The thesis titled Evaluation design therapy of neurogenic disorders of language in clinical speech therapy aims to find out what effect the speech reeducation to improve communication skills in people with acquired neurogenic communication disorders speech. Next, determine whether therapy plays a role during client environment, if the success rate of therapy affected patient's condition and the extent to which the clients are motivated to therapy. The theoretical part summarizes the findings from the literature on neurogenic communication disorders, aphasia and dysarthria. Each chapter is devoted to the terminological definition and definition, etiology, symptoms (for aphasia), classification, diagnostics and therapy. The practical part deals with the research survey. There are set targets mentioned methodology, research sample characteristics and place of the investigation. Following processing of four case studies. Which describes the therapy sessions and individual work with clients. KEYWORDS Neurogenic speech disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, logopedic therapy

Ondrejková, Monika ; Klenková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Kopečný, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with speech therapy for people with acquired brain injury. The theoretical part consists of three chapters that acquaint readers with the theoretical framework necessary to understand the range of problems examined. It approximates the issue of origin and effects of this disease and refers to attitude in therapy that can be realized to people with this impairment. The research part of the work puts a goal to analyze the possibilities of speech therapy of selected persons with aphasia. The resulting data agree on the fact that for effective speech therapy is necessary on the one hand an individual approach but also motivation of patient is very important. The thesis also includes creating a custom set of exercises which has confirmed the effectivness of the development of cognitive functions in persons with aphasia. The empirical part is based on the qualitative research which was realized by techniques of participant observing, interviewing, questionnaire survey, analysing progress and outcomes of activities, documentation and literature.

On semantic paraphasias
Žihlová, Lenka ; Stehlíková, Olga (advisor) ; Hudáková, Andrea (referee)
The bachelor's thesis On semantic paraphasia summarizes available interdisciplinary literature which deals with semantic parphasias and lexical semantics in general. It describes the lexical-semantic system and its possible neuronal errors by special populations. The thesis is focused on lexical substitutions and especially on semantic paraphasias produced by people suffering from aphasia. It describes possibilities of diagnostics and therapy of lexical-semantic errors by aphasic patients. It mentions examples of semantic paraphasias produced by czech aphasic patients. This thesis presents examples of semantic errors produced by Czech aphasic patients. Klíčová slova aphasia, paraphasia, lexical semantics, neurolinguistics
Proposal of therapeutic materials for clients diagnosed with aphasia
Maňáková, Kateřina ; Durdilová, Lucie (advisor) ; Klenková, Jiřina (referee)
The thesis with the topic of proposing new therapeutic materials for clients diagnosed with aphasia brings more profound understanding of separate field of speech therapy, which is aphasiology. The first part of the thesis introduces the theoretical basis to the issues of aphasia, concentrates on fundamental definition of aphasia, etiology and symptomatology. Moreover, the thesis describes the possibilities of aphasia therapy and lastly, it covers the differential diagnostics of aphasia. The second part of the thesis covers in detail the Boston Classification System of Aphasia, introduces to the reader the foundations that were the basis for the propositions of the therapeutic materials. The second part describes in detail the very process of designing therapeutic materials in general and it also provides concrete propositions of such materials with possible applications. The appendix includes examples of proposed materials, both theoretically explained and physically created for the reader to examine.

Thesis title: People suffering from communication disorders in general practitioner's office Author: Mgr. Květa Trčková Department: The Department of Special Education Subject: Special Education Supervisor: Doc. PaedDr. Jiřina Klenková, Ph.D. The thesis focuses on the problematics of communication disorders and in what way general practitioners encounter it in their office, especially with specific number of their patients considering their age, sex, and active speech/language pathology care. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part describes characteristics of communication disorders which are encountered by a general practitioner on a daily basis. More attention is given to aphasia, as there is a subsequent qualitative research. The research part is divided into a quantitative research that verifies set hypotheses, and a qualitative research which shows the communication disorder from a more specific point of view by using five different case interpretations. The research file included 1054 patients who came in the general practitioners office during 22 months, usually repeatedly. There have been four hypotheses set for verification. The research based on these four hypotheses allowed us to conclude in this: Hypothesis H 1: At least every tenth person coming...

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after the ischemic stroke Objectives: The main aim of this study was to verify my ability to work with the patient, his examination, making conclusions, proposed treatment and its subsequent implementation. Other aim was mapping of the literature on the subject. Methods: The first part of my bachelor thesis is theoretical and it is aimed on stroke. There are described anatomy of cerebral artery, knowledge about stroke, its clinical symptoms and treatment options in this part. The description of spasticity with its influence on therapy and its treatment and the techniques used in physiotherapy are also there. The Brocca aphasia is described in the last section. The second part is the case report of a patient P. V. with diagnosis: ischemic stroke with dextral symptomatology. This special part is based on two weeks' work with the patient in the hospital (Ústřední vojenská nemocnice - Vojenská fakultní nemocnice Praha). This work lasted from 9th January 2012 to 3rd February 2012.
