Local government, economy and development of the city district Praha 7

The Bachelor thesis deals with socioeconomics and political aspects of selected city district Praha 7, and the impact of the local government into the city district development. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part specifies the basic concepts selected from literature and other resources related to local government and its financing, including municipal politics and municipal elections. The practical part is focused on characteristics of the city district, especially socioekonomics signs, results of municipal elections, analysis of financial aspects and evaluation of future perspective of development.

Práce pojednávající o spisovateli Otakaru Auředníčkovi se člení do devatenácti kapitol včetně úvodu a závěru. Jejím cílem je skrze charakteristiku doby a rozbor autorova díla poznat konkrétní básnickou osobnost přelomu 19. a 20. století. Práce je postavena na několika základních bodech, které jsou postupně dále rozvíjeny. Vychází z předpokladu, že byť Otakar Auředníček vždy stál spíše na periferii, ať už své generace, novodobé české poezie, zájmu kritiky, literární historie i nakladatelské politiky, zůstala část jeho tvorby podnes živou a zajímavou. Utilization of European Union's funds in the Orlicko - Třebovsko region

The main object of this bachelor thesis is analysis of specific funds and grants distributed by the European Union in the Orlicko -- Třebovsko region and in the largest towns in the region, Česká Třebová and Ústí nad Orlicí. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, in which basic data about the Orlicko -- Třebovsko region, about European Union including its regional politics and particularly the necessary theoretical information about the EU funds and about the financial funding redistribution system including all the necessary documentation, are listed. The main object of the second, practical part, is the practical familiarization with projects realized in the region, their brief description, the fundraising process and own evaluation of given project.

Unemployment and possibilities of its solution

The aim of the bachelor thesis is an issue of unemployment and possibilities of its solution. Theoretical part of the thesis characterizes a term of unemployment, describes its kinds and also possible cause of its origin from employer's and job applicant's side. It simultaneously deals with influence of wage's amount on unemployment's origin and time duration. Unemployment's size is evaluated by indicators of unemployment. In a part dedicated to the labour market in the Czech Republic is described active and passive employment politics supported by state authorities as well as by private entities. An analysis of unemployment's development in the Czech Republic as a whole in classification on districts and partial regions is made in practical part. Within the districts is more in detail analysed Southbohemian region with orientation on Tábor with using of observed unemployment's elements - unemployment's size, structure of job applicants from age viewpoint, sex and achieved education. Concrete examples of using of active and passive employment politics are mentioned in possibilities of unemployment's solutions. Research result of this issue is an evaluation of unemployment's development including influencing factors, efficiencies of employment politics and recommendations for job applicants to increase their labour market's use.

The Russian literature in series "World Literature" of the Czech publishing house Odeon (between 1955-1970) and the translational analysis of Anna Nováková's translation of Youri Olesha's novel Jealousy

Tématem mé diplomové práce je ediční politika nakladatelství Odeon, a to se zaměřením na vydávání ruské literatury v edici Světová četba. Cílem této práce je doplnění a upřesnění některých informací o ediční praxi tohoto našeho nejvýznamnějšího nakladatelského domu předlistopadové éry v oblasti vydávání překladové literatury. Translatologický rozbor jednoho z děl poslouží jako ukázka úrovně překladů zařazených do této edice. Diplomová práce je tedy strukturována do dvou částí. V první části, která má historicko-empirický charakter, se zabývám rusistickou produkcí zmíněného nakladatelství v edici Světová četba v období let 1955-1970, které v souvislosti s uvolněním kulturní politiky v šedesátých letech u nás může být v oblasti překladové tvorby považováno za nejpřínosnější a stále do jisté míry inspirativní. Druhá část má charakter spíše kriticko-empirický a je věnována translatologické analýze románu Jurije Oleši Závist v překladu Anny Novákové, jejíž osobnost je také pojítkem obou částí diplomové práce. Česká stráž Journal (1890-1901) and its most Influential Editors

The object of this work is to analyse Česká stráž journal at the end of 19th century (1890-1901). The main stress is put on the period, when the editorial staff consisted of an editorial trio (Cyril Horáček, Václav Choc and Eduard Koerner), who were trying to create a new political party. At that time the editors had made contacts with the political and cultural elites such as Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, Josef Svatopluk Machar etc. The editorial group of Česká stráž journal belonged to a radical movement of Czech lands. However, the editors split up at the dawn of the 20th century and each of them entered a different political party.

Project IPSYS - solution supporting the labour market

The goal of my bachelor thesis is a description of the IPSYS project (Informatically counseling system for consultants from the field of further learning), which was realized to support the Czech labour market. The thesis is focused on demonstration of project utility, its disadvantages, and possibilities of further development. As a support to main goals, I set up some secondary goals, which will help readers to understand the labour market problematics. These goals are: description of labour market in general, reference to some problems connected with labour market, and description of Czech governmental politics supporting labour market.

Yom Kippur war and its impacts on Israeli economics, politics and society

In my bachelors thesis I would like to aim at not only the analysis of reasons, process and results of Yom Kippur war, but mainly at its impacts on Israeli society, politics and economics.One of the results of foundation of the state of Israel in 1948 was sharpening of tension in the region of the Near and Middle East, which results can be seen to the present days. As very important I find the analysis of political, economical and social development of Israel early after the end of Yom Kippur war, which in fact confirmed the results of Six-Day war from 1967. I find it important because right at that time the tension inside Isreal againts the Arabic world and against Palestinians started to sharpen a lot (e.g. in connection with the settlement politics of Isreal in the occupated territories). Results of the conflict and politics of Isreal after another won war with the Arabic coalition had important impact also on futher political, social and economical development of the Near and Middle East Region.

Problematika využívání prostředků z fondů EU v období 2007 - 2013

Tato práce se zaměřuje na problematiku čerpání finančních prostředků ze strukturálních fondů a Fondu soudržnosti v České republice. Rokem 2007 se započalo nové programové období 2007 ? 2013, ovšem i nadále pokračuje čerpání alokací z období minulého. V úvodních kapitolách jsou charakterizovány cíle a finanční nástroje politiky soudržnosti EU. Následuje analýza současného stavu využívání finančních prostředků z výše uvedených fondů v období 2004 ? 2006 v ČR. Tato analýza představuje základ pro rozbor problémů a rizikových faktorů, které lze očekávat pro období 2007 ? 2013 při realizaci nových operačních programů.
