The collected data were used for the calculation which quantified the economic impact of the expenses of the visitors on several indicators of Czech economy and Liberec District economy productivity. Results: The thesis' results claim that 48th Jizerska 50 in year 2015 was visited by 13 183 visitors. Their expenses related to this event generated growth of Czech economy by more than 60,5 million CZK, out of which almost 18,5 million resulted in overall...

Title: Analysis of the techniques and methodology of cross-country skiing for the visually impaired. Aim: The aim of this thesis is to create a set of training exercises in the snow for practicing the classic technique of cross-country skiing for the visually impaired. Methods: It is an empirical and theoretical work, which is based on an analysis of the movement of the visually impaired in cross-country skiing of classical technique. The structure of the work is led as qualitative research. To achieve the objective, we used observations, field measurements, photo and video documentation through digital cameras GoPro brand. Based on the analysis of movement each proband was evaluated from particular monitored exercises and based on the evaluation they got recommendations for training exercises on the snow. Results: With processing and subsequent evaluation of equilibrium and coordination exercises control, we found that visual impairment has a decisive influence on the balance on one ski and coordination of arms and legs which is the source of technical shortcomings. Conclusion: Based on the results of our work, we proposed a supplementary preparatory equilibrium and coordination exercises. Keywords: visual impairment, classic technique, cross-country skiing

Wűrzová, Anna ; Vilikus, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Tuka, Vladimír (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on nutrition indicators for competitive and profesional cross-country skiers. The main aim of the thesis is to describe the importance of the sports nutrition for endurance athletes and to compare different diets for two differently capable groups of cross-country skiers. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part comprises information about the physiology of cross-country skiing, in particular the important function of metabolism and morphological characterization of the cross-country skier. Furthermore, it describes specific requirements of the endurance athlete on a diet, individual macronutrients and micronutrients and describes proper diet supplements for endurance sport. The practical part summarizes results received on the basis of evaluation of the questionnaires about the characterization of the training and respondent's four-days-menus. The research data collection involved eight profesional and eight competitive cross-country skiers from the age 20 to 32. It was established that the profesional cross-country skiers have higher training capacity and therefore higher expenditure of energy than competitive cross- country skiers. The sportsmen's menu evaluation referred to the diet differences between both groups. The recommended energy intake...

Malíková, Nikola ; Gnad, Tomáš (advisor) ; Chrástková, Martina (referee)
Title: Analysis of cross country skier's practice coefficients and its impact on his endurance. Objectives: The main goal of the research is to evaluate and analyze an athletic preparation of a cross country skier in younger junior and older junior category and its impact on their endurance Methods: The case study, in which we use the analysis method and comparation method to evaluate actual practice the athletic preparation of two competitors. Results: After the evaluation of an athletic preparation based on a comparison between training coefficients of two chosen competitors and recommended coefficients for given age categories, we found out that the competitors do not meet the recommended values. Those values have provably positive impact on their endurance. Another finding shows that even though the plan from a coach is not progressive, competitors have good results in their competitions. Title: To compare training systems of two Sport Grammar Schools with cross country specialization. Objectives: This piece of work will compare training systems of two training groups aimed on cross country skiing based on Grammar Schools in Jilemnice and Jablonec nad Nisou. It will also justify which of two training systems is more successful in education of future professional cross country skiers. Methods:The dissertation is designed as a case study analysing training systems of two Sport grammar schools in Jablonec and Jilemnice and comparison with suggested methodology of cross country skiing stated by Ilavsky (2005). For the most accurate conclusions are compared chosen aspects in training diaries of cross country skiers within 4 following seasons. This enable to track a development of athletes and analyse which of those training techniques have the most significant impact on their performance. From theory of experts and sports methodology should be included volume of work-load per hour, the amount of training units carried out in specialized conditions (ski, rolled ski, imitation) and the percentage amount of training in the highest 3rd intensity. Further analyse of the training indicators confirm the assumed hypothesis. Conclusions:There is created table and graph showing race results and...

Opočenská, Tereza ; Česák, Petr (advisor) ; Šimková, Michaela (referee)
Title: Nutritional strategy for long-distance cross-country skiers Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to answer as the clearest as possible the following research questions: 1. How appropriate diet affects the internal environment of the body long-distance cross-country skiers? 2. What composition of the diet and supplements is most suitable for long-distance cross-country skiers? 3. When to start eating regime that will help competitors prepare the body for the completion of remote cross-country skiing? Methods: We used the research of czech and foreign literature. We searched the scientific studies related to our theme through the service Google Scholar. We also drew from licensed Internet databases (PubMed, SPORTDiscus, Scopus, ProQuest, OvidSP, JSTOR). Results: We found that long-distance cross-country skiers should follow the macronutrients and micronutrients content in connection with food intake. The ratios of nutrients taken depends on whether it is a period before the race, during the race or after its completion. However, a key role in all three phases perform carbohydrates. Optimal nutrition strategy should start no later than 1-3 days before the race. Keywords: sport, exercise, cross-country skiing, nutrition, food supplements, endurance, performance

Franc, Jan ; Gnad, Tomáš (advisor) ; Jindra, Matouš (referee)
Title: The difference in load of the body between the rides on roller skis and cross-country skis. Objectives: The aim of work is to determine the difference in load of the body between the rides on roller skis and ride on cross-country skis in skating and classic techniques. Methods: The work is conceived as a case study. It is a quantitative research carried out on the basis of comparing the values of heart rate and blood lactate concentration at one participant. The values were compared between the roller and cross-country skis when skating as well as classical techniques. Results: By the heart rate measuring and lactate concentration, the difference was detected between the roller and cross-country skis. We came to the result that the roller skis place less demands on the load of the body than cross- country skis which runners use to ski in winter. Keywords: cross-country skiing, cross-country skis, roller skis, lactate, heart rate
