The thesis "Role of some religious orders in extraparochial evangelization and pastoral care", presents the theme evangelization and pastoral care as a part of the whole life course of man, which it plays an important role in. Evangelization is characterized as a whole life task and mission of each Christian. In connection with the concluding document of the Plenary session of Catholic Church in the Czech Republic, categorical attitude of pastoral care to various groups of people is accentuated as the optimal way of pastoral care. The thesis emphasizes an important role of religious communities in evangelization and pastoral care, including description of extraparochial activities and their contribution at some chosen religious communities. Church Free Time Activity as a Missionary Method Ema Máchová Diploma thesis are trying to find out a church free time activity overlap into missionary effort and it's form. The common grounds are based within the catholic church mission, history of education and modern approaches of free time pedagogy. Author search whether is possible to get over childern and young people for christian way of living throughout the free time activities. Salesians and The Seventh-day Adventists missionary effort range is appraised by interviews with particular church representatives and consecutive reflection. It's coming out from this groundwork, that this is not relevant within church free time activies in terms of mission persiding into baptism. Nevertheless such a church free time doing could have a missionary overleap through a leader of this free time activity. A missioner- pedagogue must be aware of his duty responsibility and not only during his role as a missioner-pedagogue, but in his whole life. Then we can speak about a mission arising from testimony of our own lifes.

Modern medialization of God in light of theological reflexion Viktor Mácha The core of this work is focused on christian values and persons of the Trinity communication by means of modern mass-medias. It's structure is based on the most explicit model - singapure project God's Campaing from 2001, which is disassembled step by step by marketing management methodology and extended with related cases of "God's medializations" throughout the most influential communication channels of twentieth and twenty-first century at the same time, e.g. radio and television broadcasting, internet and entertainment industry. From stated in advance concept of medialization as an evangelization method the author concludes that more than a mission effort these communication channels are accomplishing certain form of pre-evangelization, pre-catechesis and pre-kerygmatic announcements in wider terms of inculturation.

The Life and Work of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

The work is focused on a life and work of archbishop Fulton J. Sheen and it is divided into three parts. The first part is concerned in bishop's life events and partly in bishop's charakter description. It is completed with american bishop's canonization process report. Second part is decribing literary legacy of bishop Sheen, trying to grasp main emphases in his work, referring on topical komplexity of Sheen's books, depicting author's apologetic writing style. The topic is accomplished with Appendix I. to submit complete Sheen's biography list. The third part is more profound insight into Sheen's christocentric theology which is particularly concerned in Cross, and it also includes further theological insights, biblical quotations and reflexions by several significant theologians. In fact, this part is theological interpretation of Sheen's book Life of Christ.

Evangelism as a mission of the Church in actual Czech society

Diploma thesis deals with the theme of evangelization and selected evangelization concepts which are nowadays applied in the Czech Republic. Evangelization is presented as an essential task of the Church and Christians. This task is based on Jesus missionary command to preach the Gospel to all creation. Evangelization is analyzed from the point of theological foundation of missiology, trinitology, Christology, Mariology and ecclesiology. Thesis also outlines which qualities the missionary who follows example of Jesus Christ should have, what content and methods of preaching Gospel should be employed. This paper acquaints with following evangelization concepts: School of Christian Life and Evangelization of Mary of Nazareth, the Mother of the Church, Franciscan missionary work, Koinonia of Saint John the Baptist and the Parish evangelization cells. The thesis provides comparison in terms of objectives, methods and partial theoretical findings.

Seventh-Day Adventists between modernism and postmodernism

This work reflects on how the Seventh-day Adventist Church meets the challenges of postmodernism, despite itself having its roots deep in the modern era. The first part deals with the origin of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the development of its dogma. It primarily focuses on the Thomas Reid?s philosophy of common sense and describes the Adventist statements of dogma that are typical of this church and were influenced by the philosophy of common sense. The second part analyses how this church deals with the challenges of the postmodern era. It describes the current categorisation of Adventist theology on the basis of the differing macro-hermeneutic of the individual streams that depend on how they view the relationship between God and time. It also indicates the practical impacts that these various approaches to church praxis lead to. The aim of this work is to be as objective as possible in describing the current situation and show the potential risks and solutions that the church and its members face. In the author?s opinion, an adequate response to the problems of Adventism in the postmodern era can be found in shifting the emphasis to a general Christian perspective and in redefining specifically Adventist teachings.

The first part is about founding the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in context of paradigm of modernism. The second part talks about the church versus themes of postmodernism and the third part is about real steps that the church makes in order to stay in contact with this postmodern society. History of the Baptists in Sokolov from its beginnings to the end of 20 century

The Bachelor thesis deals with the development of Baptist Union churches not only in the former Czechoslovakia, but individual local churches in Cheb, Sokolov and Kraslice. In the first part are answered doctrinal point of view, what Baptists believe. Then there is the answer, what personalities and movements Baptist Union was affected. The second part is an excursion in the specific events of Baptist congregations. The largest part of this thesis is primarily a comprehensive overview of the history of Baptist Church in Sokolov in the range of this meeting until the end of the 20th century. Sources from which we drew the Chronicle staff BJB in Kraslice in Cheb, just as we serve the testimony of witnesses who were partakers in the affairs of churches in the last century.

The Sokolov Baptist Church Development after 1989

The work deals with the analysis of the development of Baptist church in Sokolov after 1989, which suffered a split in 2001. The theoretical part concerns basic ecclesiological backgrounds, principles of building a healthy church and briefly touches on the history and theological emphases of the Baptist Union in the Czech Republic. The practical part presents a description and analysis of specific church life events based on interviews with former and current members. Comparison of the results from the practical analysis with the theoretical part attempts to identify the causes within this community, which caused the split.
