Middle ages people awareness about barefoot in South Bohemia
KULTOVÁ, Lenka
Recently, "barefoot" is getting increasingly popular all over the world. Most people have already heard about it but, in fact, their knowledge is still very limited. They possibly have a notion of barefoot as a healthy way how to walk ans some of them might have even tried to practise it. However, their barefoot efforts so far have mostly been ad-hoc, far from being professional and systematical. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out how much people in the middle age category are informed about this topic. The theoretical part deals with the foot anatomy, reflex points on the sole and also examines how we use our feet. The practical part evaluates the participants´answers to my own questionnaire that tries to analyze people´s awareness of barefoot walking and their practical experience with it. Each question is duly commented and discussed.

Motivational Resources of Mental Health Support in Middle-aged People
VAŠINOVÁ, Iveta
In this Bachelor diploma paper I dealt with the survey of motivational sources of mental health support with middle-aged people. The research was held in the region of Southern Moravia, in the district of Uherské Hradiště. The research was arranged in the way of public-opinion poll. The people have been chosen and adressed by chance. In the thesis four hypothesises have been diagnosed with the focus on middle-aged people´s knowledge of mental health problems and their support of mental health. Two of the hypothesis have been confirmed, two of the hypothesis have been disproved. The acquired data have been statisticly evaluated. The main aim of the thesis was to work out the concept of interventionist programme for the improvement of mental health of middle-aged people on the basis of yogistic methods. The programme consists of possibilities of mental health support, as well as information about the right way of breathing (Nadi Sodhana), possibilities of relaxation methods (Yoga Nidra) and also learning about Six-Treasures (Sat-Sampati). The programme was set up in the way to be easily applied into the every day use in future. According to paper results, despite the middle-aged people know the menthal health definition, they don´t do exercises supporting menthal health. The result of the paper is therefore a methodical material, which shall help not only to spread the mental health knowledge but also to offer to middle-aged people practical skills supporting menthal health. The programme in its full version is part of the Bachelor diploma paper.

Sword from a grave 723 in Mikulčice and its metallographical examination
Hošek, Jiří ; Košta, J.
The investigated sword was lifted from the grave No. 723 situated on the acropolis of the Early Medieval stronghold of Mikulčice near by Hodonín. The grave unit was discovered on a small graveyard by the stone foundations of civic palatial building. The sword, which belongs to the Petersen N type, can be dated into the course of last three quarters of the 9th century. The sword blade consists of piled steel core and steel (probably but-) welded-on cutting edges (also composed of two or three mutually welded rods). The blade has been most likely oil-quenched (bainitic structure with hardness of 373+/-40 HV0.3) in the lower part (near by tip), the upper part (near by hilt) remained unquenched and bears unreadable inscription formed of phosphoric iron (ca 1.3 % P). Nickel and arsenic (3.1 % Ni and 1.8 % As in maximum) were found in welds of the blade and copper (ca 4.4 %) in welds of the pommel base.
