Evaluation of the internal environment of the company

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the internal environment of the company. On the basis of acquired information I carried out a financial analysis of the company for the years 2004 - 2006. This part öf my thesis covers the company´s assets and liabilities, the value of woodland, receivables, costs and profits. It also includes a comparison with competitors in the same field. In addition I was also interested in the area of human resource management and to a lesser degree in production and marketing. On the basis of the results I carried out an evaluating of the company´s strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and put forward proposal for a new strategy for the company.

Human Resource Management in Public Administration

This study based upon the research of human resource management in public administration is aiming to summarize the situation in this department. The subject of research was one public administration authority and two local government authorities. The primary research method was a survey that was filled out by 106 interviewees. The data were analyzed separately for each of the authorities in order to map the situation in the sector of human resource management in public administration. According to the results of the survey, we can say that most of the clerks are content with their emplacement and salary. Communication with public adn stressing situtations however proved to be one ot the more unpleasant aspects. Furthermore ther is some insufficiency of awareness and education with all employees. The chief employees should be advised to pay more attention to the matters of better education and motivation of ther subordinates.

Strenghts and weaknesses of the organization's HRM are identified, based on the knowledge acquired from specialized publications; the thesis also contains suggestions and recommendations on how to improve the current situation.

Job analysis in an engineerig company

The thesis deals with two ways how to create information base for the human resource management, represented mainly by a job desctription. There will be described a job analysis, which is officially taken as a fundamental action to efectively conduct all human resource management activities. Second approach described in the text is a model inspired by a procedure of making a job description in practice of an engineering company. The two aproaches are compared and strengths and weaknesses of each of them are mentioned. At the end there are given conclusions concerned about the practical use of both of the approaces.

The purpose of this dissertation is to review the work of the personnel department at a chosen company. The theoretical-methodological part contains the description of the personnel dep. activity with the regard to the importance for a small company. The analytical part includes the analysis of the current process of the individual personnel activities and the description of the revealed weaknesses. The final part summarize the found facts and contains my recommendations to the member of the personnel department.

A Set of Problems connected with Personnel Management in a Chosen Company

The main aim of the thesis is to create a complete overview of particular activities of the human resources politics from the perspective of a modern corporate management. On the basis of theoretical principles developed by the HR management to assess the individual activities in the example of selected company and propose improvements in areas, in which seems deficiencies. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first part of the thesis summarizes the theoretical principles of HR management, which constitute the basis for the evaluation of the HR management in the selected company, referred in the practical part. The second chapter is devoted to the characteristics of the company, which is next featured under the fictitious name of Chemická, a.s.. The third part of the thesis presents a comprehensive view of HR management practice in the watched company. The structure of this part of the most deliberately corresponds theoretical part. Fourth part of the thesis evaluate on the basis of theoretical knowledge the real HR management in the selected company. The HR management is showing no sign of any serious failure. The activities are carried out professionally and secured by sophisticated company directives. The HR management seeks to meet both, corporate and the personal needs and goals. Chemická, a.s. respects in managing their human resources the modern approaches and strengthens so the strongest of the four pillars of business, the human resources.
