Po roce 1990 a zejména po vstupu naší republiky do Evropského Společenství doznaly požadavky na přepravu výrazných změn. Přeprava znamená přesun zvířat prováděný jedním nebo více dopravními prostředky a související činností, včetně nakládání, vykládání, překládání a odpočinku, dokud není dokončena vykládka zvířat v místě určení. Úkolem bakalářské práce je zpracovat literární studii a zhodnotit ochranu zvířat při nakládce, během přepravy a při vykládce zajišťující legislativa České republiky a Evropské unie. Dále poukazuje na typy dopravních prostředků, na množství a druhy hospodářských zvířat, která se v České republice nejčastěji přepravují, na správnou manipulaci zvířat při nakládce, vykládce a během přepravy a v neposlední řadě se také zabývá následky při nedodržování předpisů během přepravy (příčiny a typy úrazů), právní postihy při porušení zákona na přepravu zvířat. Z dostupné literatury se práce zabývá i přepravou hospodářských zvířat na Slovensku a Velké Británii. V závěru je popsán obsah kurzu na přepravu hospodářských zvířat, který je pro přepravce zvířat povinný. After 1990, and especially after the entry of our country to the European Community requirements of the transport underwent significant changes. Transportation means the movement of animals effected by one or more means of transport and related activities, including loading, unloading, transferring and rest until unloading of animal is done at the place of destination. The aim of the thesis was preparation of literature review about animal transport and evaluation of the protection of animals during loading, transport and unloading ensuring legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union. It also points to the types of vehicles, the amount and kinds of farm animals in the Czech Republic which are most frequently transported the proper handling of animals during loading, unloading and transportation and last but not least, deals with the consequences for non-compliance during transport (causes and types of injuries), legal sanctions for violations of the law during animal transport. The thesis deals with the transportation of livestock in the Slovak Republic and England, using available literature sources. At the end of the thesis, the content of livestock transport course is described, course is mandatory for animal transporters.
