Electronic banking

Dissertation purposes Analysis of electronic banking concerning the pricing policy of Czech banks. The banks with long-term history are compared with "new" banks that are still not so stabilized on the market. The dissertation is focused especialy on the monthly fee that the client has to pay when using the services of these banks. Methods Presentive analysis is used in all of this dissertation which interprets data obtained by an interview and bank's databases. Comparative method is used in the analytical section to clearly interpret processed data. Results The comprehensive analysis of six Czech banks and it's pricing policy of electronic banking is the outcome of the dissertation. The conclusion and data interpretation can be used for the clients when choosing a new bank. The analysis is based on the monthly fee that the clients have to pay in every selected bank with respect to their requests.
Electronic banking as a strategic advantage

This thesis is a comparative efficiency study of implementation of payment operations via electronic banking and bank branch network. The thesis used data of specific international bank operating in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with basic products, payment systems, describe the main forms of electronic banking and part is devoted to the economic benefits of electronic banking for the bank and for the client. The practical part consists of a cost analysis of payment operations realized via by electronic banking and bank branches. In conclusion of this thesis, these costs are compared and the result is a proposed new bank strategy.

The bachelor work deals with single types of the direct banking in Czech Republic. I analysed both the working way of electronic (direct) banking and the security of these systems. I dealt with the low-cost banks as well and their cooperation with the classical banks. The purpose of the analysis was to determine the main differences in the direct banking of the chosen institutions mainly from the point of view of clients, customers' comfort, range of offer and the security of services. Another part of the work deals with the position of the low-cost banks on the Czech market and their development in the future.
Electronic banking as a strategic advantage

This thesis is a comparative efficiency study of financial transactions executed through the electronic banking system and through the bank branch system. It is based on bank model with a defined market share in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided excepting formal parts into two main chapters. The first chapter attends purely to electronic banking theory, its distribution channels and continues legislative and normative rules that are associated with this issue. The practical part consists of transaction cost analyses of these banking systems. Based on designed initial system architectures and study presumptions are through analyses of all related costs calculated the total transaction costs of these mentioned systems. Knowing the amount of fixed and variable costs are determined the limiting points of these strategies, where the transaction costs are equal. At theoretical level, this determines the profitability of the strategy. The conclusion compares the analysis results, market research and current trends in banking.
Electronic banking in the Czech Republic and its possibilities

The aim of this bachelor thesis is an analyze of the current state, formation and development of electronic banking in the Czech Republic. The most extensive part describes available forms of electronic banking in the Czech Republic, it means credit cards, homebanking, internet, telephone and GSM banking and discusses their advantages, disadvantages, and safety of each of them. In the end not missing a summary of advantages and disadvantages of electronic banking for both client and bank, and also the evaluation ot the current situation in the Czech Republic.
The use of electronic banking in the accountancy

This thesis deals with the use of electronic banking in the accountancy. The goal is to introduce the concept of electronic banking and its impact on accounting. The thesis describes the development of accounting and the impact of computer technology on the processing of accounting records and financial documents. The term of electronic signature and electronic brand are explained, as well as the possibilities of their applicaton. The thesis is to define the various forms of client (company) communication with the bank institutions and development of electronic banking as well as a summary of its advantages and disadvantages. The aim of the practical part is to evaluate the current state of direct banking service in the Czech Republic. The appendix includes a table with a list of e-filing of chosen particular tax types and overview of the structure of the questionnaire on the use of electronic banking.
The current state and development prospects of internet banking

The thesis deals with the most recent and discussed issue of the safe provision of direct banking services. Although surveys indicate that users of banking online services do not show much concern about the safety of the internet banking, the reality is quite different. Banking houses put a lot of emphasis on the information embargo and their clients will never learn about the majority of attacks. Due to higher demands for the safety of direct banking applications compared to conventional applications, made available over the Internet are subject to increasing security demands, and there are a number of recommendations and standards that should be followed for the Internet banking to be considered truly safe. However, even if there is a full compliance with all ISO standards and the situation in security remains critical. Therefore, there is a need for broader use of security methods. This thesis carries out a very comprehensive analysis of all existing security methods and recommends new security methods. For better clarity, the new method embedded in the context of existing and they are viewed from different angles as the effectiveness of authentication methods to the threats, the appropriateness of methods according to the segment, application methods in various channels, customer relationship and hardware components of the method, comfort, etc. Finally, I use the Gartner's chart to better illustrate the advantages of the proposed methods.

This bachelor thesis is devoted to analysis of the current state of electronic banking and its possibilities in the Czech Republic. The main objectives are to familiarize readers with the concept of electronic banking and its forms. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept of electronic banking, its history, advantages and disadvantages for both the bank and for its clients. The second chapter explains the various forms of electronic banking: Credit cards, telephone banking, mobile banking, PDA banking, TV banking and internetbanking. The third chapter is focused on internet banking, and compares it in terms of security and range of services for selected banks. The fourth chapter includes a questionnaire aimed at determing the level of usage of the electronic and internet banking by citizens of the Czech Republic

It analyzes the spectrum of direct banking products offered by the Czech banking sector, such as payment cards, telephone banking, mobile banking, internet banking, PDA banking, self-service banking area and television banking. The thesis also describes the risks of direct banking and tries to predict future development of electronic banking.
Classification of the payment instruments and their advantages for the client

The aim of the work is to compare various types of payment instruments in domestic and foreign payment systems. I compare their advantages and disadvantages from the view of the firm client. International and also domestic business brings a lot of risks, which firms have to face to. They can eliminate the risks by using various types of payment and security instruments. I compare the fees for providing payments in two banks {--} Volksbank CZ, a. s, and Oberbank AG.
