Documentation of some botanical objects by table scanners
Babůrek, Ivan
Table scanners may be used for documentation of biological, and especially flat botanical, objects in laboratory. In comparison with (digital) photography is picture from scanner mostly cheaper and quicker. In comparison with classical botany herbaria picture better catch the shape and colour of fresh biological object. Small 3D objects (seeds, fruits) may be also scanned without problems. Resolution 600 dpi is higher than that of human eye. Scanned picture may be used instead of using small magnifying glass.

The Kokořínsko PLA, Bohemian Paradise PLA and Polická vrchovina Highland represent a high-diversity "sandstone phenomenon". Sandstones of the Bohemian Paradise can be considered as optimum for development of microrelief features influenced by saet erosion and case hardening.
