Visual odometry for robotic vehicle Car4
Szente, Michal ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Najman, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with algorithms of visual odometry and its application on the experimental vehicle Car4. The first part contains different researches in this area on which the solution process is based. Next chapters introduce theoretical design and ideas of monocular and stereo visual odometry algorithms. The third part deals with the implementation in the software MATLAB with the use of Image processing toolbox. After tests done and based on real data, the chosen algorithm is applied to the vehicle Car4 used in practical conditions of interior and exterior. The last part summarizes the results of the work and address the problems which are asociated with the application of visual obmetry algorithms.
Toolbox for neuronal datasets
Malý, Lukáš ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Lamoš, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create toolbox for functional magnetic resonance (fMRI) and electroencefalography (EEG) data processing in MATLAB enviroment using SPM software package. The first part describes the physiological origin of these data at neuronal level, basics of magnetic resonance imaging, principles of fMRI experiment, preprocessing and processing of fMRI data, their interpretation, then function and principles of EEG are described and at the end is simultaneous EEG-fMRI described. In the second part of the thesis features of each tool from Neural Data Toolbox (NDTb) are described.
Semantic Similarity of Terms
Novák, Ján ; Šilhavá, Jana (referee) ; Schmidt, Marek (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is processing knowledge about Automatic Term Recognition and methods of computing term similarity according to co-occurence and on ground of this knowledge suggest and implement system for computing semantic similarity of terms from large collection of documents.
Multimedia Diff - Audio Documents
Komadel, Michal ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This work describes development of a diff tool working with audio files containing general sound such as music, speech and other sounds. There are presented facts from different domains of science related to sound, such as psychoacoustics, speech recognition and automatic music genre categorisation. This paper also contains description of some diff algorithms and external tools needed for development of the goal application. Moreover, there is introduced design and implementation of the application, settings used for sound features extraction and evaluation of attained results.
Methods of Document Summarization on the Web
Belica, Michal ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The work deals with automatic summarization of documents in HTML format. As a language of web documents, Czech language has been chosen. The project is focused on algorithms of text summarization. The work also includes document preprocessing for summarization and conversion of text into representation suitable for summarization algorithms. General text mining is also briefly discussed but the project is mainly focused on the automatic document summarization. Two simple summarization algorithms are introduced. Then, the main attention is paid to an advanced algorithm that uses latent semantic analysis. Result of the work is a design and implementation of summarization module for Python language. Final part of the work contains evaluation of summaries generated by implemented summarization methods and their subjective comparison of the author.
Digital Image Watermarking
Šujan, Miroslav ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the problem of static digital watermarking in frequency domain. It is a process of adding secret information to the original data without any negative influence to them, while in the same time making sure that the identification and hidden watermark cannot be removed easily. The main aim of this thesis is to sum up the current techniques of watermarking, to carry out of two watermarking techniques and a test of resistance to attacks against them.
Advanced Methods to Multimedia Data Protection
Mikulčík, Ondřej ; Zukal, Martin (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
To protect the the copyright of multimedia works have been developed watermarking techniques, that insert an invisible watermark to the original data. The aim of this thesis was to explore modern watermarking techniques, choose three of them and realize them. Also test them, evaluate their properties and possibly improve them. All methods insert a watermark into luminance component of the original image, and work with binary or black and white watermark. All techniques work in the frequency domain using discrete wavelet transform. For the implementation of methods, have been developed software named "Watermarking" that has been programmed in JAVA Version 7. The first chapter describes the types of watermarks, the general process of insertion and extraction, watermarking systems and important feature requests of embedded water- marks. In addition, qualitative methods are mentioned for their comparisons and testing. The chapter also contains a theoretical description of the used transformations and functions. In the second chapter is described the user interface of the software "Water- marking". Chapters three and four contain a theoretical description of the implemented methods and description of implementation of insertion and extraction processes of the watermark. Also there are discussed the exact procedures for testing, the sample data, and the results which are clearly displayed in the tables. The fifth chapter discusses in detail the results obtained in testing the robustness of the watermark, using the software StirMark. In the conclusion are evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of methods and quality parameters.
Hledání sémantické informace v textových datech s využitím latentní analýzy
Řezníček, Pavel
The first part of thesis focuses on theoretical introduction to the methods of text mining -- Information retrieval, classification and clustering. LSA method is presented as an advanced model for representing textual data. Furthermore, the work describes source data and methods for their preprocessing and preparation used to enhance the effectiveness of text mining methods. For each chosen text mining method there are defined evaluation metrics and used already existing, or newly implemented, programs are presented. The results of experiments comparing the effects of different preprocessing type and use of different models of the source data are then demonstrated and discussed in the conclusion.

Estimation of the Apparent Source Size of Solar Radio Emissions Using SVD: An Application to Type III Radio Bursts at Long Wavelengths Observed by STEREO and Wind
Krupař, Vratislav ; Santolík, Ondřej ; Cecconi, B. ; Maksimovic, M.
Type III radio bursts are intense solar radio emissions. They are frequently observed by the S/Waves instruments on-board the STEREO spacecraft. We describe a wave propagation analysis using the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) which can be directly applied to spectral matrices measured by the High Frequency Receiver (HFR; a part of the S/Waves experiment). We have found an empirical relation between the decomposed spectral matrices and apparent source sizes for waves with a low degree of polarization. We present a joint observation of a type III radio burst by the STEREO and Wind spacecraft during small separation distances. We obtain consistent results for the apparent source size and k-vector direction using different analysis method for the measurements of the STEREO and Wind spacecraft. We demonstrate that SVD can be an effective tool for the wave analysis of radio emissions with very extended sources.
