Financial analysis of a selected company

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of a selected company. The first theoretical part characterizes basic terms, goals, users and sources of input data. It also defines the used models and indicators and explains the process of their calculation. The main practical part describes the selected company and performs the horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, the analysis using the ratio indicators and the cost-benefit analysis. The company is compared with two other companies from the same field using a selected financial standing and bankruptcy model. The final part evaluates the overall financial position of the company and proposes proper solutions.

Accounting issues in company transformations

This thesis focuses on accounting problems that arise in the context of transformation the company. These include the problem of revaluation of assets and liabilities, the difference arising from revaluation and the recognition and reporting of difference from takeovers. To understand the context in thesis is described the Law on transformation of companies and cooperatives, and selected provisions of the Accounting Law.

Financial analysis of company concerned with sewage treatment

The goal of my thesis was to make a financial analysis and an outline of the financial plan. In the first, theoretical, part I described the purpose of financial analysis and its methods and procedures used in the practical part. The second part is called the application. There I made a financial analysis of Ekosystem spol. s r.o. First I introduced the enterprise and its activities. This was followed by horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, analysis of financial indicators and assessment of financial soundness. I also compared the company with two other companies in the same business branch and I outlined the short-term financial plan. In the final section, I summarized the knowledge larned in the application part and I reviewed the business as a whole.

The aim of this work is the objective findings of financial analysis company Valeo Compressor Europe Ltd. for the three preceding years. Make vertical and horizontal analysis of the balance sheet and income statement in order to assess the activities listed companies in terms of efficiency, comparison of calculated data and identify the reasons for different results. Based on the assessment of the financial results to take measures to improve the position of the company in the future.

Finanční analýza společnosti Mora Aerospace, a.s.

Práce hodnotí finanční situaci výrobního podniku Mora Aerospace, a.s. pomocí základních metod finanční analýzy za čtyři účetní období roku 2002-2005. Dále se zaměřuje na odůvodnění výsledné hodnoty výsledku hospodaření, analýzu výkazu zisku a ztráty a analýzu majetku a jeho zdrojů financování. Dělí se na dvě části. teoretická část se zaměřuje na metody finanční analýzy a praktická část tyto metody aplikuje. Celkově práce hodnotí finanční zdraví podniku.

Práce se zabývá finanční analýzou stavební společnosti Metrostav, a.s. Zjišťuje, zda vývoj finančních ukazatelů v letech 2002 až 2005 odpovídá přání společnosti do budoucna efektivně využívat svých zdrojů a zařadit se tak mezi nadprůměrně prosperující středoevropské firmy s trvalým růstem produkce, trřní hodnoty a s úrovní řízení odpovídající standardům EU.

Intangible assets in globaly accepted accounting systems

The main topic of my thesis is the analysis of intangible fixed assets according to international accepted standards of financial reporting. I focused on the reporting according to IAS 38 and IFRS 3 and methods of assessing value of intangible fixed assets. In the last part of the thesis are compared financial statements of several international companies with accent on intangible fixed assets and realized business combinations.

Accounting and tax view of fixed assets in the Czech Republic

This work deals with accounting entries of intangible and tangible fixed assets in accordance with Czech Accounting Standards and Law of income tax. A part of this work there is concretely determination of fixed assets, its acquisition, underdepreciation, retirement, and also concept definition of technical improvement of fixed assets. In conclusion there is an example which shows how to account fixed assets in manufacturing company and how fixed assets affect tax base of company.

Finanční analýza Pivovaru Svijany a.s.

Diplomová práce se zabývá finanční analýzou vybrané společnosti. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou popsány metody a postupy finanční analýzy. V praktické části je provedena finanční analýza vybrané společnosti a zhodnocení zjištěných výsledků. Součástí je i mezipodnikové hodnocení. V závěrečné části je provedeno celkové zhodnocení výsledků finanční analýzy a vlastní návrhy na zlepšení hospodářské situace společnosti.
