Conception of the Housing Policy in the CR

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis is Conception of the Housing Policy in the CR. It is divided into four main parts. The first part explains general characteristics of the housing policy, describes the role of the state and her goals. Then is presented the state housing concept from 2011. The second part introduces available support housing. The third part explains proceses housing construction in the CR and last part is focused on the housing policy of town Litomyšl.
Evaluation of Investments in Energy Saving Measures

Bachelor thesis deals with energy-saving measures implemented in buildings, financing of investments in these measures and methods of economic evaluation. The theoretical part describes how to determine the energy performance of buildings, types of energy-saving measures, funding opportunities and economic evaluation. The practical part describes the energy-saving measures, carried out on two prefabricated buildings and the method of financing and economic evaluation of these investments.
Municipal housing policy

The topic of the thesis is municipal housing policy. It is divided into three parts – two theoretical, one practical. The first theoretical part explains general characteristics of the housing policy, describes the role of the state and the goals in general. The second theoretical part presents the State Housing Concept from 2005, its goals, their fulfilment, current situation of the housing stock, as well as available sources of support. The practical part focuses on the housing policy of towns and cities, i.e. municipal housing policy. It shows various ways to manage municipal houses – via housekeeping companies and relevant municipal departments. An example of two existing towns shows the differences in the ways of management, budgets and division of powers.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare two, a "soft" (non-investment) and a "hard" (investment), projects which represent specific applicants' business objectives for funding grants from the EU. The thesis analyzes deriving from the structural funding of the EU in the programming period 2007 2013, it describes main pitfalls in deriving from these resources and evaluates them. The thesis also describes positive and negative aspects that come with this financial support. This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts a practical part and a theoretical part. The theoretical part describes the 2007 2013 funding programmes. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the operational programmes. It also evaluates positive and negative aspects that come with obtained funds, and the constraints associated with the project implementation.
Role of Public Finance during the Territory Regeneration

The title of the Diploma thesis is "The role of public finances in restoring municipal facilities and territory". The thesis assesses a participation of the public finances sector in a process of restoring the essential municipal facilities and territory damaged by disaster. It analyses the public investments released on prevention of natural disasters and intended to subsequent restoration as illustrated by example of flood. To assess an effectiveness of spending the public funds to disaster prevention, the example of flood has been chosen, because the Czech Republic is suffered especially from flooding. The outcome of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of public expenditures in comparison with the experience of neighboring European countries and to formulate recommendations for improving the system of financing the destructive after-effects of natural disasters.
Environmentally-Oriented Subsidy Programs in Czech Republic, with Example of Development and Support in Beekeeping

This thesis deals wiht the subsidies as a tool for solving positive externalities in the environmental field. The theoretical part explains the principle of externalities, and offers three variants of their solution - a system of taxes and subsidies, according to A.C. Pigou, the negotiation of compensation, according to R. Coase, and connected property. From these theoretical concepts are in reality to solve positive externalities mainly used subsidies. Selected subsidies programs for environmental protection are subject to the following analysis. Classic example of positive externality is considered pollination activity of bees. Therefore, the second half of thesis describes how this agricultural sector, beekeeping, depends on subsidies. This thesis proposes another solutions to develop and streamline the sector without the use of subsidies.
Grants for promoting alternative energy sources

This work deal with the characteristics of alternative energy sources, their usage, comparing with nonrenewable energy sources and of development alternative energy sources above all by grant programs. Important part of this work is also comparing efectivnes and costs. Practical part is followed by a list of requirements and operations necessary for a succesfull and proper utilization of grants. The goal of this work is to show influence of energy production on world economic-political situation especially comparing nonrenewable and alternative sources. Accomplishment of this work I consider finding answer on question: "Is it possible to incorporate alternative energy sources into the regular energy production without grant programs?"
Společná zemědělská politika s ohledem na zemědělské dotace v České republice

Vstupem České republiky do Evropské unie byla přijata Společná zemědělská politika EU (SZP). Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit a posoudit smysl zemědělských dotací pro malé soukromé zemědělce a jejich možnosti získání. V prvních kapitolách práce je SZP popsána obecně. Třetí a čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá Českou republikou a jejím vývojem v zemědělském sektoru. Pátá kapitola je věnována novému rozpočtovacímu období 2007 ? 2013 a především Programu rozvoje venkova. Poslední tři kapitoly jsou věnovány hypotetickému příkladu soukromého zemědělce, jeho možnostem při získávání dotací, kontrolám a kalkulací příjmů a nákladů při zemědělské činnosti.
