Development of masonry componets based on light foam glass based aggregate
Pěček, Bronislav ; Sedlmajer, Martin (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis covers development of masonry components based on light foam glass aggregate. Theoretical part pursues purpose of masonry components and description of different materials from which they are made of, mainly light foam glass aggregate. Practical part, focuses on designe of shape arrangment of masonry component and verifies mechanical properties of material, which was used in design.
Possibilities of utilization of aggregate based on glass powder in new building materials
Novák, Jakub ; Sedlmajer, Martin (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the use of waste glass powder as an aggregate in thermal insulation plasters for AAC. In the theoretical part, the problem of thermal protection of buildings is discussed first. The production and properties of foamed glass are described. Then the research of plasters, their composition and properties was made. Thermal-insulating plasters are specified and their use has been proposed for thermal insulation of building structures. In the practical part, suitable formulations have been proposed in the form of dry plaster and mortar mixtures (SOMS). Test samples were prepared from them. The physical and mechanical properties were measured. These were compared with the requirements set by standards and technical regulations. To get closer to the behavior of plasters on real buildings an AAC wall was built. The individual recipes were applied on it. It was monitored working with plaster and how it held on the masonry. During ripening crack development was observed. Optimization calculation inculded these aspects and it determined the optimal recipe. All designed recipes can be used as a thermal-insulating plasters.
Possibilities of utilization of lightweight aggregate based on foam glass for new-age insulation materials production
Bubeník, Jan ; Reif, Martina (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
Theoretical part of bachelor work is concerned with possibilities about utilization of gravel based on foamed glass in civil engineering. Another part is description of production, materials for production and mainly gravel properties. The work focuses on ways of bonding gravel based on foamed glass and final properties of products. Also heat technology issues are described and solution to critical details of objects as well. Possibility of bonding light gravel based on foamed glass with cement and determination of required properties are verified in practical part.
Possibilities of using lightweight aggregate of the foam glass bonded with cement
Jahn, Jeroným ; Křížová, Klára (referee) ; Sedlmajer, Martin (advisor)
In the theoretical part of bachelor thesis are findings about use of lightweight aggregate from foam glass. Part of this work is a description of production , raw materials for production , and especially the properties of aggregates. The work deals possibilities of interconnection and the use of foam glass aggregates in building industy . There is describe a risk of alkali-silica reactions in combination with cement. In the practical part are verified application possibilities and properties of cement composite with lightweight aggregate foam glass .
Possibilities of development of materials based on heat-treated granular glass
Šottl, Jiří ; Brožovský,, Jiří (referee) ; Bydžovský, Jiří (advisor)
Currently, applications of recycled glass belong to the perspectice technologies of glass processing. As a raw material for the manufacture of products using recycled glass. The recycled glass is mostly produced sintered components and foam glass. The aim is to analyze the situation regarding the production of waste based on glass at home production and abroad and design technology, which had the benefit of such waste.
Planetarium with coffee
Vlčková, Sabina ; Třeštíková, Ing Jana (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
Thesis on "Planetarium with coffee" is processed in the form of project documentation for construction. The proposed facility is designed as a two-storeyed without basement with the main ground plan dimensions of 52,8 x 27,47 m and is located near the village Lošov close to Olomouc. The building is operationally divided into a part intended for public entrance and a part for operation and maintenance. Loadbearing structural system is reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton based on monolithic reinforced concrete foundation footings. Ceiling structure consists of reinforced concrete, monolithic, locally supported, cross reinforced floor slab. Vertical external walls are made of ceramic blocks with contact thermal insulation system. Part of the front rounded facade is designed as glass fronted. The building is covered by a warm flat roof. Roof cladding consists of vegetation layers, walkable terrace or non-walkable structure of roof cladding. The planetarium itself is covered by a reinforced concrete dome with a thermal insulation layer of plates of foamed glass. Fillings of doors and windows are made of aluminum profiles with isolating triple glazing. The building meets the requirements for barrier-free use of buildings.
Comparison of technical characteristics and technology of laying light building materials for floor construction
Mikulica, Karel ; Fiala, Oldřich (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
This graduation thesis is aimed to presentation heat isolation materials for the floor constructions. The experimental part is devoted physical - mechanical properties suggested very light concretes with the cement. The main part of the thesis is devoted to form of the transit and putting of the individual heat isolation materials. In the end are suggested structures of the floor constructions with the respect to their properties and price.
Development of advanced thermal insulating plasters with utilization as sanitation plasters according to WTA standard
Vaněk, Lukáš ; Michálka, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the issue thermal insulation plasters which can be applied in the remediation of buildings. The practical part deals with optimizing the composition of thermal insulation plaster-based lightweight aggregate of the foam glass and with possible substitution of cement for other binders with latent hydraulic properties. The resultant plaster should meet the best ratio of mechanical and thermal insulating properties.
Indoor swimming Pool
Vašíček, Jiří ; Bartolšic, Vít (referee) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the indoor swimming pool located in the municipal land registry of the city of Brno. The thesis contains design documentation, technical report, thermal technical appraisal, details of 2D technical field, fire technical report, structural analysis of timber structures. This project is aimed at building public swimming pool – swimming pool whose lenght is 25 meters, children´s pool, relaxation pool, whirlpool and the sauna area which consists of three saunas.
