63 Export Promotion and Legislation Master Thesis Jana Ševčíková This Thesis' topic is introduced in part One. In Czechoslovakia international trade carried out mainly through product specialised trading houses until the early 1990s. This lead to a situation where Czech companies in general knew how to produce marketable goods but had no experience with international trade. In many cases, managers were not familiar with the differences in business practices, and in wider commercial and social culture, of potential partners. Part Two of the Thesis deals with the current system of export promotion in the Czech Republic. Early in the 1990s the Czech Government realised there was a need for introduction of the system of export promotion similar to those offered by other European countries. The Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation ("EGAP") along with the Czech Export Bank ("CEB") were set up as Export Credit Agencies of the Czech Republic. This Thesis analyses and assesses products offered by both CEB and EGAP. For Czech business, export promotion is further complimented by the services of CzechTrade, the Government trade promotion agency, as well as by CzechInvest, Czech Centers and the Commercial and Economic Sections of Embassies and Consulates abroad. Cooperation between financial institutions in the...

Dolinková, Marie ; Salač, Josef (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee)
Resumé The Lease of Flat As the theme of my thesis I have chosen the problem of a lease of flat because the legal regulation of flat renting in our system of law has been still developing in the latest twenty years and it is passing through the relatively important changes, concerning regulations of setting and amount of the rent especially. The significance of the legal regulation of flat renting in the Czech Republic is also emphasized by the high percentage of inhabitants who live in rented flats. Since the legal regulation of a flat lease is rather extensive and complicated I tried to describe at least the core features of that legal institute, in my thesis I focused on discharge of the rent. My thesis consists of 13 chapters. In the introductory part I deal with the term of the housing law and its meaning. Despite the fact that in the present there is not a civil definition of the term - a flat in the Czech system of law I attempt to explain that term and I define the term of cooperative and official quarters too. In the third chapter I itemize the basic characteristics of the rent and the institute of flat renting. In the fourth chapter I deal with the ways of a rise of a flat lease, especially the contract of lease of a rented flat in itself. The fifth chapter briefly describes correlative rights and...

Pleva, Miroslav ; Lešetický, Ondřej (advisor) ; Mlčák, Jan (referee)

First part of the thesis concerns franchising in general, describes its principals, development, law regulation etc. Second part analyzes franchising market in the Czech Republic and subsequently identifies respective concepts that are active within the scope of health care services. In my opinion, based on the analysis performed and with respect to theoretical findings, due to specifics of health care services, franchising might represent a suitable form of cooperation only among selected types of these services. Recommended among the concepts available on our market within the scope of health care services are those, which according to my opinion have potential to become a successful business opportunity.

Rojko, Ivan ; Durdisová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Minárik, Pavol (referee)
The main objective of my diploma thesis was to explain the principles and basic terms of drug policy in the Czech Republic, and to illustrate all the issues of government regulations in this area. This paper is trying to confront two different kinds of health services. The first one based on liberal principles, without any government intervention (system in USA), and the second one demarcating with regulations and restrictions, devoid of any free market fundamentals (system in EU). It describes the relationship between patient and doctor, and points out the different number of information, they dispose of. This paper is trying to explain the problem of skewed distribution of information in society. It presents how the government regulations in the free market area destroy the source allocation efficiency and goes against the satisfaction of customers' needs.

REGULATION OF RADIO AND TV BROADCASTING
Paroubková, Martina ; Soška, Milan (advisor) ; Gregárek, Matěj (referee)
An analysis of the state interventions into a broadcasting market will be the aim of this thesis. A state is in the most of countries represented by a special broadcasting market commission. In my thesis I will focus on the commission's behaviour. In the first part of my thesis I would like to consider a theoretical background, history and actual legislation of the electromagnetic spectrum regulation, particularly the legislation of both types of regulation -- structural and content regulation. Conclusions reached will be applied to the situation in the Czech Republic. The thesis should answer questions as whether the members of the commissions are objective, independent in their decision-making and behave within the defined legal frame. Acting of the Czech commission will be analyzed on the example of "Radio Wave affair". This radio station was taken from analog broadcast after the pressure from the Council of the Czech Radio.

Macro economical development of East Germany and Czech republic after the 2. World War
BENDÍKOVÁ, Zuzana
There are two countries I will focus on in my bachelor thesis: East Germany and Czech Republic and their macroeconomical development after The Second World War. In the theoretical part I describe the main processes that define macroeconomy such as national accounts, gross domestic product, gross national income, balance of payments, economic growth, inflation, unemployment and fiscal and monetary policy. These factors help me to describe the economical development of these countries in the times of Socialism, when their economies were regulated from one center. They were important members of the Warsaw Pact. Then I capture the situation after the fall of the Berlin Wall, thereafter the both countries had to transform to market economy, and the state wasn't the only participant on the market anymore. The transformation, as a considerable event for further development of the countries, is unique in both of these countries, that is why they need to be addressed separately.
