The bachelor work to a topic: Rural tourism -- potentials and barriers: case study Tišnov area, describes the touristic industry of the Tišnov area. It evaluates the current level of the touristic offer and looks into the conditions of development of the rural touristics. The possibilities of accommodation in the farms, as well as in the family guest houses and cottages are analysed. Both positive and negative factors in the area of tourism in the Tišnov area are targeted. Owing to the unspoiled nature and immense number of natural, cultural and historical monuments the area arouses interest of many tourists. A big potential is defined by the distance to the Brno city (35 km), from where the most tourist come to the discussed area. Huge part of the touristic industry is supported by the transport services, mainly due to the implementation of the Integrated transport system of the South Moravian Region. In order to maintain and increase the ratio of touristic visits it is necessary to repair some of the roadways, which ones are in a critical state, and to improve the infrastructure of the touristic industry (repair the existing and build new bicycle paths). It is important to improve the promotion of the touristic activities as well.

The diploma thesis deals with sociology of province through village Vedrovice placed in South Moravia. The area of sociology of province is quite extensive so the thesis is focused on issues of selected areas of villagers's life. Available sources of technical literature and literary overview of current knowledge in rural areas were valorized in the first part. The next part deals with the village itself. This part is processed through the study of documents and own empirical research. The issues between old-time villagers and new immigrant residents were examined by interviews and questionnaires. The results and the evaluation of hypothese are processed by graphs and charts. The last part includes suggestions and recommendations.

The Bachelor thesis Potentials and barriers of rural tourism development in Jihlava river basin from Dalešice to Ivančice deals with possibilities of rural tourism in this locality. The thesis contains the general characteristics of problems with rural tourism and sustainable rural development. There is described positive and negative impact of rural tourism on rural development and characterized by location Jihlava river basin with its current potential and conditions for future development of rural tourism in this area. In the practical part is created in a form of questionnaire which describes the main strengths and weaknesses of rural tourism in the Jihlava river basin. On the basis are defined potentials and possible barriers to the development of rural tourism.

Návrh využití bývalého vojenského areálu v chráněné krajinné oblasti Poodří

This thesis deals with brownfields and is focused on the issue of brownfields of military origin in detail. The aim of this thesis is to propose an new utilisation of a specific military brownfield located in the protected landscape area Poodří. The former military area has been used as storehouse of fuel for the airport Mošnov. This area came under the administration of the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic in the year 2012. Nowadays the area has no use and deteriorates. An new utilisation is based on a detailed research of this area and on broader conditions. The proposal for an the utilisation respects requirements of the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic, is feasible and sustainable.

Možnosti podnikání ve venkovském cestovním ruchu v mikroregionu Rokytnice

Mrvová K.: Business opportunities in rural tourism of the microregion Rokytnice. Bachelor thesis. Brno. Mendel Univerzity in Brno, 2015. This bachelor thesis explains the concept of rural tourism, describes the rural environment of the South Moravian Region and especially deals with business opportunities in rural tourism of the microregion Rokytnice. For the theoretic part I used professional literature dealing with this topic. For the practical part I compared the potentials and barriers to the development of rural tourism with the help of professional literature comparing the various municipalities of the territory. Based on the collected data I tried to find answers to issues related to the business of rural tourism in the microregion and to find possible ways of its solution.

Možnost ekonomického rozvoje velmi malých obcí a úloha primárního sektoru na příkladu obce Katov

Bachelor thesis is focused on the possibilities for economic development of very small villages and the role of the primary sector in the example of the village Katov. First, it evaluates the extensive literature regarding country residences, the issue of small villages and their development prospects. Thesis deals furthermore with the position of small villages in the South Moravian region based on the results of the census and the labor market situation. There are also evaluated the available information about the current state of the village Katov within Tischnov region in terms of geographic location, demographic trends and structure of economic activity, technical and transport infrastructure and social issues. The main task was to conduct its own field survey in the village using sociological methods, eg. interviews with important subjects on the economy of the village, especially budget issues. The findings are presented in tables and graphs. The proposed development possibilities of the village are described in the conclusion.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the memory of a landscape, especially a rural landscape which was methodically processed as a review. The thesis dealt mainly with overall characteristics of the selected area in terms of the physical-geographical, ecological, regional, historical and cultural conditions. Afterwards the aim was to compare these characteristics and their changes in time. It was done by the comparative method. The results show that the selected area changed since 1953. Main changes were noticed in landscaping. The residential area was extended too. Matrix in the area is still an agricultural land, but due to the land unification in the 60s and 70s it costs the loss of its mosaic. This negatively affected mainly landscape character and a secondary structure of the landscape.

The aim of the thesis is to indentify factors and limits of rural region development. Author chose for her analysis the region of 33 municipalities, which territory as well belongs to territory of Local Action Group Hříběcí hory, z. s. The theoretical part of the thesis gives description of the terms related to regional development including key participants involved in it. Thesis deals with both positive factors related to the territory and limits which have negative effect on regional development. The conclusion of the practical part includes SWOT analysis which characterizes the territory. The thesis also describes potential possibilities of the development and suggests areas which should be focused on.

Veřejný a soukromý prostor ve venkovském prostředí na příkladu modelové obce

The diploma thesis deals with contemporary czech rural countryside in European context. It is divided into theoretical and several proposal parts. In theoretical part the issue is described more generally, but taking into consideration the character of the territory chosen for proposal part. This theoretical part is further divided into sub-chapters, in which the number of reference cases from Czech Republic and abroad is included. This part of the thesis shows that the solution of contemporary rural areas difficulties is based on qualities and identity of particular rural space and it is not desirable to approach this space as a homogenous environment. The proposal part of the thesis is divided into two sections. The first section introduces space-analysis. It includes the starting points, that summarise the problems found in the territory in three thematic areas. These are discussed in the second section of the proposal part. The first theme deals with space regulation on housing development. Here, the author presents a draft of housing regulation in the scattered housing village and acording to own methodology aims to stop the undesirable housing development into the landscape. At the same time, the chosen method of regulation preserves the mosaic character of submontane scatterd housing village. The second theme is dedicated to create space for alternative types of transport, particularly cycling, in the way to help relieve the consequence of automobilism in rural space. Also, there is the proposal of the pedestrial circular route as a possibility of leisure activity in various environment and as a connection of public space points with civic amenities. The third theme deals with those particular public points. Chosen public space areas are significant mainly as a meeting points and amenity centers. In the end, the proposal of these public space areas is offered. This work was prosessed from entirety to detail, while the most pressing issues were selected. Than it has been proposed the solutions of the issues by using architectural and landscaping methods.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of support of rural tourism by projects realized thanks to Rural Development Programme 2007 - 2013 concretely axis III. 1.3 Encouragement of tourism activities. Based on several criterions as an object of project, a recipient of grant and a localization of projects in rural area was created analysis of projects realized or currently realizing in Olomouc region. Furthermore analyze projects to identify projects complying idea of rural tourism. Regardless to results of analysis was created prediction of the support of rural tourism by RDP in next term.
