Valuation of a Forest
Rumanová, Jana ; Scheuer, Pavel (referee) ; Alexandr, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to explore current approaches used for valuation according to the valuation regulation. The next aim was to choose appropriate method for finding usual price and compare it with the price assessed determined by administrative methods according to Valuation Decree. Comperative method was the chosen method. There are six forest properties from The Czech Republic evaluated in the practical part of the study. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes detected information from the area of valuation of forest.
Monitoring forest land by using the satellite high temporal resolution data in Czechia
Musilová, Romana ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Lysák, Jakub (referee)
Monitoring forest land by using the satellite high temporal resolution data in Czechia Abstrakt Research forest land by using remote sensing data is currently still being developed. This work aimed to evaluate the possibility of using data of high temporal resolution of satellite ENVISAT, specifically MERIS and AATSR sensors. First were identified two model territories, namely Krkonoše and area of Železné hory and Žďárské vrchy. Selected data were preprocessed, then the vegetation indices were calculated, which were used to describe the behavior of forest during the growing cycle, assessment of their health condition and humidity using AATSR data. Anothe part deals with a simple algorithm that would allow the highlight areas of forest to MERIS images. In the end I made a comparison of selected indices of monitoring forest land that type of data. Keywords: remote sensing, forest land, MERIS, AATSR, Envisat

Pavlíčková, Eva ; Franková, Martina (advisor) ; Drobník, Jaroslav (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the current legal regulation and the issues related to the land intended to fulfill the functions of a forest. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the legal regulations and to provide proposals how to solve the deficiencies. In addition, other legal regulations are also presented. Particular terms are gradually introduced and forests are characterized from the point of categorization. The most extensive part of this thesis is the third chapter which focuses on the protection of the land intended to fulfill the functions of a forest and related institutions. The forest is defined as a significant landscape element and a part of natural protected areas. Furthermore, the principle of sustainable development is mentioned and the instruments used for forest's protection are also defined. A practical example of awards water treatment water flow on forest land as opposed to possible damage to property resulting from floods
Bureš, Petr
Object and purpose of the published post titled "A practical example of awards water treatment water flow on forest land as opposed to possible damage to property resulting from floods," is to design and appreciation of nature nearby flood protection measures the water flow in extraregion community with subsequent comparison to figures of the investment costs of building potential damage to real property which resulted from the flood flow (flood wave) in the urban community. The article discusses the possibility of using extraregion, forest land in the valley cheese to increase the retention capacity of the landscape, water features enhance the forest, increasing supplies of underground water and its relevance for forest ecosystems, and consequently contribute to the strengthening of flood protection active urban communities located in the catchment area pet stream. Active approach in solving the problems published in the watershed can lead to significant reduction or minimized damage to real property during flood flows in the municipalities.
Revitalization study for small agricultural-forest catchment
ČASTA, Jiří
Revitalization generally are activities leading to the recovery of ecosystems in the landscape and their stabilization. In this thesis are proposed changes for revitalization of small agro-forestry basin stream called Branná significantly disrupted trough conditions, the banks and a river basin, including throughput migration of aquatic animals.
