Business Plan: Beauty studio
Svobodová, Martina ; Lešetický, Ondřej (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to prove whether is this business plan a feasible project or not. Based on the conclusion the entrepreneur will decide to go for the realization or not. The subject of the thesis is a beauty studio with already certain amount of current clients however still with substantial space for improvement. To reach better profitability there are calculations, analysis and set up of a new strategy carried out.

Numerický model saltace kulovité částice v kanále s příčně skloněným drsným dnem
Lukerchenko, Nikolay ; Piatsevich, Siarhei ; Chára, Zdeněk ; Vlasák, Pavel
The paper deals with 3D numerical model of the spherical particle saltation in the rectangular channel with rough bed and the effect of lateral slope of the bed. The stochastic method based on the concept of contact zone is used for the calculation of particle-bed collision. Some examples of calculation are presented, in particular, the effect of transverse tilted bed on the particles sorting. The beams of the trajectories of particles starting saltation from one point are calculated. The centrelines of the beams can be approximated by straight lines for low and moderate values of the bed transverse slope and the angles between centrelines and the stream direction depend on the lateral slope of the bed.

Some remarks to the flow in radial inflow turbine cascades of very low aspect ratio
Dvořák, Rudolf
Paper completes previous papers of the same author in suggesting methods of calculating secondary flow losses. It also suggests modification of the Reynolds number enabling correlation of data in low aspect ratio turbine cascades

Differences in speech processing of male, female and child voices
Přibil, Jiří
This paper is focused on the description of differences in speech signal processing of male, female and child voices. Some problems with spectra smoothing of high female and child voices are discussed. Attention is also paid to right setting of input parameters in speech spectrogram calculation.

Residual Strains of Arteries as Forensic Index
Adámek, T. ; Horný, L. ; Chlup, Hynek ; Žitný, R.
It has been known for long time that arteries are pre-strained in situ. These residual strains play crucial role in arterial load-bearing capacity. However, to the best of authors’ knowledge they have never been considered from forensics point of view. This paper concerns a possibility of employing the longitudinal pre-strain of human aortas as an indicator of human subject age. Lengths of abdominal aorta were measured within autopsies before and after segment resection. Longitudinal stretch ratio was calculated for 45 male and 12 female cadavers. It was found that both male and female data samples give approximately the same mean of the stretch ratio = 1.2. The correlation coefficients between the pre-strain and age were R=-0.7926, R=-0.8684 in male and female samples, respectively. Linear regression equation with confidence intervals was employed. The correlation between pre-strain and age seems to be suitable statistics to be used in forensic sciences.

The creation of online presentation of bezzavazku.cz project in chosen Content Management System (CMS)
REINDLOVÁ, Zuzana
The aim of this diploma theses is to briefly describe and compare Content Management Systems (CMS) WordPress, Joomla and Drupal and to create a web page for "bezzavazku.cz "project. This web page was created in CMS which was chosen on the base of the CMS comparison. For better understanding of customer's wants the market survey was made. Outcomes of this survey were took into consideration when creating the websites. After all the entire project was evaluated and return of the investment (ROI) was calculated.

The Spatial Aspects of Selected Forms of Tourism in Moravia
FRANCOVÁ, Vendula
The aim of my work was to evaluate the areal aspects of the selected forms of the tourism for seniors in Moravia. I used various methods. First I specifieded the area, then I chose forms (golf, spa, wellness and cultural tourism) and set up the database for calculations and analysis in the programme ArcGIS. At last I defined suggestions for the next development.

Akustic analysis of male vocal tract for Czech vowels
Dedouch, K. ; Švec, J. G. ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Kršek, P. ; Havlík, R. ; Vokřál, J.
The paper describes finite element models of male vocal tract designed from magnetic resonance images taken during phonation of all Czech vowels. First three formants calculated by frequency-modal analysis of the FE models are in good agreement with the data known from the Czech Phonetics.

Simulace lidského hlasu s využitím MKP modelu vokálního traktu
Horáček, Jaromír ; Griffond-Boitier, F.
Finite element models of male vocal tract for Czech vowel /a/ are analyzed and used for numerical simulation of phonation. The models were designed from the MRI the subject during phonation. The acoustic signals for the vowel /a/ are simulated using the transient analysis. For excitation of the supraglottal spaces the intraglottal pressure or airflow rate generated by the aeroelastic model of vocal folds self-oscillations is used. The frequency and time response functions calculated near the lips and in front of the mouth are compared with acoustic measurements.

Počítačová simulace lidského hlasu s využitím aeroelastického modelu hlasivek a MKP modelu vokálního traktu člověka
Horáček, Jaromír ; Šidlof, Petr ; Švec, J. G. ; Griffond-Boitier, F.
The developed finite element (FE) model of real male vocal tract that corresponds to the Czech vowel /a/ is used for numerical simulation of phonation. The FE model was designed from the magnetic resonance images (MRI) of the subject during phonation. The acoustic signals for the vowel /a/ are simulated using the transient analysis of the FE model in time domain. For excitation of the acoustic supraglottal spaces the intraglottal pressure generated by the aeroelastic model of vocal folds self-oscillations is used. The frequency and time response functions are calculated in front of the mouth.
