The thesis seeks to examine the legal regulation of shares of joint stock companies. These shares are the subject matter of legal relationships that arise within civil law in particular. This thesis provides an overview and comparison of Czech and Slovak law governing shares and joint stock companies. Such legal regulations mainly stem from the Commercial Code, the Czech Act on Take-Over Offers, and the Czech Act on Changes to Companies and Cooperatives, Act on Securities, or the Czech Act on Entrepreneurship on Capital Markets. In the thesis I hope to offer a complex collection of opinions from Czech and Slovak jurisprudence authorities on selected provisions of the Commercial Code relating to joint stock companies. Publi attitudes to NATO

In January survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR investigated public attitude to membership of the Czech Republic in NATO and to some aspects concerning this membership. The question about satisfaction with membership in NATO was positively answered by more than half of respondents (55, 3%), on contrary 29, 2 % of addressed citizens shared opposite opinion . In comparison to year 2002 the same question was positively answered by 61 % and negatively by 23 % of respondents.More than 15 % of people answered “I do not know“, which is almost the same number as in year 2002.

Fertility patterns and trends in post-socialist countries contrasted with Sweden and the United States of America

The thesis addresses fertility patterns and trends in post-socialist countries of the Czech Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Latvia and western countries of Sweden and the United States of America during 1999 - 2007 period. Differentials in shifts in fertility behavior including changes in family formation, fertility timing and extramarital childbearing coming from the baby-boom era in western countries and the collapse of state socialist regime in post-socialist countries are described in the thesis. The tendency in changing attitudes to childbearing and the role of the children in the family are obviously seen. After examining the age profile in fertility development for selected countries the role of women according to age group in overall fertility is explained. Share of live births borne outside of marriage in western countries has increased over the past decades. Location of VoIP caller in emergency

This master thesis deals with the problem of localization of the caller to the emergency line with focus on VoIP calls. It contains general description of the main active and passive geolocation methods, and explains their function. The paper analyzes market share of different VoIP clients and describes the program Skype. The focus of this work is to create an application for geolocation of the caller using analysis of VoIP transmission. The application gains IP address of the caller by capturing packets and displays his/her location on the map. The coordinates are obtained from the MaxMind GeoLite City database which been chosen by evaluating objective parameters as the most suitable for desired use.

Risks and opportunities of social networking - User behavior and the possibilities of obtaining their personal data

This thesis has several aims, the main to offer the reader an overview on specific social networks. To address the main aim, we will describe commonly used social networks, provide a general history of social networks, and list the most famous social networks in the world and Czech, as well as describe their main histories. Next, we are going to specify the main topic groups in which we can divide the social networks. The second aim is to introduce how we can use social networks for business and marketing intensions, including the techniques used by marketing employees. In the next part, we are going to discuss development trends from the users' perspective and we will also focus on main trends, which are important for the firms operating on social networks. In the last theoretical part, we will describe risks and hazards on social networks. In the practical part, we will demonstrate how people share their own private information and what area of interest is the most useful for gathering this information.

Chinese economy and foreign trade imbalances

Chinese economy and foreign trade imbalances The paper analyses current global imbalances in international trade that are characterized on one side by huge US current account deficit, on the other side by growing economies of South East Asia that are accumulating foreign exchange reserves and consequently investing them back to the US dollar denominated assets. This way they basically facilitate further growth of US indebtedness. The question is how much longer are these imbalances sustainable and how much longer will be foreign investors willing to lend the money to the US. The thesis consists of introduction; followed by explanation of circumstances that allowed these imbalances to reach such a large scale. Second chapter addresses to the brief description of US economy, impact of growing budget deficit on current account deficit and new trends in financing these deficits. In the third chapter, the economy in China is thoroughly analyzed, its monetary policy, development of foreign trade and its share on widening of current trade imbalances. Digital footprint on own computer and the Internet

The objective of this bachelor's degree paper is to evidence the negative impact and potential losses associated with unmanaged personal information sharing on the internet and then to provide solutions as to how to mitigate potential threats. This paper first addresses the definition of the digital footprint and its impact before describing in the Second Chapter the potential risks that are connected with leaving an unmanaged digital footprint. In order to investigate the levels of willingness of internet users to share their personal and private information I utilized a Questionnaire to interpret their understanding of privacy, risks associated with loss of privacy, identity theft and the levels of protection they adopt whilst being online. The final part of this Paper describes various means of personal data protection and how to mitigate, manage and minimize one's own digital track.

The analysis of TOR’s hidden service

This work deals with problems concerning anonymity in the internet age, the principle of onion routing, Tor network, Tor’s Hidden Service protocol. Analyzing security, anonymity and the possibility of Hidden Services deanonymisation, revealing the actual IP address of hidden service server. It describes selected types of attacks against Tor network in order to deanonymisation of nodes and hidden services. The practical part describes the process of installing and configuring hidden services under Linux. The final part of the practical part is operational and running .onion hidden service with anonymous service for file storing and sharing. Part of the work is the development of two laboratory tasks aimed at the server configuration and its security.

State Social Politics in the Context of the Social Politics of the Roman Catholic Church

Social politics - strong-willed state's, municipalites' and another subjects' activity which goal is improving the living conditions of people, implementation of human rights and development of each person. Social state - which is responsible for social and economic processes. Regarding strict liberal conception, those processes should be kept solely in competency of civil society and its market mechanism. This conception guarantees some social security for each member of the society, the active role of the state in providing social rights. Social security - the Czech legal order contains: health insurance, pension security, pension insurance, social care. State's welfare - represents a system of social benefits, where the state shares the costs of sustenance and the other basic children's and family's exigencies, this system is addressed, which means that some benefits depend on the income of the family. Encyclical - pope circular note addressed usually to the bishops, which contains consequential questions of faith and morality. It defines the social politics of the Church as well.
