Relationship between Personal Characteristics and Look in Homosexual Males.

The diploma thesis focused on male sexual orientation from various points of view, and in particular, several aspects of masculinity-femininity and partner preferences. Theoretical part of the thesis aimed at masculine and feminine personality, facial and vocal traits, as well as attractiveness of these traits for other individuals. The second part of the thesis consists in an empirical experiment where lay judges rated attractiveness, masculinity-femininity, and sexual orientation of facial photos and vocal recordings of homosexual and heterosexual target men. Other method used in the study was a set of questionnaires and standardized psychological tests focusing on gender nonconformity and other traits that were presumed to relate to male sexual orientation.

Mutual perception of seniors and teenagers

The present bachelor thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. Its theoretical part engages in the characteristics of growing up and aging, and describes pubescence, senescence, old age, with all changes that these life phases bring with them. Furthermore, it examines the problems of ageism or discrimination because of age. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is based on research and findings that were acquired in such research. The objective of the whole thesis was to determine - by means of a semantic differential - teenagers? opinions of seniors and vice versa. Our intention was to ascertain from respondents, who completed record sheets, if they are prejudiced in any way against the other generation and if they are influenced by stereotypes. Identical record sheets were prepared for both target groups, whereas these record sheets introduced contradictory traits of character., such as slow-fast, beautiful-ugly, tidy-untidy, communicative- uncommunicative and similar. Results of this evaluation of individual character traits performed by respondents reveal apparent differences. However, the overall findings show that both groups perceive each other positively. This bachelor thesis may be used for future publication activities and as potential documentation tackling the issues of ageism.

The thesis presents an overview of selected regional development banks in the world. It focuses on the sectoral specifics and searches similarities and differences among selected regional development banks. The first chapter describes selected regional development banks and their organizational structure, functions and activities. The second section compares the sectoral focus of three regional development banks and their selected development projects. The third chapter mentions the cooperation among regional development banks, other international organizations, countries, and other contemporary topics.

Mandatory expenditures development and reform of public finance

The first part of this thesis is investigating the mandatory expenditures. Mandatory expenditures represent facultative expenditures of the state budget. During ten last years significant increase in mandatory expenditures has been seen not only in absolute numbers but also in relative numbers. The proportion of mandatory expenditures in state budget and GDP has increased. Room for other expenditures is diminishing which is threatening long-term stability of public finance. The Mandatory expenditures have become essential problem of public finance. I pay attention especially to social transfer payments. Next part of this thesis is aimed at social sphere of the public finance reform in which government took up activities last year. First of all the causes of reform are analyzed. Besides mandatory expenditures there is great importance of demographic processes and state deficit too. Thesis describes particular changes in social policy and their impact on state budget.

Comunication of Self-help Group Focused on People Suffering from Social Phobia

The aim of this thesis is to propose new ways of communication of the self-help group focused on people suffering from social phobia. The theoretical part deals with perspectives of self- help groups and participation model taking into account socio-demographic profile, barriers to participation and motivation to participate as factors influencing participation. In the empirical part the reasons for the selection of questionnaires and interviews as data collection methods are described. In the part "results and discussion" I present the results of the analysis of external communication, the characteristics of the target group, the motivation to participate in the self-help group, barriers to participation in the self-help group and I propose new ways of communication adapted to the target group.

V diplomovej práci je venovaná pozornosť možným zdrojom nerovností v postavení žien na trhu práce na Slovensku, kam patria prežívajúce stereotypné názory, spoločensky akceptované normy a zaužívané vzorce správania, na základe ktorých dochádza k tradičnému rozdeleniu na ?mužské? a ?ženské? role, a to nielen vo svete práce ale aj rodiny. Ďalej je v práci predstavený vývoj základných demografických a ekonomických charakteristík, ktorý poukazuje na obmedzené šance a príležitosti žien v platenom zamestnaní. Pohľad na deľbu rodinných a pracovných povinností v rodinách Prešovského kraja, sprostredkuje výskum, z ktorého vyplýva, že pri riešení tohto nielen ?ženského? problému má svoje nezastupiteľné miesto muž ? otec rodiny.

Analýza vztahů mezi makroekonomickými ukazateli a parametry charakterizujícími spotřebu obyvatelstva ČR

Cílem předložené diplomové práce byla analýza vztahu mezi vybranými složkami výdajů obyvatelstva a makroekonomickými ukazateli vývoje České republiky v letech 1999 až 2006. Z makroekonomických ukazatelů jsme svoji pozornost zaměřili na hrubý domácí produkt, inflaci, míru nezaměstnanosti, směnný kurs české koruny vůči americkému dolaru, státní dluh a vývoz. Některé z těchto charakteristik ekonomiky ČR jsme porovnali s odpovídajícími charakteristikami pěti členských zemí Evropské unie (Německa, Rakouska, Slovenska, Lucemburska, Velké Británie), Švýcarska a USA. Sledovanými mikroekonomickými ukazateli byly charakteristiky spotřeby obyvatelstva ? kromě celkové průměrné roční spotřeby na jednoho obyvatele jsme sledovali i některé její nejvýznamnější složky, tj. výdaje za potraviny a nealkoholické nápoje, na odívání a obuv, za bydlení, vodu, energii a paliva, náklady vynaložené na zdraví, dopravu, vzdělávání a na rekreaci a kulturu. Vzájemný vztah mezi uvedenými veličinami jsme hodnotili pomocí matematicko-statistických metod: v první etapě jsme pro sledovaný soubor dat určili regresní funkci, v druhé etapě jsme určili korelační koeficient jako druhou odmocninu z koeficientu determinace. Podle velikosti a znaménka korelačního koeficientu jsme pak posuzovali závislost mezi sledovanými veličinami. Výsledky dosažené v rámci této diplomové práce tvoří zdroj objektivních informací pro hlubší studium ekonomického vývoje naší země v letech 1999 až 2006.

Tato diplomová práce je regionální analýzou sociálních a demografických aspektů podmiňujících současný a budoucí rozvoj okresu Náchod. Zabývá se všeobecnou charakteristikou okresu, analýzou obyvatelstva, trhem práce, cestovním ruchem a programy rozvoje. Závěrečnou částí práce je SWOT analýza, která vyjmenovává silné a slabé stránky, hrozby a příležitosti regionu.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Podlesí

The thesis deals with the development of local government in the village of Podlesí. The village of Podlesí is situated in the Central Region, approximately two kilometers from the town of Pribram. On December 31, 2015, it had a population of 1 097 inhabitants. The main objektive of this study was to identify factors that influence the character of the local political process in the village of Podlesí. This is a case study that shows the development of the local political process here from 1990 to 2014. Working initially in the theory explains the concepts related to public administration, local authorities, the function of elections and electoral systems, municipal electoral systém and the local political process. The practical part describes the village of Podlesí. This description includes Podlesí´s history, its development of demographic characteristics and social amenities. After that an individual comparison of individual results of municipal elections from 1990 to 2014, personal interviews with local political figures and defined the character of local political processes in the village of Podlesí.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Žíšov

This master thesis deals with the development issues of local authorities in Žíšov (South Bohemian region). The thesis is divided into 2 part - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the characterization of municipal administrative bodies, municipal electoral process and local partisanship. This part also deals with the characterization of typology of local partisanship systems according to Petra Jüptner and Václav Bubeníček, citizen participation of political life and splitting within communities. The practical part of this thesis describes the basic demographic characterization of Žíšov and its history at first.
Another researched part describes the problems of socioeconomic indicators of the village (Žíšov). The key part is the analysis of election period during 1994 - 2014 with detailed look into each year. The conclusion of this thesis is the nature of local politics.
