulek, tím pádem následné dotazy nad ním nekladou vysoké nároky na server. V první části práce definuji cíle, výstupy a přínosy práce. Pokračuji s popisem příslušných pojmů, zejména z oblasti Business Intelligence, na které je následně aplikována praktická část práce. V další části je pak vytvořen seznam ukazatelů použitelných pro oblast retailového bankovnictví s rozdělením do několika kategorií. Z tohoto celku ukazatelů vybírám ukazatele použitelné pro tuto retailovou část banky a vytvářím datový model. V následující kapitole tento model implementuji, přičemž výstupy jsou postupně Data Mart v relačním databázovém prostředí, OLAP kostka v multidimenzionální prostředí a v neposlední řadě výstupy analýz ve formě reportů.

HR Controlling in organization

The present diploma thesis deals with HR controlling, which represents an effective way for organizations to monitor and assess quantitative and qualitative indicators. HR controlling is an efficient means of demonstrating the contribution of HR managers not only to their departments but also to the overall aims of organizations. The first part of the thesis defines basic theoretical prerequisites concerning the importance of HR management in organization efficiency, the HR system and HR controlling. The analytical part of the thesis begins with the presentation of the BUZULUK, a.s. company. The principal part of the thesis is comprised of a situational analysis, the definition of the needs of internal HR department customers and a new conception of personal indicators. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the present approach of the BUZULUK, a.s. company to efficiency assessment in the field of human resources and, based on this, to propose a system of efficiency indicators, which might ultimetely help the implementation of HR controlling in the aforementioned company.

Analysis of the APR for consumer credits

The thesis is focused on analysis of consumption credits, which are provided by banking and non-banking providers. The work contains theoretical and legislative resources mainly for the pointer annual percentage rate, because the APRC should be the main compartive standard for consumers. The thesis contains comparison of consumer credits of several providers from the czech credit market. The overall evaluation of situation on market and recommendations for consumers are also included.

The personal motives of people to search for unconventional ways of treatment

In my bachelor thesis, I focused on searching for possible motives of people looking for the unconventional ways of the treatment. The aim of the study was to map these reasons, to find out why these people feel the need to amend the classical medicine or to completely divert away from it. The thesis has been divided into a theoretical and a research part. In the theoretical part, I deal with the scientific medicine, its history, successes, but also difficulties. Moreover, I describe some of the principles of the unconventional treatment methods and their reasons of existence, according to various authors. In the research part, the participating respondents are briefly characterized and their motives to search for unconventional treatment modalities are described. The selection of the research sample was carried out among the clients and therapists of alternative medicine using the ``snowballing{\crqq} method. To obtain the necessary data, the method of qualitative research, namely a semi-structured questionnaire method, was used. The obtained data were processed using the qualitative analysis. The outcome of the analysis of the responses is determination of the motives that people have to search for unconventional ways of treatment. Some of the reasons were identical among clients and therapists {--} ineffectiveness of the classical medicine, inconvenient pharmacotherapy, searching for the holistic approach, active attitude towards one{\crq}s health, searching for responsibility to oneself, unsatisfactory doctor-patient relationship, free choice of a method as well as a therapist. The results of the thesis might represent a resource for another, deeper investigation of this issue, e.g. in the field of disease prevention or when investigating the unconventional methods or the impact of belief on the treatment process, etc. Some of the motives resulting from the research might be inspiring for the whole medical system {--} improvement of the doctor-patient relationship, holistic approach towards the patients, reduction of pharmacotherapy.

Závěrečné vyhodnocení projektu "Dokončení knihovny a muzea na zámku jako součásti strategického plánu mikroregionu Strážiště"

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to verify the effectiveness of public resources invested in the selected project. The evaluation is performed ex-post with assistance of Cost Utility Analysis. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The literature review is the first part and it describes options of municipalities collaboration, strategy planning and project cycle including its evaluation. There is introduced an area of microregion Stražiště, in which was the project realized. The practical part is second and it describes the project briefly. Then the results of CUA analysis and results of questionnaire survey are evaluated.
