Infrastructure for Deployment of Heterogeneous Component-based Applications
Šafrata, Pavel ; Hnětynka, Petr (referee) ; Bulej, Lubomír (advisor)
Deployment is a process which involves all actions performed with an application after it is released. Traditionally, deployment has been addressed for each component model separately (if at all), even though most of the concepts are the same. The Deployment and Configuration of Component-based Applications Specification released by OMG proposes a unified approach that can be tailored to different component models. This thesis focuses on the execution phases of the deployment process. It presents a generic deployment runtime based on the OMG specification. The main objective is to elaborate support for multiple component models and subsequently support for heterogeneous applications consisting of components implemented in different component models. This has been achieved through a system of extensions which allows isolating component model specifics from the runtime. Even though the OMG specification was not originally intended to support heterogeneous applications, the implementation deviates from it only in a few points. In all such cases, the thesis presents an analysis of the situation and rationale for the deviation.

The real estate appraisal as a collateral
Hakl, František Marian ; Dušek, David (advisor) ; Šrytr, Pavel (referee)
The real estate appraisal within the banking industry is a specific discipline. Hence, there is a lack of theoretical background, especially in the Czech language. The aim of this work has two main parts. Firstly, there are analysed potential valuation bases and concrete approaches which are offered. Secondly, it is focused on practical determination the market value and the collateral value of the real property, regarding the current approaches using in the Czech banking industry.

Gas Microsensors Based on Self-Organized 3D Metal-Oxide Nanofilms
Pytlíček, Zdeněk ; Husák, Miroslav (referee) ; Kolařík, Vladimír (referee) ; Prášek, Jan (advisor)
This dissertation concerns the development, fabrication and integration in a gas sensing microdevice of a novel 3-dimensional (3D) nanostructured metal-oxide semiconducting film that effectively merges the benefits of inorganic nanomaterials with the simplicity offered by non-lithographic electrochemistry-based preparation techniques. The film is synthesized via the porous-anodic-alumina-assisted anodizing of an Al/Nb metal bilayer sputter-deposited on a SiO2/Si substrate and is basically composed of a 200 nm thick NbO2 layer holding an array of upright-standing spatially separated Nb2O5 nanocolumns, being 50 nm wide, up to 900 nm long and of 8109 cm2 population density. The nanocolumns work as semiconducting nano-channels, whose resistivity is greatly impacted by the surface and interface reactions. Either Pt or Au patterned electrodes are prepared on the top of the nanocolumn array using an innovative sensor design realized by means of microfabrication technology or via a direct original point electrodeposition technique, followed by selective dissolution of the alumina overlayer. For gas-sensing tests the film is mounted on a standard TO-8 package using the wire-bonding technique. Electrical characterization of the 3D niobium-oxide nanofilm reveals asymmetric electron transport properties due to a Schottky barrier that forms at the Au/Nb2O5 or Pt/Nb2O5 interface. Effects of the active film morphology, structure and composition on the electrical and gas-sensing performance focusing on sensitivity, selectivity, detection limits and response/recovery rates are explored in experimental detection of hydrogen gas and ammonia. The fast and intensive response to H2 confirms the potential of the 3D niobium-oxide nanofilm as highly appropriate active layer for sensing application. A computer-aided microfluidics simulation of gas diffusion in the 3D nanofilm predicts a possibility to substantially improve the gas-sensing performance through the formation of a perforated top electrode, optimizing the film morphology, altering the crystal structure and by introducing certain innovations in the electrode design. Preliminary experiments show that a 3D nanofilm synthesized from an alternative Al/W metal bilayer is another promising candidate for advanced sensor applications. The techniques and materials employed in this work are advantageous for developing technically simple, cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions for practical micro- and nanodevices, where the well-defined nano-channels for charge carriers and surface reactions may bring unprecedented benefits.

Methods of mapping and monitoring invasive (selected alien) species - monitoring
Pergl, Jan ; Dušek, J. ; Hošek, M. ; Knapp, M. ; Simon, O. ; Berchová, K. ; Bogdan, V. ; Černá, M. ; Poláková, S. ; Musil, J. ; Sádlo, Jiří ; Svobodová, J.
The project aims at problematic invasive species and their prioritization. In the methods we define several groups of aliens for monitoring. In the project are shown the rough financial costs.

The decomposition of biodegradable packaging
Balada, Ivo ; Altmann, Vlastimil (advisor)
This Thesis is focusing on recycling waste paper, which became one of the main collecting commodities for its widespread use in many economic regions. The thesis presents information about product options, new materials from processed waste and waste paper. First mentioned option for using waste paper is the application in substrate production technology as an input material with excellent physical properties, which could become an indispensable component in the production of highquality substrates. The resulting values indicate a higher absorption capacity of fluids that are substrates of biodegradable materials. The next part of the thesis contains the practical information and value gained from the process of production of briquettes from waste paper, In both technologies there are present variations of the different samples and their ratios used to manufacture the final products and are shown in the resulting comparison.

The aim of this master thesis is to create a web-based graphical user interface which communicates with a Software Defined Controller and the OpenFlow protocol to provide a basic network management and a topology graph, then to describe main aspects of the OpenFlow technology and to optimalize the chosen SDN Controller for full support in a multi-vendor enviroment.

Valuation of the company KRPA PAPER, a.s.
Červinka, Jan ; Brabenec, Tomáš (advisor) ; Lepič, Lukáš (referee)
The subject of the thesis is the market value of the company KRPA PAPER, a.s. as of December 31st, 2014. The aim of the thesis is an aplication of teoretical knowledge in a particular example. The purpose is to determine the net market value of the company. The thesis is divided into chapters which represent the typical phases of the valuation of a company. At the beginning of each chapter there is a brief description of its purpose in a business valuation. In the introduction part the basic aspects of the valuation are described. The financial and strategic analysis, the value drivers, the financial plan and the valuation chapters follow. For the valuation itself the DCF Entity method is used. The discount on the entity level is applied.
