Lifelong learning: diagnostics
Míka, Jan ; Večeřa, Ivo (referee) ; Beneš, Milan (advisor)
The present thesis attempts to find a general model for tailerod education of adults. The author start s off by defining the recipients in the current education landscape. Thereafter, he provides a comprehensive overview of both well- and less-known typologies (MBTI, Keirsey, Kolb, LS). Based on a critical assessment of the instruments in view of their appropriateness for the categorization in lifelong learning, the author concludes that the existing approaches, while offering valuable insight, may be less than optimal for the education of adults, the reason being the complexity of application. The thesis concludes with a proposed approach drawing on Jung's personality theory, outlining a general method for the education in differentiated groups that could prove useful. The thesis can serve as either a starting point for further empirical research to validate the practical approach towards the differentiated groups determined with the empiricaltheoretical model, or as a guide for junior practitioners.

Optimalization in allocation drivers at bus service
Sokol, Petr ; Štěpán, Josef (referee) ; Bartušek, Bohumír (advisor)
The thesis is focused on suggesting an algorithm for planning of optimal assignment drivers and vehicles to scheme of expeditions. When we make the assignment, we aspire to minimize the total transportation costs. By the same mail we push for well-balanced assignment, with respect to utilization of drivers and vehicles . The structure of the planning problem there is describing by making out of a wide linear model, whose parts are algebraic formulations of restrictions, which one must in traffic abide. In this model we can see binary and real variables that mean we draw up a model of mixed integer programming. We can say, that the integer programming is in general more complicated, then integer programming. We used optimization software named GAMS for solution this problem. The software uses Branch and Bound algorithm for the integer number problems. We draw up a program in GAMS, which is able to set an optimal pian for assignment drivers and vehicles to expeditions. A part of this work is couple of exemplary tasks, with their solution.

Práce také zdůrazňuje účetní předpoklady a zásady, z nichž je nutné při oceňování ve finančním účetnictví vycházet, a zmiňuje některé problémy s oceňováním spojené.

Liability of the carrier in international carriage of goods
Šilha, Ivo ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Růžička, Květoslav (referee)
64 Thesis name: Carrier's lability in international transport of goods Resume: The aim of my Master Thesis was to analyze the relationships arising during the international transport of goods, especially in terms of a carriers's liability. The reason was an effort to clarify these relationships to readers and to highlight possible problems that may arise during international transport. My main objective was to examine in detail international legal regulations for road transport of goods, especially the CMR Convention. However, the Master Thesis deals with all types of the transport of goods used. The Master Thesis is divided into 9 chapters and respective subchapters (or other parts); each chapter deals with various aspects of transportation types, both general and specific. The first chapter is an introduction to the topic and deals with historical aspects of the development of transportation and description of different transport types used. The second chapter describes in general the resources of legal regulations for international transport and definitions used in this field. The third chapter describes specific principles of legal regulations of relationships arising during both domestic and international transport. In addition to the description of possible ways of legislative regulation of these...

Development of the Czech form of the Patterns of Adaptive Learning Scales (PALS)
KOVÁČOVÁ, Klára
The undergraduate thesis explores validity of genuine Czech translation of PALS questionnaire in Czech environment. This method is built on Carol Dweck?s goal theory, which is described in theoretical part, also with basic background in the field of educational motivation. Research was conducted on the sample of 549 pupils in 8th and 9th grade and their results were compared with original research of Carol Midgley et al. (2000). Factor analysis and reliability analysis was done on used scales and it is obvious that simplification and language modification of items is needed, but still it appears from the results that this method distinguish goals correctly in Czech environment and it can be put into practice after further research.

Methodology of Innovative Software Product Development
Novák, Adam ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Mittner, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the domain of software product methodologies in the context of innovation. In the opening part of the thesis the field of innovation and creativity is analysed. In the next chapter the reasons justifying the necessity to create a methodology for innovative software product development are given. The main intention of this thesis was to create a new methodology of innovative software product development; so the next section focuses on this goal. The new methodology relies on current agile software development methodologies, best practices in innovation management and approaches to startup creation. Based on these principles, the requirements are set up and individual components selected that will form the new methodology. A model of the new methodology was created using tool Eclipse Process Framework. Consequently the methodology was validated by its prospective users.

The Irish Peasant Novels of Emily Lawless Hurrish: A Study & Grania: The Story of an Island
Bonnerová, Kateřina ; Wallace, Clare (advisor) ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee)
The Anglo-Irish writer, Emily Lawless (1845 - 1913), has not, in the period following her death, been a very well-known, or widely appreciated, author. At the end of the 19th century though, she was popular with the English reading public, mainly because of her two contemporary Irish peasant novels, Hurrish: A Study and Grania: The Story of an Island, in which she managed to awaken English society to the plight of the impoverished Irish peasant. As Emily Lawless has not been widely studied nor written about only until recently, my access to resources, both primary and secondary, is very much limited. For this reason, I was able to acquire only one of the novels (Hurrish) as a printed publication, while the other novel Grania was available to me only in an electronic version. While William Linn's dissertation "The Life and Works of the Hon. Emily Lawless, First Novelist of the Irish Literary Revival" has been a valuable source of all the details of Lawless's biography and writings in general, the critical articles have been only a few. These include the 1980s first critical "appreciations" after years of neglect, by Elizabeth Grubgeld and Betty Webb Brewer, and more recent essays of James Cahalan, Jacqueline Belanger and Heidi Hansson. This thesis will attempt to introduce the writer in terms of life...

Image, photography as a concept in elementary school education
Macháčková, Zuzana ; Šamšula, Pavel (advisor) ; Novotná, Magdalena (referee)
Annotation: Macháčková, Z.: Image, photography as a concept in elementary school education [Diploma thesis] Brno 2012 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of education, Department of Art, 114 p. Objectives: Based on both recommended and other literature, discuss the evolution of photography (analogue and digital photography, photographic types and genres) and hint at the specifics of photographic production in comparison with classical art media. Discuss the expressive possibilities of manipulated photography (PC photography editing, collage, photomontage, etc.), with attention to applicability of photography in elementary school education. Consider organic inter-discplinary relations between the art class and other classes. Design a didactic project for an art class, based on the Framework Education Programme for Basic Education. The project should employ digital photography as a specific and accessible art medium and should be practically validated. It should focus on experiments and etudes, in which students would use photography as an accessible tool to experience and create art. Results: The proposed project, based on digital photography as a device for art activities, has shown that photography can be practically and successfully applied in elementary school classwork. Keywords: Elementary...

Modelling 3D Forest Structure for Improved Retrieval of Forest Biophysical Properties

Tyto změny umožnily silný rozvoj informačních a komunikačních technologií.
