Adaptation of the Watermill

The bachelor´s thesis is composed of two parts. In the first part, there is a generally discourse about small water power plants, their structural design, mechanical equipment and economical efficiency and its function is to create the basic conception of the waterwork. The second one deals concretely with the small water power plant in Crhov, that was rebuilt from the original mill by Mr. Petr König in 1990s.
Obnova mlýnu-pily v Běluni u Kohoutova

The thesis deals with the restoration of the mill and sawmill in Běluň. A more detailed processing is aimed at the sawmill as a better preserved parts of the object. On the basis of the obtained or created documents are drawn up individual alternatives of restoration, which solves the activities carried out during the recovery, the changes compared to current situation, the usability of the object and the resulting economic demands.
Historical objects that refers about development of corn and sawmilling in Velké Meziříčí region. Their identification and suggestions for current use

This paper identifies seven objects in Velké Meziříčí region that has traces of historical use as mills or sawmills. Four educational tourist trails were suggested for the purposes of this paper, connecting information about mills and sawmills history and forests and their development in the region. One of the trails was chosen based on different criteria (including the historical value of objects and natural value of the forests) and for this trail was prepared a detailed description of places with map basis. The paper will be used as a basis for construction of new tourist and bike trails in the region.
Dokumentace a návrh obnovy krovu východního křídla mlýna v Bohuslavicích

The work deals with the exploration and documentation of the truss above the eastern wing of the building historic mill in Bohuslavice u Kyjova. It isn't listed building, but it has its historical value and the owners have the incentive to maintain in design and original character of the building. Construction-technical research was determined of the type and extent of damage. On the basis of measurements were made drawings to document the current state. The infested places are marked on the 3D diagrams and accompanied by photographs of damage. The research indicated that the truss isn't in disrepair and the grounds were proposed variants renewal: rehabilitation of the truss by traditional methods, proposal the total replacement truss.
Of the Veselý Family Mill and Dynasty (in Tábor) in the 17th and 18th century (a contribution to The History of Czech Miller?s Trade)

The thesis being presented deals with the oldest history of the Veselý family mill which is situated on the river Lužnice in Tábor. It supplements the previously published studies on the mill history with new and more thorough pieces of knowledge about the mill life and the human fates of its owners since the beginning of the mill?s existence till the end of the 18th century. The thesis is divided into five chapters, it has a constituent of the literary works and sources used register and appendices. The initial part of the thesis provides us with an overview of the literature which is dedicated to the topic of mills and milling industry; it analyzes either archival or physical material sources which is the source of the thesis investigation. The first chapter is focused on the history of mills located in the immediate proximity of the town Tábor. The second chapter is dedicated to the Tábor millers? gild; it also describes the activities of the mill owners, the Veselý family, within the gild. The third chapter processes the oldest history of the mill, the fourth chapter deals with the mill development in the 17th century. The crucial part of the thesis is the last chapter which brings the history of the mill since the year of 1660 closer, since when it had been owned by the Veselý dynasty, till the year of 1800. It describes the family life of the millers, their social status in the town of Tábor, extension of their property and also various disputes and heritage issues. The result of the analysis is summarized in the conclusion.
