Electronic versus writen form of nursing documentation - the wiews and preferences of nurses.
KOMARDINOVÁ, Petra
Abstract This bachelor thesis deals with nursing documentation in electronic and paper forms. Nursing documentation is a part of medical documentation and it is regulated by the same rules. It consists of records about nursing activities performed in respect to the patient. It also contains nursing case history, evaluation of the care of the patient, records about the patient´s condition, discharge and relocation reports and other documents, such as pain scales, Barthel index, Glasgow coma scale, records on bedsores, intake and excretion of liquids, monitoring of vital functions, Norton scale or records about wound treatment. To ensure a quality care of a patient it is very important to keep uniform nursing documentation. The bachelor thesis had four objectives. The first objective was to survey nurses´ opinions of individual types of nursing documentation. The second objective was to find out which type of nursing documentation is preferred by nurses and whether they prefer nursing documentation in paper or electronic form. The third objective was to define the form of nursing documentation used by the surveyed medical facilities. The last objective was to identify problems encountered in the course of introduction of electronic nursing documentation. To achieve those objectives I approached respondents from two medical facilities. Seven respondents answered questions in one-to-one interviews in the retirement home Máj in České Budějovice and the same number of respondents answered questions in one-to-one interviews in the Hospital České Budějovice a.s. The collection of qualitative data consisted in the individual nature of the interviews with the respondents. After the processing the data have shown that respondents from the retirement home Máj expressed their complete satisfaction with the nursing documentation in electronic form. The respondents from the Hospital in České Budějovice preferred nursing documentation on paper, however, they believed that the documentation should be modified. Some of them were interested in trying nursing documentation in electronic form. The results of the bachelor thesis have shown different opinions of the nursing documentation among the respondents. The conclusions from the research may play a key role in decision-making about the introduction of a new documentation or improvement of the already well-established nursing documentation in medical facilities.

Vítek, Lukáš ; Horáček, Jan (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's project deals with photograph position data. On the community website, users may upload digital photographs, comment on individual photographs and rate them based on precision of position. The thesis comprises theoretic information on EXIF, IPCT and GPX points of interest format. Technologies used for application development (including mainly Nette framework) are described in the thesis as well. Other sections focus on individual project development stages from analysis and application draft up to implementation and testing. The final section provides a brief description of existing similar solutions.

Use of photogrammetry expertise in the field of construction and real estate valuation
Slabotinský, Filip ; Klika, Pavel (referee) ; Daňhel, Petr (advisor)
The task of this diploma thesis is to design and test the optimal procedures for taking photos to build a 3D model of a civic building using the programme PHOTOMODELER. Then to determine the specific dimensions of the civic building and compare them with the dimensions received with the help of the basic method of measurement in common building practice, i.e. the method of cross directions (using a tape or a telescopic measuring rod) and the geodetic method of measurement. After that to evaluate these measurements and make the conclusion concerning the accuracy or inaccuracy of measurements received with the help of the 3D model of the compiled programme PHOTOMODELER.
Analysis of the requirements for the implementation of ECM software in the Czech Television
Stejskal, Jan ; Vencovský, Filip (advisor) ; Šperková, Lucie (referee)
The thesis surveys the current situation of the photograph administration in the Czech Television (ČT). In the short term is the ČT going to enquire ECM system, which is supposed to ease working with the photos across the departments. The aim of the thesis is getting the documents for successful launching of such a system. The first part of the thesis describes the current situation. The next shapes the processes, which are in progress in the ČT and analyses them. By the means of dialogues with the employees of the ČT are obtained information needed for definition of required functionality of the system. The third part summarizes the requirements for the system and defines its core functionalities. The output should be obtaining enough information for the provider company, which would either suggest the software solution, or come up with ready-made software with the suggestions of customisations. The main contribution of the thesis is based on the summarization and analysis of the requirements across the departments in the ČT, which should lead to implementation of a complex solution and meeting the requirements set by the employees by this system.
Designing a web application for online photo-stock business
Vávra, Ondřej ; Střížová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Galba, Alexander (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on conceptual design of photo-stock web application, which uses information management to a comprehensive solution to the problem. The first part deals with the problem definition and related areas, as well as theoretical base. There are explained main terms that relate to photo-stock business and web application technologies. Since the proposal is focused on the area of electronic sales, attention here is focused on the current form of e-commerce, statistics and specifics, which arise from the electronic shopping. Then are mentioned characteristics of two methodologies - MMDIS methodology, which focuses on the multidimensional approach to system design and Chackland soft systems methodology. Methodologies and their phases are used to identify areas that need to be addressed in the proposal. Finally, describes the principles for designing successful web applications and basic parts of web audit. The second part is focused on understanding the complex situation that concerns the intention of creating a photo-stock business draft. There are identified lines of business, objectives and strategies of the organization. Based on the company's award is presented a basic specification of the application and the required functionality. Further segmentation is performed by potential customers. System approaches are defined by the root system definitions. Then are introduced analysis of competition and SWOT analysis, which is made from two views of access to the system. Summarized and discussed are economic and technical aspects of the proposal, including the income model. It is performed process system (identify processes, their connections and their information needs). Furthermore, the proposal deals with the possibilities of outsourcing in the data storage and networking basic parts of the system. All this information is transformed into the final design solution. This is outlined in terms of customer, vendor and business perspective. They are presented modified processes that were created in the process analysis. The specification and the design is formulated by questions and answers that bring the system. The following is a brief comparison with competing projects and an outline of further development options. The conclusion includes an appraisal of the work and its benefits.
