The natural monument Myslivna in the Novohradské Mountains, charakteristic, proposal of protection and plan of care
ŘEZNÍČKOVÁ, Simona
Annotation ŘEZNÍČKOVÁ, S., 2012. The natural monument Myslivna in the Novohradské Mountains, charakteristic, proposal of protection and plan of care. Bachelor Thesis. University of South Bohemia, Pedagogical faculty, Department of Geography. The Novohradské Mountains are with its untouched nature unique phenomenom. They are located in southeastern part of Šumavská upland. We can find there the oldest protected areas in the Europe: NPR Žofínský prales and NPP Hojná Voda. These areas belong to small-scale Particularly Protected Areas. This thesis processes Plan of Care -Proposal for Proclamation which deals with location calling Myslivna. Myslivna is charakterized by elements of inanimate nature, especially by periglacial mesoforms which occupy NNW-SSE and NW-SE slope of Myslivna and part of its surroundings. Te aim of this thesis is to describe the physical-geographical conditions of the intersting territory and to create plan of care - proposal for proclamation. This plan should be the material for announcement of natural monument Myslivna. This work is focused on protection of nature which is in this southeastern corner of the Novohradské Mountains undisturbed thanks to border zone that walked this way.

The region, regional policy of the European Union and enlargement 2004
Býma, Petr ; Romancov, Michael (advisor) ; Hnízdo, Bořivoj (referee)
The thesis deals with a region as a basic building unit of the regional policy of the European Union, describing the formation and development of the European regional policy as supranational one and therefore unique on a global scale. With the increasing regional policy budget (this policy being the second most expensive in the Union), the influence of regions proper is growing as well: they are becoming more independent and emancipated. In the running process of globalisation, regions with the highest added value seem to be the best off: innovative regions with qualified labour and a strong connection with the supranational business and information networks. Metropolises, or urban centres, are faring the best in the global competition. The role of these central areas is growing stronger. The task of the regional policy is to balance the differences between these richer, central areas, and peripheral, poorer regions. The enlargement of the European Union by adding ten new member states in 2004 has been accompanied by regional policy reforms as there has been a sharp increase in the number of less developed regions, i.e. those that are entitled to draw upon funds of the European regional policy. Opinions on efficiency of the said policy differ: its proponents see it as the main tool of regional convergence...

Foundations of Fractional Calculus on Time Scales

Title: Flow and diffusion characteristics inside the urban area Author: Hana Chaloupecká Department: Department of meteorology and enviroment protection Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Zbyněk Jaňour, DrSc., IT AS CR, v. v. i. Supervisor's e - mail: janour@it.cas.cz Abstract: Uniqueness of different towns, consists of various shapes of buildings. The main topic of this work is to compare concentration diffusion within groups of buildings of various types. We pursued houses made of single blocks of two different lengths - they were placed parallel or in courtyards. For research of pollution diffusion within the housing estates a method of physical modelling has been used. For this purpose we summarized a theory of atmospheric boundary layer and physical modelling at first. Then we pursued experiments. Measuring took place in a model in scale 1 : 300 inside an aerodynamic wind tunnel of the Institute of Thermomechanics AS in Nový Knín. We checked out the requirements placed on similarity of the real boundary layer and boundary layer modelled in the tunnel. By the measuring of concentration in urban areas we weren't watching a plume from the pollution source but we were studying an inversion task. We measured concentrations in two fixed points from different point sources inside the defined areas. A sensitivity of...

Density dependent growth of brown trout Salmo trutta in oligotrophic streams
Závorka, Libor ; Slavík, Ondřej (advisor) ; Frouzová, Jaroslava (referee)
This thesis deals with the influence of population density on the growth of brown trout Salmo trutta. The research was carried out in the Šumava National Park in the river basins of two oligotrophic streams, the Vydra and the Křemelná. Data has been collected between years 2005 and 2010, every spring and autumn. Fish were caught via electrofishing and the length and weight of each individual were measured. Every individual caught was marked in a unique way. A few samples of scales were taken from some of them. The scales were fixed into laboratory slides, scanned and measured by graphic software. According to the differences between annual lamellas density, the age and the annual growth of individual's body length were estimated. Thanks to these results a negative relationship between the individuals' of age 1+ growth rate and the population density was confirmed. The importance of this thesis is mainly in comparing the influence of different spatial and time definitions of population on this relationship. The influence of the population density in spring (the initial time of the growth period) was proved to be essential for the growth rate. This fact suggests the importance of compensation growth intensity after the long period of winter for individual's general growth under conditions provided by...

Comparison of bilateral agreements on social security
Bohuslavová, Eliška ; Tepperová, Jana (advisor) ; Bušovská, Monika (referee)
Coordination of social security by bilateral agreements on social security is a specific area of international law that is essential to pay attention to. Czech Republic has up to now signed 16 bilateral agreements that are valid in their entirety. This thesis focuses on these 16 bilateral agreements and compares them with Regulation (EC) 883/2004 which became valid as the Czech Republic became member of European Union and which replaced bilateral agreements that were concluded with member states of European Union. The aim of this thesis is to perform a detailed analysis and to answer on following questions that are directly related to this issue. Firstly the thesis focuses on personal scale and answers a question of who is covered by bilateral agreements. Secondly the thesis focuses on material scale and answers a question of what subsystems are covered by agreements and compares them with the principles applied by Regulation (EC) 883/2004. Finally the thesis deals with a question of a future possible approach to coordination of social security in a global scale. It can be concluded that bilateral agreements concluded by the Czech Republic are each unique legal instruments. Therefore it is essential to study each agreement separately and not to make conclusions based on general knowledge of the issue.

Personnel-psychological diagnostics of golden profiler of personality
Sněhotová, Jiřina ; Šípek, Jiří (referee) ; Wagnerová, Irena (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis offers possibilities and limits of using the Golden Profiler of Personality (GPOP) in the context of personnel psychology. Attention is devoted to general methodological principles of psychological assessments, their contribution to personnel practice focusing on recruitment process and the discussion about increasing efficiency of selection process less mentally demanding and responsible positions. The theoretical part is mainly dedicated to the method GPOP, which in its core is based on the Jung's theory of psychological types, which has stimulated development of the questionnaire MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), and the Five-factor personality theory. Combining two completely different approaches it comes into being an assessment able to interpret on the one side, the uniqueness of personality, and on the second side its resemblance to a certain type. In the practical part, the psychometric characteristics of the questionnaire completed by 524 selected respondents are analyzed and evaluated. Reliability of the global scales is estimated of Cronbach`s alpha interval 0.8 to 0.9. Correlation analysis and exploratory factor analysis clearly support the expected construct of GPOP. The norms are compiled for a specific population, and the presented notifications attend on...

The aspects of labour class housing on the example of Ostrava and Zlin
Svozilová, Barbora ; Matějů, Martin (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to describe the housing situation of working c1ass during the transition from the society based on traditional values to the modem society of the twentieth century. Through the comparison of the housing facilities built to accomodate working c1ass people from Ostrava and Zlín, we can discover some important similarities and differences connected with approaches of the municipalities of these two settlements. Both of them chose the option to house working c1ass people on a mas s scale, but the results of their decisions ended up in two different urban formations. The examples of Ostrava and Zlín are analyzed from the interdisciplinary point of view (history, architecture, sociology and cultural studies) which provides an useful analytical tool to describe some interesting parallels and differences which emerged during their rapid development. The circumstances of their industrial boom substantially intluenced the structure and proportions of these places. The prevailing industrial character of the production was the most itluential factor which formed two unique uban areas. The text points out the key characteristic and urban features of Ostrava and Zlín and their working c1ass settlements. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
