This diploma thesis includes a financial analysis of company Komerční pojišťovna, a.s. as prepared for the period 2005 - 2010. The aim of the thesis is theoretical and then practical processing of financial analysis of commercial insurance company. The theoretical part describes the different stages and methods of financial analysis. The practical part contains an analysis of the financial situation of the company and its comparison with industry.

Factoring as an Advanced Means of Business Financing in Kubousek, s.r.o. company

This bachelor thesis is called "Factoring as an Advanced Means of Business Financing in KUBOUŠEK s.r.o. Company" and elaborates on the advisability of transferring from the existing model subsisting in bank-overdraft-based financing of the company operations to a model of financing by factoring. Furthermore, it considers the selection of a suitable banking-house as a partner to put this operational financing into action. The resulting outcomes concerning the applicability of factoring compared to the suitability of bank overdraft are general and applicable not only to the KUBOUŠEK s.r.o. Company but also to other similar companies in need of finding a suitable financing method for their business operations. The conclusions in respect to selecting a suitable banking-house are specific for the analyzed company and time limited to the year of 2009 as that is the validity period of the terms and conditions offered by individual banks. The thesis explains in detail the functional principles of factoring. It lists individual types of factoring currently available in the Czech market, with further clarification of general benefits and disadvantages of using the individual types of factoring. The thesis continues to explain the functional principle of bank overdraft as currently used by the analyzed company, listing its general benefits and disadvantages, followed by a comparison of variant types of factoring in selected banks with presence in the Czech Republic. Based on this comparison, one factoring variant and one banking house are selected as the most suitable. The main objective of this thesis is to compare the currently applied variants of bank overdrafts and the selected most suitable factoring services available with the selected bank that KUBOUŠEK s.r.o could use.

The subject of the diploma thesis is financial analysis of Fire Mutual Insurance Company from the year 2004 to 2008. The thesis consists of two parts- theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part describes acceptable methods of financial analysis of commercial insurance company. On the basis of specific activities of insurance companies are selected the typical indicators for insurance company. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the application of selected methods of financial analysis for the Fire Mutual Insurance Company.

The theme of my bachelor essay is strategy and business management of commercial insurance companies. Preamble is devoted to the relationship of segment marketing at building relationships with potential customers. Following are determined by individual marketing channels of distribution. The following section presents the individual sales channels, which are currently used by insurance companies to distribute insurance products. It also shows the relationship of individual products in relation to its cost efficiency for the insurance commission. The final part of the distribution channel, depending on the complexity of insurance products, as this relationship is one of the main factors determining the future distribution network. Finally, there is mention of possible future development of distribution channels.

The subject of the diploma thesis is a financial analysis of a commercial insurance company for the period from the year 2004 to 2008. The financial analysis is produced on the basis of publicly available data. The first part of the diploma thesis is focused on theoretical aspects of financial analysis of an insurance company, specific activities of insurance companies and indicators used in the financial analysis of insurance company. The second part of the diploma thesis is a practical part, where financial analysis of selected company is realized by means and indicators described in the teoretical part. The conclusion sums up the results and findings of the thesis.

The subject of the diploma thesis is financial analysis of a selected commercial insurance company from the year 2004 to 2008. The analysis is performed on the basis of publicly available data from the insurance company's web site. The chapter following the introduction is focused on theoretical aspects of financial analysis of an insurance company. The methods of financial analysis, especially the indicators used in insurance industry are introduced in the third charter. The fourth chapter is operative, in which the analysis is realized by means of selected indices, described in the theoretical part. The conlusion sums up the results and finding of the thesis.

The development of the Czech system of insurance after 2000

The thesis is focused on the development of the Czech system of insurance in last eight years. The aim of the paper is to analyse the development of the Czech insurance market by several indicators and to find the reasons for this development. The thesis covers the most important moments that influenced the Czech insurance market like the floods in 2002 or joining the EU and the legislative changes resulting from it. Modern trends that started to appear in the Czech insurance market like IT innovations, bankassuarance or CRM, are also mentioned in my thesis.
