Simulace lidského hlasu s využitím MKP modelu vokálního traktu
Horáček, Jaromír ; Griffond-Boitier, F.
Finite element models of male vocal tract for Czech vowel /a/ are analyzed and used for numerical simulation of phonation. The models were designed from the MRI the subject during phonation. The acoustic signals for the vowel /a/ are simulated using the transient analysis. For excitation of the supraglottal spaces the intraglottal pressure or airflow rate generated by the aeroelastic model of vocal folds self-oscillations is used. The frequency and time response functions calculated near the lips and in front of the mouth are compared with acoustic measurements.

Počítačová simulace lidského hlasu s využitím aeroelastického modelu hlasivek a MKP modelu vokálního traktu člověka
Horáček, Jaromír ; Šidlof, Petr ; Švec, J. G. ; Griffond-Boitier, F.
The developed finite element (FE) model of real male vocal tract that corresponds to the Czech vowel /a/ is used for numerical simulation of phonation. The FE model was designed from the magnetic resonance images (MRI) of the subject during phonation. The acoustic signals for the vowel /a/ are simulated using the transient analysis of the FE model in time domain. For excitation of the acoustic supraglottal spaces the intraglottal pressure generated by the aeroelastic model of vocal folds self-oscillations is used. The frequency and time response functions are calculated in front of the mouth.

Air-pressure characteristics and visualization of bubbling effect in water resistance therapy
Radolf, Vojtěch ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Laukkanen, A. M.
This study investigates the influence of a widely used method in voice training and therapy, phonation into a resonance tube with the outer end submerged in water (‘water resistance therapy’ with bubbling effect). Acoustic and electroglottographic (EGG) signals and air pressures in the mouth cavity were registered and the formation of bubbles was studied using high speed camera. Bubbling frequency dominates in the spectra of the pressure signal being about 15 dB higher than the amplitude of the first harmonic, which reflects the fundamental frequency of the vocal folds’ vibration. Separation of the bubbles 10 cm under water surface starts when the buoyancy force acting on the bubble is approximately equal to the aerodynamic force in the tube.

Operation Test of a New Experimental Technology for Research of Lateral Pressure
Koudelka, Petr ; Valach, Jaroslav ; Bryscejn, Jan
Hardware and software accessories of a original advanced experimental equipment was finished and debugged at the beginning of the last year. The equipment was constructed for a basic research of lateral pressure multi-phase granular materials and to verify a theoretically derived -General Lateral Pressure Theory- (GLPT). A number of technical tests of measuring components and computer controlling system were performed before the finish of the equipment development. Several quasi-experiments without a sample ended the equipment preparation at last. The first real experiment E5/0,2 with pressure at rest and passive pressure was used for an operation test of the new equipment. The paper deals the experimental technology (apparatuses, hardware, software, etc.) and experiences of them during an extremely slow movement of front wall. Also, it is mentioned a visual monitoring, 3D scan technology including.

Effect of prophylactic and functional knee brace and knee sleeve on plantar pressure distribution during stance phase of gait in healthy individuals
Pánková, Barbora ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Lopot, František (referee)
Title: Effect of prophylactic and functional knee brace and knee sleeve on plantar pressure distribution during stance phase of gait in healthy individuals Summary: Knee bracing is a very commonly used method by both doctors and patients. Brace producers and also most of the studies focus the effect of the brace directly on the knee joint, but do not study, how it influences other regions of human body. This work studied the influence of knee bracing on plantar pressure distribution changes and also changes of the progression of the centre of pressure (COP). This study rewiewed the literature for the theoretical background in biomechanics and kinesiology of gait, description of structural, functional and methodological factors influencing the dynamic interaction of the foot contacting the ground and a review of knee brace questions. The experimental part concerns a study of the gait of 6 healthy subjects using a Footscan platform and the effects of three types of knee braces on the dynamic interaction of the foot contacting the ground. Methods: We used the Footscan modular measuring system (RSscan International, Belgium) and the force platform Kistler to detect both relative and absolute values of forces and plantar pressures under particular regions of the foot using three types of knee braces....

Using high-pressure hydrolysis process with sulfuric acid to produce biogas from wheat straw
HŮRKOVÁ, Drahomíra
The presented dissertation assesses the technological and economical use of high-pressure hydrolysis of wheat straw with sulfuric acid (H2SO4) for biogas producing. The theoretical part is focusing to the structure of lignocellulosis phytomass, on technology of mechanical treatment and acid hydrolysis. The experimental part is based on the production of neutralized hydrolyzate obtained by using technology of high-pressure hydrolyse by pressure 1,5 MPa, in retention time of 500 seconds and 190 °C. Data, generated by operation server Linode Platform Manager, emerges, that the area with the best polynormal cubic function, which is aproximated by the smallest mistake. The local extremes, where are the verification of the cumulative CH4 by anaerobic fermentation (in thermophilic area by temperature 51 °C) in relation on dry matter, are calculated of tha data obtained of Maple 14. The highest yeld of CH4 production was found by pressure of high-pressure hydrolyser 2,37 MPa. The maximum value of production of biogas (CH4) was 190 m3. t-1 of dry phytomass. Based on the optimalization, was maximum yeld of CH4 (of biochemical aspects) found about dry matter 8,57 % and pH 4,84. From the managerial point of view, which takes into account technological limitations and financial indicator, are the optimal conditions by dry matter from 3,92 to 5,12 % and a pH of 3,2 to 5,1.

Implementation of 1D mathematical model of vocal cavities into TTS synthesizer – preliminary study
Radolf, Vojtěch ; Horák, Petr
Simplified 1D mathematical models of the human vocal tract were modified for using them in Text-To-Speech systems so that they help to simulate emotional speech. The geometry (area function) of the models for all Czech vowels was modified using the inverse task optimization procedure so that the computed formant frequencies match the measured formant frequencies of utterances of professional speaker. Output acoustic pressure signal generated from the models in wav format sounded satisfactorily for all the vowels and fundamental frequencies varied in an octave range from 77 Hz to 156 Hz. Neverthelles more testing procedures are needed to verify reliability and quickness of the model as well as intelligibility of generated utterances especially in formant TTS system and linear predictive TTS system.

Measurement of the link between pressure pulsations and blade vibrations at NT3 TG2 ETE : contract number-771215
Procházka, Pavel ; Vaněk, František ; Sadílek, J. ; Hodboď, Robert
The report presents results of measurements of pressure pulsations and vibrations of the stationary and rotating blade wheels of the third low-pressure stage of the turbine set NT3 TG2 in the nuclear power plant Temelín during the turbine start-up from 27th June to 3rd July 2012. Phenomena and relationships identified are discussed on the basis of time and frequency data analysis of the installed pressure sensors and accelerators. The blade vibrations in the monitored period are compared with the phenomena recorded during the measurement as well as previous long-term measurements in the years 2009 to 2011.
