Macek, Pavel ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deals with a proposal and an analysis of electromagnets. The first chapter is an introduction into solve of the problem. In the second chapter there is a general discussion about basic relations of the electromagnetic field. The third chapter is dedicated to the operation principle and construction of electromagnets and is supplemented with their common classification. The fourth chapter introduces the Finite Element Method and the FEMM programm. The fifth chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the DC electromagnet, the sixth chapter analysis single-phase AC electromagnet. In the seventh chapter there is a review of results of general analysis of both electromagnets.
Calculation of DC electromagnet and its experimental verification
Steidl, Adam ; Vetiška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
Content of this thesis deals with electromagnets as operating elements in electric machines. Thesis is divided in two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes electromagnets as an electric machine, usage of electromagnets in electrical devices as operating element. Electromagnets are further divided in groups on the basis of different criteria. Next, the theory of electromagnetic fields and methods of assesment of static pull and dynamic characteristics are described. Construction and function analysis of researched type of electromagnet from OEZ company with permanent magnets, which serves as trigger in compact circuit breaker, is also included in this part. Practical part includes measurement of force quantities of an electromagnet in different operating states and its evaluation. For analysis of dynamic quantities with finite element method was created suitable three-dimensional model of electromgnet. Model is used for simulation ofdifferent operating states. The last part describes measurement of dynamic characteristics of the electromganetic system. This part is closed with comparation of results.

Content of this thesis deals with electromagnets as operating elements in electric machines. Thesis is divided in two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes electromagnets as electric machine , usage of electromagnets in electrical devices as operating element. Electromagnets are further divided in groups on basis of different criteria. Next, the theory of electromagnetic fields and methods of assesment of static pull and dynamic characteristics is described. Construction and function analysis of researched electromagnet with permanent magnets, which serves as trigger in compact circuit breaker, is also included in this part. Practical part includes measurement of force quantities of researched electromagnet in different operating states an its evaluation. For analysis of dynamic quantities with finite element method were created two-dimensional and three-dimensional models. Evaluation of analysis follows. After that is described simplified design of electromagnet, based onoperating states of researched electromagnet. This part is closed with comparation between results of analysis and designed values of electromagnets.
Magnetically levitated cart
Jančuš, Rastislav ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis is summarizing common theoretical knowledge about permanent magnets and electromagnetism. Represent DC electromagnet as basic part for levitated high-speed train. Work is analyzing basics under cart and principles used for magnetic levitation in high-speed transportation. Second practice part including projecting construction levitated cart and analyzing acquired mathematical model of electromagnet. Work is analyzing process for projecting control for side electromagnets and realization real model, including tuning computer communication with states of sensors and comparison real model with model simulated in program Simulink.
Influence of magnetic field on photovoltaic solar cell
Kadlec, Michal ; Šubarda, Jiří (referee) ; Šimonová, Lucie (advisor)
This thesis describes the issue of PN junction of photovoltaic cells, photovoltaic effect physics, basic materials used in photovoltaic and their properties, important for the area of photovoltaic. It deals with the problems of magnetism focused on electromagnetic fields. Experimental facility for measuring the influence of magnetic field on the solar cells through the Helmholtz coils was constructed. This work also dealing with the influence of magnetic radiation on photovoltaic cells and the influence of electromagnetic waves on the volt-ampere characteristics of the photovoltaic cell.
Electromagnetic flowmeter
Dohnal, Zdeněk ; Bejček, Ludvík (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with inductive flowmeters, specifically insertion inductive flowmeters. It examines in detail a blueprint of such flowmeter, consisting of probe, electromagnet, electrodes, exciting module and evaluation of signal. Gauging of a flowmeter designed this way, measuring data, charts, evaluation and interpretation. Consequent measurement in a calibration laboratory to elaborate, evaluate and interpret the results.
Active Preload Control of Machine Tool Spindle Units
Cyprian, Rudolf ; Blecha, Petr (referee) ; Březina, Tomáš (advisor)
This work describes some kinds of active preload control of machine tool sipndle units based on industry requierements. And it compares their advantages and disadvantages based on obtained knowleges. For simulation was used Matlab/Simulink, where proposed model was created. All values was gathered from publications.
Contribution to Active control of resonant vibration of blades by synchronous electromagnets
Pešek, Luděk ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Vaněk, František ; Cibulka, Jan
The system for active control of the test blade wheel under rotation was designed and realized in the IT AS CR. It consists of the eight electromagnets distributed around the circumference of the wheel. The control program for electromagnet synchronization was developed in the dSPACE environment. In the contribution the active control system is introduced and first results of dynamic experiments with an open loop control are presented.
Excitation of blade vibration under rotation by synchronous elektromagnet
Vaněk, František ; Pešek, Luděk ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Cibulka, Jan
The procedure for design of blade vibration excitation by synchronous electromagnets is presented. Its verification was performed on the test wheel by two-point electromagnetic excitation of blades under rotation.
Design of electromagnetic of shrouded blades excitation in Erosion stand
Pešek, Luděk ; Vaněk, František ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Cibulka, Jan
The research report was elaborated in frame of the contract with Skoda Power a.s. and Institute of Thermomechanics AS CR, v.v.i.. The aim was to design the electromagnetic excitation of bladed disc in the Erosion stand. In the report the multi electromagnetic excitation design, the production drawings of electromagnets UTM4, their electrical connections and their placement in the stand are presented. Furthermore the methods of electromagnet synchronization for an excitation of the blade and disc vibration modes are discussed. The results of verification tests both in still and rotating states on the test rigs of IT AS CR conclude the report.
