Relation between avant-garde, mass art and kitsch

In my thesis, I will deal with the subject of the relation of high and mass art in the context of the issue of kitsch. The primary sources of my work will be Apocalypse Postponed by Umberto Eco, an essay Avant-Garde and Kitsch by Clement Greenberg and Estetika na přelomu milénia by Pavel Zahrádka. The main subject of the work will be examining the impact of avant-garde to kitsch and mass art and make a structural analysis of the kitsch on the background of the theory about social and cultural layers.

Economic performance and inter-company comparison in the field of beer production

This diploma thesis deals with a comprehensive analysis of the economic performance of the beer production in the Czech Republic in years 2007 - 2011. The theoretical-methodological part summarizes methods of economic analysis and the system of the sector analyzes. The practical analytical part of the thesis defines at first the studied industries, introduces the most important representatives in the industry and applies the methods and processes explained in the theoretical-methodological part. The results of the internal and the external analysis of the industry serve to identify its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, whose relationships and weights assesses SWOT analysis. Recommendations for increasing of the potential economic performance of the production of beer in the Czech Republic are formulated based on the results of analyzes in the ending.

Find the weakest position in the financing of the facility and try to assign a structural analysis problem of cost centers as a tool for managerial decision-making.

Cílem bakalářské práce je vybrané teoretické poznatky konkurenceschopnosti podniku a metody jejího dosahování aplikovat na existující podnik Alstom Power s.r.o. a tím zlepšit jeho postavení s ohledem na konkurenční prostředí v němž se nachází. Metody analýzy konkurenceschopnosti a s tím související analýzy konkurenčního prostředí zde použité jsou zejména strukturální analýza odvětví a výběr konkurenční strategie, definice konkurenčních výhod a volba vhodných strategických rozhodnutí. Práce obsahuje jasně formulovanou konkurenční strategii a její výhody i nevýhody. Rovněž práce obsahuje kroky jimiž je možno nevýhody zvolené konkurenční strategie eliminovat, či alespoň minimalizovat.

Domažlice Region - Business Environment Analysis

The Diploma thesis - Domažlice Region - Business Environment Analysis - is concerned on problems of decision making in localization. In today's global economics, choosing locality of a company has a big impact on the future evolvement of economic entities. That is why it is so important to consider the localization of economic activity. The thesis proceeds the quality comparison of corporate environment in sub-regions of Pilsen Region regarding the territorial aspects. The main focus was set on subjects in Manufacturing and Direct Services sectors. All the sub-regions (Domažlice Region, Klatovy Region, Tachov Region, Rokycany Region, Plzeň- Jih Region, Plzeň-Město Region and Plzeň-Sever Region) were evaluated using 18 different criteria. Those criteria can be divided into six categories: Business Factors, Labour Factors, Infrastructural Factors, Local Factors, Cost Factors, Environmental Factors. Complex rating of Domažlice Region in the interregional comparison and structural analysis of companies in the same region are the outputs of the practical part. This analysis is focused on companies classification according to precept of law, sector and size. The survey also contains certain information about the participating companies. This gives a general view of potential competitors in the Domažlice Region. The Thesis could provide the useful data-source and also the source of information for companies which want to have an overview about economic entities in Domažlice Region as well as for companies considering this region for placement of their business or just for those who are considering localization analysis in their business decisions.

The analysis of competotion film distribution

This text deals with the market for film distribution in the Czech republic and it focuses mainly on the competition in this area. Its theoretical background lies in a structural analysis of sector and Porter's Competitive Forces model. This theoretical approach is confronted with contemporary situation on the market in the practical part of the text. Also, there is formulated a competitive advantage in product and in producer as a purchase motivation. These aspects of competitive advantages are discussed and some recommendations for market subjects are proposed. Brief discussion of financial indicators of main firms is also included.

Analyse of fleet of Zdravotnická záchranná služba Jihočeského kraje

In my dissertation there are all basic data and abstracts, which involve the questions of fleet of Zdravotnická záchranná služba Jihočeského kraje. Mostly I was concentrated on the structure of fleet as well as costs. Currently I tried to describe the problems of logistics and fleet management. Through the analysis of fleet I solved the questions related to costs and incomes of this company. Further I prepared structural analyse, which concentrates on the number and types of cars, also the satisfaction, which is connected with their using. The detailed analysis enabled me to penetrate and explore the branch of costs and incomes. All data are described with graphs and tables.

Detection and Analysis of Structural Changes in Econometric Models

Práce se zabývá detekcí a analýzou změn při ekonometrickém modelování, zejména v modelech časových řad a v regresních modelech. Zabýváme se testy na detekci změny a odhady bodů změny a jejich statistickými vlastnostmi. Jsou odvozena vhodná testová kritéria a jejich kritické hodnoty. Předmětem další diskuse je srovnání síly testů v různých situacích pomocí simulací. Uvažované postupy jsou demonstrovány na příkladu analýzy časových řad a odhadu parametrů produkčních funkcí.

Analýza a hodnocení konkurenční situace na trhu internetových služeb

Diplomová práce na téma Analýza a hodnocení konkurenční situace na trhu internetových služeb se v teoreticko-metodologické části zabývá strukturální analýzou odvětví, strategiemi hledání konkurenční výhody a měřitelností konkurenční výhody. V praktické části se práce zabývá trhem ICT, především pak trhem vysokorychlostního internetu. V práci čtenář nalezne analýzu konkurenční situace na trhu z pohledu společnosti Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. V závěru jsou formulována doporučení pro zlepšení zákaznické zkušenosti a pro upevnění konkurenčního postavení na trhu společnosti Telefónice O2 Czech Republic.
