Analysis of the Price Convergence of CR towards EU
Havrlant, David ; Pánková, Václava (advisor) ; Mandel, Martin (referee) ; Singer, Miroslav (referee)
The price level convergence of the transition economies towards the reference economies is linked to the relative price of nontradables, which is explained by the total factor productivity differentials in tradable and nontradable sector. Basic concept is offered by the Balassa Samuelson model and its modifications. Testable equations are derived from these models, and the panel data approach is applied for their estimation. The results indicate faster growth of the relative price of nontradables in transition economies as succession of higher growth rate of the total factor productivity in tradable sector. Hence estimated models confirm the price level convergence of transition economies towards the reference economies. The analyses of price dynamics of the complementary field, i. e. of the tradables, follows, and the basic concept is represented by the rational bubble hypothesis. The stress is putted on the impact of the word prices on the price levels of the Czech Republic. After a cointegration analysis of the time series is carried out, the influence of the word prices of tradable commodities is estimated within a vector error correction model and regression analysis. This cost factors analysis is afterwards related to the export dynamics of the Czech Republic, and models suitable for quantitative analysis of export dynamics as well as its prediction based on vector error correction model and regression analysis are evaluated. Their forecasting ability is assessed within a simulation of ex-post forecasts and a root mean squared error. The aim is to consider the relationship between the price levels and the export dynamics, for the relation of both variables evaluated within the Granger causality seems to be less straightforward then the standard export equations suggest, and the estimated equations confirm significant influence of the export dynamics on the price level.

Úloha regulačních proteinů pro pohyblivost rybích spermií
DZYUBA, Viktoriya
The investigation of the energetic aspects of spermatozoon motility implementation (Chapter 2) was carried out using demembranated spermatozoa of taxonomically distant fish species (common carp and sterlet). Special attention was given to the functioning of ATP regeneration systems: adenylate kinase (AK), and creatine kinase (CK). It was shown for the first time that the phosphocreatine/CK system is present in sterlet spermatozoa and plays an essential role in ATP regeneration. Spermatozoa of carp and sterlet were shown to have similar systems for ATP regeneration, while the efficacy of the studied systems differs in these species. The low baseline activity of CK in carp and AK in sterlet suggest these to be the source of the most pronounced effects of their inhibition on energy supply for flagella movement in the respective species. The presence of a maturational process during the post-testicular transit of sperm in sturgeon was recently ascertained in our laboratory (Chapter 3). This discovery prompted investigation of the factors that regulate this process including the involvement of proteolysis regulators and prooxidant-antioxidant system. As a result of this study (Chapter 3.3), we found that there was no significant difference between proteolytic profiles of seminal fluids (SF) of testicular sperm (TS) and Wolffian duct sperm (WS). It suggests that the majority of proteases present in SF of mature sperm originate in the testis. Measure of amidase and anti-proteolytic activities in the SF of sterlet sperm showed significant decrease in activities as the sperm passed through the kidneys and Wolffian ducts. Considering our observation that trypsin inhibition during in vitro TS maturation blocked the maturation process (Chapter 3.1), and based on zymography, amidase and anti-proteolytic activity determination, we think that the decrease in anti-proteolytic activity of spermatozoa surroundings during their post-testicular transit could be needed to prepare them for maturation. The present study showed that maturation of sturgeon spermatozoa and different times of storage in Wolffian ducts (in vivo storage), are accompanied by significant alterations in motility parameters as well as in SF redox balance (Chapter 4.1). A high level of TBA-reactive substances (TBARS) and a high activity of antioxidant enzymes were found in immature TS compared to those in WS. The high activity of the enzymatic antioxidant system (AOS) allows TS to cope with the deleterious effects of excessive reactive oxygen species production and to retain the ability to become motile after post-testicular transit, or after in vitro maturation. The increase in TBARS content during in vivo storage was not accompanied by a corresponding increase in activity of AOS. We suggest that extended time in the Wolffian ducts resulted in sperm oxidative damage resulting from inadequate AOS efficacy and, finally, in decreases in motility parameters. Short-term hypothermic in vitro storage of sterlet sperm resulted in a significant decrease in motility and velocity without changes of AOS activity (Chapter 4.2). It means that AOS of sterlet sperm is effective enough to prevent the development of oxidative stress during short-term storage. Short period of tench sperm exposure to hypotonic conditions was shown to induce oxidative stress and, as a result, sperm quality decline (Chapter 4.3). The combined results of the study concerning the regulation of sperm prooxidant-antioxidant status (Chapter 4) during spermatozoa maturation, motility activation and sperm in vivo and in vitro storage may confirm a dual role of reactive oxygen species (regulatory or damaging depending from the levels of their formation and elimination) in fish sperm physiology.

The facility of server geolocation
Šurina, Štefan ; Jirovský, Václav (advisor) ; Mišutka, Jozef (referee)
This diploma thesis outlines the methods of server geolocalization, that is, determining the physical location of servers based on network measurements. Especially, it sums up several groups of methods, all more or less usable. What is more, it comprises the implementation of couple of them, mainly those based on round trip measurements from distributed environment of well known data points. According to this, statistical comparison of their ability to geolocate precisely is made. Finally, this thesis also tries to prove theoretically how to pick up geolocation servers in order to minimize the error of potential measurements.

Využití molekulárních markerů pro studium genetické diverzity u vybraných zástupců Dracaena
Ostrá, Zuzana
Variability in the genetic information DNA tracking individuals carry is easy to detect using molecular markers. In the thesis we examined related Dracaena species. For the study of genetic diversity in the genus Dracaena are used mainly noncoding regions of cpDNA, spacer trnH -- psbA, regions trnL -- trnF and trnS -- trnG -- trnG, which are more variable than coding regions. Also used in this work were coding regions of matK and rbcL. In the genus Dracaena belongs xerophytic species that are characterized by typical shaped treetop. 14 representatives of species were used in thesis growing in tropical regions of the African continent and adjacent islands and the southeastern part of the Arabian peninsula. They are monocotyledonous trees with atypical abilities of secondary thickness of trunk, which I find interesting. The massive trunk is very strong and there is potencial to used it for wood. Trees are very significant for their red plant sap which flowing from demaged trunk. The sap is very precious resource which is used in many areas of industry, for example pharmacy, traditional medicine, dye making etc. Determination of genetic affinity was based on an amplification of cpDNA template of individual Dracaena samples with primers for the studied regions. Data was obtained and evaluated by Multiple alignment program ClustalX and BioEdit after their sequencing. Evalueted data was used to create dendograms affinity. According the resulting phylogenetic tree we find out similarities and identified relationship of the monitored species of the genus Dracaena. The main purpose of research was to get answers to understand phylogenetic relationship between group of Dracaena forestry used trees. The thesis was made in cooperation of Department of Forest Botany, Dendrology and Geobiocoenology, Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of Mendel University in Brno.

Reduction of transport loses of volatile form of cadmium for determination by EcHG - in situ trapping - ETAAS
Nováková, Eliška ; Rychlovský, Petr (advisor) ; Červený, Václav (referee)
This thesis deals with possible ways of improving sensitivity and repeatability of determination of cadmium by EcHG - ETAAS. The main complication of this coupled method is condensation of water vapors in the transport capillary, which takes part in the losses of the volatile form of cadmium. Possible solution or at least restriction of the above mentioned problem is heating of the transport route. Experiments also show that reducing the ratio area/volume of transport capillary doesn't lead to reduction of loses of the volatile form of cadmium.

The Preparation of interpretive Performance
Šístek, Eduard ; ERICSSON, Mikael (advisor) ; HOŠEK, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is about the preparation of a performance, the relationship between interpretation and technugue and other elements which constitute a good performance. The key idea is an-round development of a performer´s abilities and skills- Having an idea of both harmonic and formal structure of a composition makes us more able to interpret it. Developed mental abilities of memory and imagination are needed for this as much as a reliable technigue. The quality of a performance is influenced by the preparation process to a considerable extent.Besides, the ability to adapt to the acoustic of the hall and coping with stagefright do not lack importance either. Every public performance brings new sensation and inspiration. The performer should eventually review his performance, thus giving himself a hint of what he should work on further.

Diagnosis and endovascular therapy of cerebral aneurysm
SVAČINA, Igor
Summary Diagnosis and endovascular therapy of cerebral aneurysm The first part of this bachelor work is aimed at the key examination methods such as CT, MR, DSA etc., leading to the determination of diagnosis of subarachnoidal haemorrhage caused by brain aneurysms. It describes both etiology, pathogenesis, incidence of brain aneurysms and also anatomy and physiology of wessel wall and brain wessel supply {--} circle of Willisi. It explicates parametres of adjusting examination modalities for each individual procedure. Next part deals with the endovascular therapy of cerebral aneurysms. It is engaged in the embolization by coils. Detailed information was acquired from special medical literature and also by the observation of routine working procedures in radiology departments and interventional radiology departments in hospitals during scholarships. The target of the bachelors work is also to assess the role of radiographers in the process of determination of subarachnoidal haemorrhage (SAH), which is caused by brain aneurysms, and also during the endovascular therapy of brain aneurysms. The assumption, that radiographers are really necessary and important during examination and that they are useful members of operating team, came true. The further part is focused on the detection and comparison of levels of the patient{\crq}s radiation stress during the endovascular therapy of brain aneurysms. It compares total skiascopy times of these interventions and searches for differences in the amount of applied iodine contrastive solutions. The compared data come from two angio units, Siemens Multistar (2000) and new Siemens Axiom Artis (2006), that are used in the department of interventional radiology in Homolka hospital. The data of 26 patients necessary for calculation of the effective dose were obtained from the operating diaries of both angio units. Effective and organ doses were subsequently calculated by the software programme called Effdose. It was found that effective doses from both angio units are relatively low. The entrance surface doses and organ doses (thyroid, eye lens etc.) cannot cause any skin injuries and any deterministic effects. Radiation stress in Siemens Axiom Artis is almost half lower than in Siemens Multistar. The hypothesis that effective doses in the new angio unit Axiom will be lower proved true. Differences between total skiascopy times and amounts of applied contrastive solutions were slight. The hypothesis that total skiascopy times and amounts of applied iodine contrastive solutions in the new angio unit Axiom will be lower did not prove true.
