Privacy and internet services

This thesis is focused on internet services user privacy. Goal of this thesis is to determine level of user awareness of how is their privacy approached while using internet services. Then suggest procedure to improve this awareness, or that will lead to better control of individual privacy. In theoretical part I analyze general and legislative approach to privacy, followed by analysis of behaviour of internet service users and providers. Part of this analysis deals with usage of web cookies for user tracking purposes and its possible impact on user privacy. Practical part consists of survey which is used to determine true level of user awareness of how is their privacy approached while using internet services, and of suggestion of measures to improve protection of privacy.

The possibilities of determination the tax base of corporate income tax using IFRS

Diploma thesis builds on discussion about harmonization of corporate income tax. It deals with the possibility of determining the tax base of corporate tax in the Czech Republic from the profit recognized in according with IFRS. The thesis describes general differences affecting the amount of profit by using IFRS and by using Czech accounting rules. Then an analysis of several items is made, the differential impact on profit or loss when comparing the two systems is most pronounced. The purpose of this thesis is to suggest a specific adjustment of the Income Tax Law so that the tax burden when using the profit according to the IFRS is the same as in case of using the profit according to the national rules.

Motivation as a tool of performance management

The aim of the dissertation called Motivation as a tool of performance management is to analyze the present condition of the motivation system in the company Ahold and eventually base on recognized imperfections to suggest and help increase employee performance. The dissertation is divided in a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part leader and manager, motivation, sources of motivation, theories of motivation and achievement motivation are defined. Further attention is devoted to direction and evaluation of work performance. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which contains company characteristics, analysis of the current motivation system, where empirical research investigates motivation and her impact on satisfaction and performance employee. At the end of the dissertation there are stated and proposed recommended changes, which should contribute to better performance and motivation of the employee.

Methods of motivating employees

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse methods of motivating employees. The theoretical part is devoted to the concept of motivation, stimulation, existing theories of work motivation and motivation instruments. The practical part of the thesis investigates using interview techniques and written questioning the disparity in the way of motivation of employees in tents and in private enterprises. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the applied instruments, to assess their impact on motivation, satisfaction and performance of employees and suggest changes in the methods of motivation and stimulation.

Marketing Strategy of Companies on the Market of Mobile Operators in the Czech Republic

This Bachelor's thesis compares marketing strategies of three major mobile operators on the Czech market. The aim of this thesis is first to define particularities and critical success factors of a marketing strategy on the market of mobile operators in the Czech Republic. Secondly, to compare marketing strategies of Vodafone Czech Republic, a. s., T-Mobile Czech Republic, a. s. and Telefónica Czech Republic, a. s. based on the analysis of their current marketing strategies and the questionnaire survey. And thirdly, to design an optimal marketing strategy for the current market of mobile operators. The theoretical part covers the concept of marketing, marketing environment and its factors and forces. In addition, the marketing management, different types of marketing situation analysis and a strategic marketing are described. Furthermore, the services marketing is defined. The practical part compares three mobile operators with a special focus on their product, price and promotion strategy. A brand perception, an effect of advertising campaigns and customers' loyalty and satisfaction is contrasted. The outcome of the comparison is the ranking of marketing strategies. The optimal marketing strategy for the market of mobile operators in Czech Republic is proposed in the end.

Barriers to Foreign Direct Investment in Japan

This thesis deals with the issue of the low stock of foreign direct investment in Japan. The aim is to identify the principle causes of this phenomenon and to suggest possible solutions. The barriers to foreign direct investment follow the methodology of APEC and their identification in the context of the Japanese economy is based on surveys amongst the managers of transnational corporations conducted by the Japanese governmental organization JETRO. The next issue, which is discussed in the thesis are the foreign direct investments as a phenomenon in the world economy, especially their impact on the economy.

The issue of crime victim in criminology Resume The purpose of my thesis is to describe all aspects of the situation of the victims, to find some problems they have to solve and to suggest the possible solutions of these problems. I find this topic very interesting. In the past, people concerned only with perpetrators of crimes. The victims were ignored. The situation is better now, nevertheless the position of the victims is not as good as it should be. It is necessary to make some changes, mainly to prevent secondary victimization because it is a big problem the victims must deal with. It is also very important to make some changes in our legislation to improve the position of the victims. The thesis is composed of ten chapters which are divided into subchapters. The chapter one deals with victimology. The first part focuses on a history of victimology and the second part deals with its subject. The chapter two concentrates on the term Victim. It also focuses on some aspects that increase the probability of becoming a victim. Finally, the third part of this chapter deals with the typology of the victims. The chapter three describes the process of victimization. Especially it concentrates on primary and secondary victimization, on secondary victimization of the victims of a rape and finally it describes...

Interpersonal Influence in the Working Process

The aim of the bachelor thesis called Interpersonal Influence in the Working Process is the influence of motivation and stimulation in particular organization on the working performance of its employees. The theoretical part deals with a definition of the terms motivation and stimulation. Then the existing theories of work motivation, determination of motivational sources and stimulation instruments in the organization and setting up a motivational programme. The practical part of the bachelor thesis, based on questionnaires, interviews, concentrates on motivation of employees and on stimulation instruments used by its management in the particular organization. The analysis deals with the organization ČEVAK a.s. The main aim of this topic is to compare the employees in terms of their motivation profiles and the use of appropriate stimulation instruments. To assess their impact on motivation, satisfaction of employees and suggest changes in the ways of stimulation. And then determination of appropriate recommendations to the organization.

Safety risks of wireless networks

The aim of the work is to review security risks of potencial attacks upon wireless networks.To draw up detailed list and propose suffi cient methods for defend against them. Instruction, which would help to fast recognition type of an attack on given network together with instruction which would minimalize impact of these attacks on users, should be a part of the work.

Communication of the Mlada Boleslav City in Years 2009-10

The focus of this literary work is to analyze the communication activities of the corporate town of Mlada Boleslav in 2009 through 2010. The analysis will focus on the town and its affiliation with its surroundings, specifically the impact the town has on local tourism. The aim is to discover whether the town used a compact marketing strategy and its effectiveness. Furthermore, this work also attempts to clarify the issues involving the co-operation between the town and Skoda Auto a.s. The company has a strong impact on the life of local residence as well as on local tourism. As a result of my analysis, references to currently promotion materials, and the utilization of individual communication channels I will point out possible problematic areas. I will also provide possible improvements that can be made in order to establish a more effective future communication strategy of Mlada Boleslav as a positive tourism destination and a friendly neighborhood.
