Children and juvenile deliquency {--} aspects of children and juvenile deliquency in Český Krumlov district.
ŽAHOUREK, Pavel
Nowadays, the juvenile deliquency is the frequently discussed issue, because it increases the brutality and the irresponsibility and the share of juvenile offenders on committing crimes. That is why my bachelor´s work deals with the juveline deliquency as one form of the criminality and further in one chapter, I deal with the deliquency at the Český Krumlov District. At the introduction of the work, the basic regular expressions are defined, because these are always necessary to define at the introduction of the work, as they are going to be used further. This work is focused especially on the conditions and the causes of the deliquency and at the conclusion, there are described the kinds and the forms of the prevention, that could be the decision point of the solution of the juvenile deliquency issue. I also deal with the enumeration of the organs of the criminality checks, I pay especially attention to the Police of the Czech Republic and its cooperation with other organs. The bachelor´s work contents also the research that was conducted in the form of questionnare and its aim was to try to outline the development of the juvenile deliquency in the Český Krumlov District and to find out the opinions on this issue from the experts working at the professional police service and that deal with the juvenile deliquency. I addressed personally in the form of anonymous questionnares basically all experts on the youth at the Territorial Department of the Police of the Czech Republic in Český Krumlov including the experts on youth from the District Departments of the Police of the Czech Republic within the stated territorial department in the number of 16 policemen. The questions were focused on the prevention in general and on their opinions and pieces of knowledge from previous praxis and what are their suggestions of furthet possible solution in the field of the precautionary measures. The bachelor´s work fulfilled the given aim. The results of the work could be useful when the new programs of the criminality prevention will be formed. Further, on the base of the research results, I would pay more attention to more qualitative acquaintances of the police experts on the youth with the functioning prevention programs.

Voluntary activities of the Diocese Charity in České Budějovice seen from the clients´ point of view
KOŽANTOVÁ, Miroslava
The topic of my thesis are voluntary activities of the Diocese Charity in České Budějovice seen from the clients´point of view. Voluntary work is not a new phenomenon in a human society. In each culture and society those, who were better off, helped to the less happy, who, due to an illness, poverty or a natural disater, needed help. The objective of the thesis was to find out, what are the demands of clients of the Diocese Charity on volunteers and how these clients evaluate the volunteers´ work. The theoretic part of the thesis deals with the explanation of the terms such as a volunteer, volunteer activities, volunteer service, charity. Furter on, the activities of the Diocese Charity of České Budějovice and of its Volunteer Centre are described, together with its development and programmes. To carry out the practical part, a qualitative research, the polling method, the technique of a half - standardized interview have been applied. The first group of the polled were the coordinators of the volunteers in the institutions using higher number of volunteers for the clients´ services. The other group involved people, who regularly meet a volunteer. These are people suffering from psychic disorders or mentally handicapped people, and the elderly. As a whole, 4 coordinators and 13 clients in four institutions were polled. Even though the volunteers visit other clients as well, not all, considering their state of health or the stage of disability, were able to answer the questions independently, or they declined to take part in the research at all. The results of the research showed that the work of a volunteer is evaluated positively by all the respondents. They value mainly the fact, that there is a person coming to see them, somebody, they can talk to, go for a walk with, go to the theatre or to the cinema with, go shopping. Simply, they can go with a volunteer there, where they cannot go without his attendance. They also appreciate, that the volunteer comes to them, teach them something or helps. From their point of view, a volunteer should be nice and kind, friendly, honest, talkative and should be able and willing to help and try hard to meet the wishes of the client. The coordinators of the volunteers also see the importance of the volunteer work not only for their clients but also for the institutions themselves, since the volunteers´ work helps to improve the level of the social care, to fulfil the leisure time of the clients and to establish new friendly relationships. The results of my thesis will be used by the Volunteer Centre of the Diocese Charity in České Budějovice, where it could help to choose the right volunteers on the basis of the most frequent demands of clients, as it was found out during the research. At the same time the thesis might be seen as an appraisal and acknowledgment of present volunteers expressed by the clients, and also as an inspiration for volunteers to be.

Transport of livestock
VELKOVÁ, Jana
After 1990, and especially after the entry of our country to the European Community requirements of the transport underwent significant changes. Transportation means the movement of animals effected by one or more means of transport and related activities, including loading, unloading, transferring and rest until unloading of animal is done at the place of destination. The aim of the thesis was preparation of literature review about animal transport and evaluation of the protection of animals during loading, transport and unloading ensuring legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union. It also points to the types of vehicles, the amount and kinds of farm animals in the Czech Republic which are most frequently transported the proper handling of animals during loading, unloading and transportation and last but not least, deals with the consequences for non-compliance during transport (causes and types of injuries), legal sanctions for violations of the law during animal transport. The thesis deals with the transportation of livestock in the Slovak Republic and England, using available literature sources. At the end of the thesis, the content of livestock transport course is described, course is mandatory for animal transporters.

Development of antibiotic resistance in the region Písek in 2000-2010
MAREŠOVÁ, Lucie
This bachleor´ s dissertation is aimed to the developement of antibiotical resistance by choosed kinds of bacteria, particulary Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae in the region of Písek and also in the whole Czech Republic during the period 2000-2010. There is described matter of the antibiotical resistance, antimicrobial agents and also information about the EARS-Net system in the beginning of this work. The practical part contains the evaluation of resistance spread in the region of Pisek according to the data of clinical microbiology of Nemocnice Pisek, the spread of resistance in the Czech Republic according to the EARS-Net and also the consumption of individual groups of antibiotics according to the State Institute for Drug Control. Antibiotical resistance is spreading constantly, for example because of inappropriate usage of the antibiotics or insufficient information about pathogens that cause infectious diseases the most frequently.

The Attitude of Experts in Pain Management on the Issue of Burnout Syndroma
BOHDALOVÁ, Helena
The interest in the burnout syndrome issue has been increasing in recent years, particularly in the context of increasing psychosocial and work related stress in the sector of health and social services. The care of patients with chronic pain requires specific approach from the professional, psychological and ethical points of view from pain therapists. Unless a doctor is able to tolerate work related stress or to use mitigating strategies, the burnout syndrome threat occurs. The aim of the present thesis was to find out what the subjective approach to the burnout syndrome issue is among selected algiatry experts including its prevention. Qualitative research was conducted from January to February 2012 in the form of semi structured interview. The research sample consisted of respondents from 10 workplaces involved in chronic pain therapy (5 private, 5 in hospitals). The data were complemented with quantitative questionnaire research (Burnout Syndrome Symptom Inventory ? ?BSSI?) conducted from November 2011 to January 2012 to obtain a deeper insight into the content analyses of the semi structured interviews. The quantitative research sample consisted of 47 doctors from pain management workplaces from the whole Czech Republic. The demographic data were processed by means of basic descriptive statistics. Qualitative interviews were transcribed to text form and consequently analyzed. Score points of the monitored levels of the ?BSSI? questionnaire were then calculated and differences between pair variables (gender, age category, type of practice) tested. The mixed research showed statistically higher rate (p < 0.05) of tendency to burnout syndrome in pain therapists working at hospitals compared to their colleagues from private facilities. No significant differences were found in terms of age, sex, number of children in a family and number of treated patients. The most frequent symptoms of the syndrome in the respondents were irritation, lack of empathy, tiredness or loss of work enthusiasm. The most frequent protective factors are humour, breaks, discussion with colleagues, sport activities, hobbies or spending free time with families.

Determinants influencing the success of an attempt to reduce weight.
HEBÍKOVÁ, Petra
The bachelor's work is concerned on determinants which influence the weight lowering process at people who are reducing their weight. The work is trying to define and describe the most frequent determinants influencing the successful emaciation process. I concerned my work mostly on psychological determinants as stress, motivation, will, volitional behaviour but instincts as well because there has been written a lot about determinants such as sport and diet. Further I tried to find out individual determinants which influence the subject individuals during their weight reduction and within the therapy I tried to adapt the determinants in the way to maximalize the success of emanciation. The research was done by the qualitative method via the five casuistics. Then I used the interview, questionaire about stress presence and Reiffier test. Equally the subjective feelings and individualism of the interviewees were taken into account. Each of the intervieweesprefered different kind of sport, diet and way of relaxation. The results proved that not only he change of diet and beginning with sport but also suitable relaxation leads to weight reduction improvement.

Possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with complications after total hip endoprosthesis in
FEREBAUEROVÁ, Martina
There is an increase of number of the total hip joint prosthesis arthroplasties in last years and also the patient age limit is falling down. This leads (for prosthesis determined lifetime) also to the increasing of the number of re-surgeries because of aseptic release. This kind of surgery is for patient more strenuous than primary surgery and so brings higher risks of the possible complications. Complications are not rare even after the primary surgery of the total hip joint prosthesis arthroplasy. Most frequented complication is higher mentioned aseptic release, which results from the organism reaction to the abrasive PE particles, which fall off the worn joint. Next highly frequented complication is the infection in the total prosthesis area, where the cause could be local or global. The next feared complication is the luxation of the prosthesis after total hip arthtroplasty. This luxation is very soring and the nerve damages are possible. The nerve damage is potential also due the surgery. Next complications: thrombosis embolism, different length of the limbs, active scar tissues, lymphedema, heterotopic ossification, periprosthetic fractures, mechanical damage of the artificial hip components. According to the time of complication occurrence may be complications sorted as: pre-surgery, early, late. Target of this work is mapping of the physiotherapeutic procedures used at the patients with the complications after the total hip joint prosthesis arthroplasty. Next target is the processing of casuistries and physiotherapeutic plan forming by chosen complications. As research array were chosen three probands with different complications. The first proband is patient after re-implatation of total hip joint arthroplasty because of infection, second proband is diagnosed different limb length, third is patient with the active scar tissue. Therapy has been treated by every single proband individually and was fitted individually according to patients diagnosis. Due whole therapy was the unit for comprehensive physical training and physiotherapeutic procedures set to contemporary probands condition. This consists of theoretic part and practical part. Theoretic part deals with topics as hip joint anatomy, hip joint aloplastic and complications, which could because of aloplastic occurred, re-implantation of total prosthesis athroplatsty and in meant problematic used physiotherapeutic procedures. The qualitative research was chosen for the practical part of work. Results are worked out as casuistries using the methods of interview, spectating, secondary data analysis and kinesiological testing. The physiotherapeutic plan design is based to initial kinesiological test. Therapy was treated according to this plan. The output kinesiological test was worked out in the end of therapy and after results evaluation was designed long-term physiotherapeutic plan. The therapy was treated 4-5 weeks to every patient. The results say that by all patients came improvement of the movement extent in the operated hip joint, also to the pain reduce or pain elimination, increasing of the muscle power and the walking stereotype. However, some of the pathological movement stereotypes and muscle shorting still remain or were just partially reduced. Altogether, with the total hip joint prosthesis arthroplasty patients with different complications are connected strong muscular dysbalances and disrupted stereotypes of movement and walking. These changes are caused by antalgic position in the joint. Shortly, if the hip joint is long-term affected, then will be the affect evinced on the global deportment.

Measurement of patients´ personal doses in radiotherapy outside the central beam of ionizing radiation using the electronic personal dosimeter
CHYLÍKOVÁ, Renáta
The introductory part of the diploma thesis primarily focuses on the history of radiotherapy, i.e. what it emerged from and how it developed, as it is one of the most important fields in medicine, especially because thousands of people are irradiated every day due to different tumour and non-tumour diseases. Another reason why ionizing radiation is described is the fact that it is a necessary part of tumour disease irradiation. Ionizing radiation is also connected with radiation protection. This section presents a historical overview of radiation protection, as well as principles and quantities of this field. Furthermore, it focuses on Czech acts, decrees, and government regulations which define various measures governing this issue. Radiation protection forms the basis of patient, workplace, and personnel monitoring. All this is connected with the measurement and evaluation of received personal doses. This brings the thesis to the field of dosimetry, therefore various dosimeters used in practice are described. The aim of this diploma thesis is the measurement of patients? personal doses in head and neck irradiation using the electronic personal dosimeter at the radiotherapy centre of Nemocnice České Budějovice, a. s. The thesis is based on the question of whether irradiation doses that patients with head and neck tumours receive outside the primary radiation beam are negligible. The theoretical part of the thesis uses all available resources from both foreign and Czech literature. The practical part is based on numerical statistics, i.e. a quantitative method. The research was carried out at the radiotherapy centre of Nemocnice České Budějovice, a. s. Irradiation of patients with head and neck tumours was performed on a linear accelerator. Each patient had a mask to which an electronic personal dosimeter was attached during irradiation. Using this dosimeter, it was possible to measure doses received outside the central radiation beam. The measured values were then used to carry out assessment using formulas. Patients who undergo cancer treatment receive relatively high doses of radiation, so my main goal was to measure personal dose equivalents at the reference point. When comparing the percentage of the number of examinations with the web portal Epidemiology of Malignant Tumours in the Czech Republic, it was found that irradiation of the neck is more frequent than irradiation of the head. The total values of personal dose equivalents are relatively high in each patient, but because it is medical treatment, these values are not subject to radiation exposure limits. The comparison of the irradiated areas shows that irradiation of the neck has small values of personal dose equivalents to 1Gy compared to irradiation of the head.

Prevention of deep Venous Thrombosis in nursing Care
CHMELÍKOVÁ, Hana
Annotation: Deep vein thrombosis is created by blood flow slowdown that is caused by non-sufficient movement and also by the lack of fluids. Furthermore there are changes in blood clotting where the tendency for thrombosis can highly occur and the third mechanism of the deep vein thrombosis is the damage of vein endolets, e.g. inflammation or injury. The most frequent deep vein thrombosis affects lower limbs. The prevention in nursing care consists of application of low molecular heparin, bandages of lower limbs and very frequent mobilization of a client, his/her hydration etc. The topic of my bachelor wok is the ?Prevention of deep vein thrombosis in nursing care?. I focused on what steps and precautions do the nurses apply at a client within the prevention of deep vein thrombosis. If the clients know influenced factors of the deep vein thrombosis and whether they follow the rules of the prevention in the home care. The topic was processed on the basis of specific articles together with the special articles and internet sources. The qualitative research was made on the basis of interview which contains two parts. The first research file was created by the clients of the department of internal medicine and the second research sample were nurses working for the internal department. The data were collected at both research files by deep interview. The client ´s interviews were made into two phases. The research questions were answered on the base of questions which were later rewrote for further clarification together with the answers of the respondents which were rewrote in the date category of the research investigation. It is possible to say that out of the results of the research the nurse apply sufficient methods and steps for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis at clients who have such high risk of deep vein thrombosis. The influenced factors of the cause of the deep vein thrombosis are known mainly by clients who are aware of such illness and they have ever come across with it. The clients are fully advised by a nurse and by a doctor about the steps of prevention of the deep vein thrombosis in the home care and they try to follow them.
