Analysis of MR data
Guzmická, Lea ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Fabíková, Veronika (advisor)
The object of the work is diffusion MRI. The work deals with it from acquisition methods to postprocessing methods. The thesis is divided into 7 chapters. These gradually focus on the basic principles of MRI, measuring parameters, the phenomenon of diffusion and various methods of dMRI. The second part is comparing dMRI softwares and direct on actual postprocessing and analysis of data of study comparison of heathy controls and patients suffering eating disorders.
Correction of artifacts in diffusion-weighted MR images
Petrek, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
The semester project is described by nuclear magnetic resonance, is discussed further in diffusion MRI and its method of measurement. The next section discusses the creation and correction of artifacts in MRI, and in the last part of the experiment made ??various filtering image distortion artifacts.
Continuous conductivity measurement of produced copper wire
Kozáček, Peter ; Hadinec, Michal (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
My project is about possibilities of conductivity measurement of copper wire. I focus on basic principles of conductivity measurement and their applicability for continues measurement. Also I focus on proposing methods which would be the most appropriate for continuing measurement of conductivity. Each individual method is based on basic physic principles. I compare these measurement methods from different important industrial point of views in this project.
Electromagnetic actuator of simple objects
Kolek, Andrej ; Dufek, Ivo (referee) ; Hadinec, Michal (advisor)
The main objective of this work is to study the principles of the movement of very small bodies using electromagnetic forces. The first part is acquainted with the theory of electromagnetism and the second part will focus on the already functioning device, called coil gun. In the end, I will make several practical measurments, results will be compared against theoretical assumption and take measure it.
Expressing uncertainty of efficiency value
Kňava, Miroslav ; Pernikář, Jiří (referee) ; Koška, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is to analyze the methodology for executing examination heat transfer tubes of steam generator by method of eddy currents on EDU, to create the model for the estimate of standard combined uncertainty of efficiency value, quantify the individual components of standard uncertainties, analyse the influence of different components on the expressing of uncertainty, to make the final estimate of standard combined and enlarged uncertainty of efficiency value and as of minor objective to evaluate the suitability of the use of this method .
Optimalization of Induction Furnace Operation in foundry Vsetín
Trachta, Jiří ; Nowak, Stanislav (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
The aim of this work is optimalisation of induction furnace in foundry for company PROMET FOUNDRY a.s. The company has two induction furnances. There are installed as identical construction. They have 2 modes of operation. First mode is founding and second mode is mode, where is temperature in maintain mode. Only one induction furnance can work in the founding mode at a time though. Inducion furnances are in the single-phase connection and they cause unbalance in the distribution network. Near the foundry there is a small network area whitch it is operated by company Zásobování teplem Vsetín a.s. The consumption of electrical energy in foundry so big, that in the year 2009 was made elaborate for Zásobování teplem Vsetín a.s. It was write at Laboratoře diagnostiky výkonů (Laboratory of performance diagnostics), which is a part of Electrotechnic Department at Technical Univarsity of Ostrava. The ordered study was named “Verification of causes of increased reactive energy consumption during transition from electricity delivery to electricity consumption”. The conclusion of this assignment confirms that in distribution network in the Jiráskova area in Vsetín there is unbalance of electrical energy and there is high part of reactive power. The next conclusion is crucial to find the customer who made the unbalance and to set relevant remedy. The last step will be the identification whether such device can actually be effectively balanced. It was subsequently proved that the Promet Foundry was causing the unbalance and that balanced consumption would be reasonable. Promet Foundry thus addressed Autel a.s. company with an inquiry to make a study of removing the causes of the unbalance which is caused by current induction furnaces operation at a minimum possible cost, least possible influence on the performance and minimum construction changes concerning the building. In this thesis there will be some topics. The result of which will be introducing of used heating technology, introducing of company and of effective plant performance and subsequent suggestions of possible unbalance removal or reactive power decrease. Several ways which are being implemented in the industry in order to balance consumption will be described. A suitable balancing plant will be subsequently chosen and its parameters will be calculated.
Non-destructive inspection methods of aircraft selected parts
Kníř, Jakub ; Třetina, Karel (referee) ; Trefilová, Helena (advisor)
Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a broad scientific field. This bachelor thesis provides an insight into NDT’s methods. It can’t embrace the whole field in any case because it’s needed to have knowledge from variety of other scientific fields in order to understand NDT completely. This thesis outlines basic testing methods and their usage for particular components of aircrafts. The thesis also includes a list of Czech and European standards relevant to the topic.
Integrální přístup k řešení neferomagnetického elektrodynamického akcelerátoru
Karban, P. ; Doležel, Ivo
The paper deals with the description of dynamic behavior of a nonferromagnetic electrodynamic launcher. Although the problem itself is not new, an innovative item is determination of eddy currents in the launched body based on the integral approach that provides more accurate results than former algorithms of computation based on the FEM or electric circuit techniques. The methodology is illustrated on an example whose results are discussed
Časový průběh procesů v aktuátorech pracujících na principu termoelasticity
Beneš, K. ; Dvořák, P. ; Ulrych, B. ; Doležel, Ivo
Linear electromagnetic actuators may transform electromagnetic energy into kinetic energy of straightforward moving part (plunger) in several ways. One of them is conversion of heat produced by eddy currents in a metal membrane to its deformation, which brings about pressure on the plunger. The paper presents a fundamental study of device working on principle and deals with its construction, operation parameters and optimisation.
Řešení nestacionárních problémů vířivých proudů integrálním přístupem
Doležel, Ivo ; Karban, P.
Althout most eddy problems are theoretically solved by various differential techniques, there exist several classes of tasks where use of the differential approach may be complicated or even prohibitive. Mentioned can be, for example, problems characterized by geometrical incommensurability of individual subdomains, by their motion or by ignorance of the boundary conditions. In such a case, application of the integral approach may be an advantage. The paper presents the theoretical background of the method.
