Psychotherapical approaches to treatment of drug dependence
DOBIÁŠOVÁ, Gabriela
The phenomen of drug dependence is one of the most problematic questions at present time. Drugs become much greater threat for youth, however even for children.Young people should direct their attention instead of passing experience with a drug in another direction especially try hard their selves-realization. In this direction there is a family support already important from childhood, the primary prevention both in the family setting and even at school and media influence is important as well. The fight with a drug sometimes resembles the fight with an unconquerable enemy. It can seem that it is useless to make any effort to this fight but I think that indifferent approach to this question is not right. Even one positive finished struggle with danger called the drug has sense to take as an example and believe in happy ends of all drug dependent adults, youth and children. The substance of the solution of drug dependence, the whole conception of this dependence and finding of a suitable therapeutic approach is often a subject of confusing and antagonistic interpretations. The therapy of this dependence is a long-termed and complicated process. It requires the first-rate judgement of a problem, certain time, finding of a suitable therapeutic programme as well or a therapist and a suitable therapeutic direction. The treatment of drug dependence involves not only a separate psychotherapeutic part, however also pharmacotherapy, concultation with other participant people, subjects and substance of a suitable application of psychotherapeutic technique. In my work I aim at success of individual variations of psychotherapeutic approaches in therapy of drug dependence as a fundamental point of work with a client. I prefer the investigation of dependence therapy on non-alcoholic drugs. Another aim of my research is to evaluate satisfaction of the clients with services of the treatment facilities in which they are treated now but also evaluation of experience with a relevant previous therapy. I am interested in comparison of clients´ and therapists´opinions on the therapy of drug dependence and the effectiveness of performing therapies in a mental home against a therapeutic community.

Domain conformations of the motor subunit of EcoR124I involved in ATPase activity and dsDNA translocation
BIALEVICH, Vitali
Bacterial type I restriction-modification systems are composed of three different subunits: one HsdS subunit is required for identification of target sequence and anchoring the enzyme complex on DNA; two HsdM subunits in the methyl-transferase complex serve for host genome modification accomplishing a protective function against self-degradation; two HsdR (or motor) subunits house ATP-dependent translocation and consequent cleavage of double stranded DNA activities. The crystal structure of the 120 kDa HsdR subunit of the Type I restriction-modification system EcoR124I in complex with ATP was recently reported. HsdR is organized into four approximately globular structural domains in a nearly square-planar arrangement: the N-terminal endonuclease domain, the RecA-like helicase domains 1 and 2 and the C-terminal helical domain. The near-planar arrangement of globular domains creates prominent grooves between each domain pair. The two helicase-like domains form a canonical helicase cleft in which double-stranded B-form DNA can be accommodated without steric clash. The helical domain, probably involved in complex assembly, exhibits only a few specific interactions with helicase 2 domain. Molecular mechanism of dsDNA translocation, cleavage and ATP hydrolysis has not been yet structurally investigated. Here we propose a translocation cycle of the restriction-modification system EcoR124I based on analysis of available crystal structures of superfamily 2 helicases, strutural modeling and complementary biochemical characterization of mutations introduced in sites potentially inportant for translocation in the HsdR motor subunit. Also a role of the extended region of the helicase motif III in ATPase activity of EcoR124I was probed.

Global Economic Outlook - February 2017
Česká národní banka
The February issue of Global Economic Outlook presents the regular monthly overview of recent and expected developments in selected territories, focusing on key economic variables: inflation, GDP growth, leading indicators, interest rates, exchange rates and commodity prices. In this issue, we tend to explore analytically the effect of (un)conventional monetary policy measures on shadow interest rates in the euro area and the USA. Based on our estimates, we show in this article that the effect of monetary policy measures on shadow rates differs depending on whether they were aimed at stabilising financial markets or further easing monetary conditions. We also indicate how the effects of measures taken by central banks can change depending on the current level of financial stress.

Transient effect at the output of a continuous-time LTI second order system controlled pulse-width modulation
Petera, Martin ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Jura, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to determine the size of overshoot produced at the output of a linear continuous second order system controlled by pulse width modulation depending on the period and duty cycle of the modulation and system parameters. This thesis contains analytic calculation of the size of overshoot produced at the output of the second order system with damping ratio > 0, except the damping ratio equals to 1 (i.e. both underdamped and damped system) depending on period and duty cycle of the modulation. This thesis also includes a comparison of partial analytic results to numerical simulation in Matlab program and also with measurement at second order system model.

The Fruit Beers Popularity in the Czech Republic
Balaštík, Milan ; Maier, Tomáš (advisor) ; Lukáš, Lukáš (referee)
The main topic of this thesis is the popularity of fruit beers in the Czech Republic. It describes a generic distribution of fruit beers, both abroad and in our country. Shows an overview of large and small manufacturers in this category in the domestic market. It focuses on the current situation flavored beer on domestic and foreign markets, according to the latest data. Based on the survey are analyzed consumer preferences in the domestic market. They are then formulated breweries general recommendations arising from the outcomes of the survey. Subsequently, using basic statistical methods detected significant correlation between the consumption of flavored beers and gender and between consumption and age of respondents. If so, then it determines the strength of this dependence. It was found that while significant correlation was demonstrated in sex exists between consumption and age of the respondents. The strength of this dependence was assessed as moderate. It was finally drafted forecast consumption of mixed drinks based on beer in the Czech Republic. The analyzed time series contained the actual annual data maintained by the Czech Beer and Malt Association from 2012 to 2015. The forecast was calculated for the next two years. It was found that consumption of mixed drinks based on beer in the future will continue to decline.

Statistical analysis of resocialization care after prison release
Dlouhá, Šárka ; Hlavsa, Tomáš (advisor) ; Michal, Michal (referee)
The level of crime has to be regulated in order to prevent the crime to cause major damage to society. Therefore it is profitable to address criminal recidivism as well. Recidivism is caused by a complicated process of reintegration of people with criminal records back to society. The main goal of this thesis was to find the main factors affecting reintegration process of people after incarceration. The thesis is trying to reach the results by quantitative research, specifically examining the frequencies and dependence of categorical variables. The main factors which influence the reintegration process of people with criminal past are unemployment and indebtedness. These elements are affected by certain demographic factors. These factors also influence the type of criminal activity and the probability of criminal recidivism.

Adolescents substance use : identifying factors influencing alcohol consumption among high school students in the Czech Republic
Mandelíková, Martina ; Strecker, Ondřej (referee) ; Pertold, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on indicating the factors, which influence the participation in adolescent substance use. Possibly important factors are identified based on the previous researches dealing with the same topic. The effect of these factors is then tested with the empirical model. This thesis deals with a dataset from the European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs done at the Czech high schools among freshmen and juniors. Since the results in dependence on sex and class year are expected to be different, the regression is run separately. The most significant factors are for all cases: the smoking experience, the age of the first intoxication, and the share of friends who already consume alcohol.

Design and production of sample panels with system installation Inels
Steidl, Jaromír ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the problems of system installations. The system installation is presented as an installation, where the light switch does not serve for interrupt a power circuit, but it serves as a sensor, which directs the status change of actuator, that makes the own manipulation with a power circuit. In the first chapter the diploma thesis presents the history of the system installation development depending on the demand for the system regulation in buildings centrally and complexly. There are also summarize advantages and disadvantages of installations, which are used in these days. In the second chapter, the system installations are devided into centralized and decentralized systems. The centralized systems are constructionally simpler as well the communication, but the whole system is more inclinable to fail. The decentralized systems are more complicated, more expensive, but more reliable and they have also potentiality to extand. Two decentralized systems, nowadays the most used, are further presented – KNX and LonWorks. They are used especially for the administration buildings control. Then the diploma thesis presents both some systems, which are used abroad, and the situation at the Czech market, whereas there is described the system INELS, which is made by Elko ep. Limited Company. The goal of the thesis, which is mentioned in the third chapter, is to present the system installations, design a panel with this installation including the panel´s handmade, and then on this panel demonstrate the panel´s using for education in laboratory practices. The fourth chapter discusses the author´s characterization of the panel´s concept – there is described the graphical concept of the panel, used units and their integrations. By all of used units their functions on the panel are described. In the last but one chapter, there are mentioned the practical applications, which the panel serves, and there are also described the concepts of laboratory tasks for education of the fundamental configuration and possibilities of the system installation INELS. The chapter also engage in the configuration of the system for the panel, which presents control elements in one room via the system installation INELS. This configuration serves for the presentation of the educational panel. The conclusion is dedicated to the summary of the mentioned problems.

Legal and social aspects of drug addiction legislation The purpose of my thesis is to analyse influence of EU policy on drug legislation, obligations of UNO conventions, drug related legislation in Czech republic, national drug policy and comparison of drug related legislation in Czech republic an Slovak republic. The reason for my research is long term interest about this issue. Drug phenomenon is insepareble to the human mankind and becomes to global problem. Illegal drugs is the third biggest industry line and world hardly tries to find solutions how to fight against this complex problem of society. The thesis is composed of five chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of drug and drug related legislation. Chapter One analyzes influence of EU drug policy on national legislation. The chapter is subdivided into two parts. Part One describes EU institutions dealing with drugs and explains their activity in EU drug policy. Part Two focuses on current drug policy in EU based on "balance approach" of represion and prevention. Chapter Two subscribes an overview of the international drug legislation with particular reference to UNO conventions and summarise role of UNO bodies . The chapter consists of two parts. Part One focuses on UNO conventions as a basis of national drug related legislation...
