The Quality of soil AND DEGRADATION OF SOILS. THE CASE - STUDY OF SOME ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES
Poništiak, Štefan ; Šefrna, Luděk (advisor) ; Zádorová, Tereza (referee)
This diploma thesis inquires into the quality of the soils at 30 archaeological sites from the periods from Late Bronze Age to Early Bronze Age (1 250 - 450 BC). The aim of the thesis is to prove the dependence of the ratio of the cultivated cereals on the soil and other environmental factors in various regions. The secondary aim is the general observation of the changes, which could appear from this period until now. These changes are represented by the erosion, researched by various methods. The overview of the literature aims to the short description of the archaeological sources from the period, various approaches to the soil evaluation until present as well as information about the soil erosion and tools for its research. The conclusion of the thesis is that the ratio of the cultivated cereals depends mostly on the sea level, secondly on other environmental factors (included the soil quality). The results of the thesis are influenced by number of factors, discussed in the conclusion Keywords: soil quality, cereals, archaeological sites, perimeter of kilometre, soil erosion, late bronze age, early iron age
VUMOP - 1601
Hanuš, Jan ; Fabiánek, Tomáš ; Pivovarník, Marek
The object of the hyperspectral campaign VUMOP 1601 was collect a new data from areas with significant affection of soil erosion and verified of the methods from campaign VUMOP 1601. During scanning was used whole spectral range of FLIS – Flying Laboratory of Imaging Spectroscopy. Selection of locality and term for aircraft scanning was established according of phenological phases and selected species of crops.\n\n
Vyhodnocení erozní ohroženosti pozemků a návrh řešení na vybraném projektu komplexní pozemkové úpravy
HORNÍK, Jan
The thesis is focused on the evaluation of erosion risks and design solutions to selected comprehensive landscaping project. As a region of interest for the job is selected cadastral areas Rychnov u Nových Hradů and Dlouhá Stropnice, which lies in Region of South Budweis. For calculations of values is washed off using a universal soil loss equation by Wischmeier and Smith. The plots of erosion rate greater than the permissible quantity of proposed erosion control measures such as erosion control crop rotation, contour cultivation and erosion limits.
Influence of the landscape management on erosion and runoff conditions of the catchment
Hájek, Daniel ; Uhrová,, Jana (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
Aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of landscape structure on soil erosion and runoff conditions of given area with help of digital elevation model and relevant GIS data. Analyses of soil erosion by water and runoff were processed for current conditions and several other variations. Based on this analyses and results was performed an evaluation of all model variations.
Comparison of the effects of rain on the old and new rainfall simulator
Banzetová, Diana ; Vrba, Jan (referee) ; Milerski, Rudolf (advisor)
This dissertation is focused to modeling of the rainfall in laboratory conditions by the rainfall simulator invented in VUT Brno. Results of the measuring are compared with measured values of the original rainfall simulator located in VVU VSH VUT in Brno by the Kninicky village in 1976-1980. Dissertation verifies rightness of substituting the natural rain with the rainfall simulator on bare soil in the original location, kinetic energy of the rain drops is substituted with the energy gained from the weight of the drops - the flow. Generally the dissertation determines the possibilities of the rainfall simulator's current location.
Teritorial system of ecological stability consistent to erosion control and flood protection in land consolidation
Strádalová, Lucie ; Kovář,PhD, Michal (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis evaluates the elements of the Territorial system of stability, which were designed within the plan of the common facilities of comprehensive landscaping, with regards to the elements of the erosion and flood protection. Within the scope of this work there was proceeded the hydrological analysis on the parts of the watersheds of the specific cadastral territories of Lichnov and Šardice. esign of the ÚSES´s elements within the KPÚ at specific cadastral territories was further evaluated in terms of area of the individual elements anEcological stability the change after the design of these elements.
Soil anad water conservation in Derensky stream using the digital elevation model
Průša, Jaromír ; Vašinová, Kateřina (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The theme of the work is the creation of the characteristics of the erozních and drainage conditions in the cadastral territory of the commune and the subsequent proposal Kujavy erosion control measures. Analysis of erozion ratios was processed using GIS method of the grid. Characteristics of runoff ratios was carried out for major service area of the critical points (SPKB) using model DesQ and numbers of the CN. In the design of erosion control measures was drawn up in the economic evaluation.
The assessment of efficiency of the system common facillities in Hať and Darkovice cadastral areas
Moravcová, Aneta ; Ing. Aleksandra Ručková,PhD., (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The target of the diploma thesis was the assessment of efficiency of the system of common facilities in Hať and Darkovice cadastral areas. Digital model of elevation was made by software Atlas DMT. Average soil loss by soil erosion of given subbasins was evaluated by ArcGis tools before and after the design of conservation measures. Polder’s efficiency was evaluated also. Another part of thesis offers alternative design of erosion and flood control.
A study of erosion control system using biotechnical conservation measures
Moravec, Jiří ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis was the study of soil erosion control with application of system of semi-natural measures in chosen small catchment. Digital elevation model was generated and average soil loss was determined by ArcGis tools at each erosion parcel . Design of erosion control at chosen erosion risked locality was create in Microstation software and InRoads utilities. As a type of enviromental erossion control mesures was chosen a system of a earthfill dams with the sedimentation area in combination with grassing. The thesis efforts to point the differences between the possible optimal solution and a compromise solution which respects the requirements of agricultural entities. The solution respects the trend of water retention in landscape and use of low cost measures.
Flood prevention by using biotechnical measures
Pospíšil, Jan ; Pavlík, František (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis investigates the design of complex systems-natural flood control measures in the area of the cadastral municipality Jeseník nad Odrou. Based on the analysis and exploration of the territory, it was suggested a possible solution by erosion and hydrological GIS tools. To identify areas at risk of erosion and runoff conditions were used a digital elevation model, Wischmeier-Smith equation and model DesQ. Subsequently, the effectiveness was evaluated by comparing the results navžených measure erosion and runoff conditions before and after measures.
