Second Spanish Republic: the political system and development in the period 1931-1936
Mravcová, Martina ; Šušlíková, Lada (advisor) ; Krausz Hladká, Malvína (referee)
My bachelor thesis deals with the analyses of the Second Spanish Republic, with insistence on political system and development from the foundation of the Republic on 12 of June in 1931 to military coup and the beginning of civil war in 1936. One part is turning to the form of republican regime, its functioning and its constitutional and legislative embodiment in the Constitution of 1931. This analysis reflects all important factors of the political system - the institutional system, correlation power authorities, electoral system and party system. Unstable republican regime during its short period was characterized by frequent rotation of governments of different ideological aims, governmental inefficiency, and large number of parties, increasing polarization of the society, party competition and impossibility of consensus between governmental representatives of opposite ideological attitude. In the part dedicated to real political development governments of individual republican groupings are analysed: caretaker government, leftist republican-socialist two-year period, center-right two-year period and the beginning of People Front government. In conclusion the beginning of military rebellion and civil war is briefly outlined.
Assessment of respiratory muscle function and postural stability in lumbar spine using dynamic MRI
Balková, Veronika ; Truc, Michal (referee) ; Kolář, Pavel (advisor)
The aim oftbe work was to get concrete and objective view of the movement of defined parts in lumbar spine during postural task. The other goal was to measure respiratory muscle strenght a find if there was a connection between measured parameters. 35 subjects with chronic low back pain and 25 asymptomatic subjects underwent dynamic MRl examination and measurement of maximal mouth pressures. This study showed lower valu es of Pimax and displacement of vertebra Ll in group of patients. AIso showed correlation between Pimax and Ll dispalcement, sacrum displacement and the sacral slope difference during postural task in group of patients. No significant correlations in control group were found. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Precarious Society
Schlosserová, Jana ; Lukášová,, Helena (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
The installation is formed from the fifth sculptures, individuals, larger than life size. Their bodies are just shapes and surfaces, which leave place for the rest of the human form. The form is preserved only in black-and-white photography, in portraits, which are part of the sculptures. They ostensibly do nothing, like stopping in time. However they move, but for that move is neccessary initial impetus and it is the role of the viewer. Instability of sculptures is an expression of the unstable position of the human beings in today's society (the origin of instability). Sculptures creates society thanks for their quantity, community and contact.
Storms at the Airports and During Flight - Observation and Forecast
Novozámský, Adam ; Hudec, František (referee) ; Krška, Karel (advisor)
This thesis is focused on describing convectional storms and all the phenomena that goes along it. Marginally describes methods of storms prediction, ways of its observation and some simple principles, which every pilot should know and follow in cases, that he meet’s storm during flight. In the end, the success of storm prediction using CAPE index is assessed.
Vliv nestabilit na určení střední teploty ve volném proudu termického plazmatu
Hlína, Jan ; Šonský, Jiří ; Šlechta, Jiří
We have used results acquired by a multi-directional optical system for temperature measurements with a high temporal resolution to compare mean temperatures in the jet obtained by averaging the instantaneous temperature fields with the temperature values acquired in the usual way from averaged radiation intensities. The comparison shows differences in results yielded by both methods which are caused by the nonlinear dependence of radiation intensity on temperature.
Simulace kavitační nestability v induktoru se 3 lopatkami
Sedlář, M. ; Maršík, František ; Zima, Patrik
Axial-flow inducers are used to improve cavitation performance of radial-flow or mixed-flow pumps. There is a wide range of cavitation instabilities, which can be observed during inducer operation, even at the design flow rate. The type of cavitation instability is determined by the frequency analysis. Two cavitation models were used to determine the frequency range of four different types of cavitation instabilities – CEV and VOF built in the ANSYS CFX software – for a 3-blade inducer and suction impeller of a multistage pump. The calculated values of NPSH3 were compared with experimental data for SST, SST-SAS and RSM SSG turbulence models for fully unsteady solutions. It was found that the SST-SAS model provides the most realistic picture of the backflow vortices and their oscillations.
Experiment E3/2 - Vliv teploty na boční tlak sypkého tělesa
Valach, Jaroslav ; Koudelka, Petr
The first part of long-term experiment E3 with passive pressure has been started in the second half of 2001 and carried out during 2002. The partial experiment has been marked E3/2 according to the second type of the wall movement (rotation about the top). The paper presents the analysis of temperature changes of the stand structure at the results of the experiment E3/2.
Modelování nelineárních aeroelastických jevů na konstrukcích
Náprstek, Jiří ; Pospíšil, Stanislav ; Hračov, Stanislav
The paper deals with the aeroelastic instability and non-linear post-critical behaviour of a two degree-of-freedom system.
Natural vibrations and stability of cylindrical shells in interaction with flowing fluid
Horáček, Jaromír ; Zolotarev, Igor
Natural frequencies and thresholds of stability of thin cylindricaal shell conveying or surrounded by flowing fluid are theoretically studied. Viscous fluid forces are modelled by the Darcy law, and effects of fluid compressibility are discussed. Particularly the effects of fluid viscosity and the type of boundary conditions at the edges of the shell on the critical flow velocities are demonstrated.
